Sweat dribbles down the side of your face, your hair sticks to the back of your neck and your mouth is almost an exact reflection of your current environment. Dragging yourself through the Scorch, you felt your energy seep out of your body with every step. 

"Hey (y/n), you okay?" Minho appears beside you with a concerned look on his face. "You look like you're about to faint" he quickly adds after you shoot him a questioning look.

You sigh, "I'm feeling the same as everyone else, Minho. How far does the town look now?" You quickly change the topic.

The corner of Minho's lips curl downwards as an obvious frown forms on the boy's cheeks. He looks forward towards the old town and then faces you again.

"Maybe we could reach it by tomorrow. We can rest tonight." Minho replies, his tone slightly changed.

You both continue walking as silence takes over for a while.

"Hey, (y/n) stop walking for a minute" Minho suddenly speaks up again, stopping in his tracks.

"w- what?" Confused, you stop walking and give Minho another questioning look as if he'd gone mad.

Minho just chuckles, "turn around for a sec"

You sigh but do as your told. Your back is facing Minho when you hear the tearing of fabric behind you.

"Minho what-" 

"Don't turn around" he says sternly and you hear him step closer to you.

You feel yourself blushing, not from the heat, but from embarrassment as strange thoughts pop up in your head. What's he going to do?

You gasp softly as you feel fingers brush against your skin and through your hair. Minho takes your hair into his hands and positions it in a pony tail, quickly tying it up with what must be the piece of fabric together heard tearing before.

You turn back around to face Minho, who had the dumbest grin playing in just lips but a slightly tint of crimson staining his cheeks.

"Feel better?" He asks.

You tip your head slightly in a nod. 

"Thanks" you say quietly, a smile on your lips.

Minho's grin just widens, "you can pay me back when he get out of here"
