REUNION OF THE
CROSS HEDGEHOG SPECIES

Annie and Dani checked out of their hotel that morning at 8. They drove to Mavani Village once again to pick up the two hedgehogs from Maria's house.

Once they made it to the village, Annie saw Maria who was busy preparing her hedgehogs for their trip. She held a large bag out of the house and Roy helped her.

Shadow and Mephiles still looked grumpy, they clearly didn't want to go with Annie.

"Alright, are you ready to go?" Annie asked.

Shadow and Mephiles just nodded their heads without saying anything.

"Ms. Annie, I have something important to tell you about the things in that bag!" Maria walked over to Annie.

"Okay, what is it?" She asked.

"First, Shadow and Mephiles only like to eat raw meat especially rabbit's. So I packed a bunch of rabbit meat in there in case you haven't prepared it." Maria said and Annie nodded.

"Okay, second, Mephiles doesn't like his muzzle to be uncovered from his mask. He also needs to change the mask every six hours, the masks are washable and I already packed a bunch for him. So please pay attention to his schedule." She explained.

"Alright, I got it." Annie smiled.

"And one last thing! They don't like to be separated, so they need to be together all the time."

"Okay, I'll have them sleep in the same room. That's easy." Annie nodded. "Anything else?"

"Nope." Maria smiled.

"Great, thank you." She smiled back.

Maria turned back to face Shadow and Mephiles, she kneeled down and fixed their quills with her hands.

"Now I want you two to be nice to the two other hedgehogs when you meet them, okay? Treat them with care since the four of you are the only ones left in your species." She advised.

"Yes, Maria. We'll try." Shadow said and Mephiles nodded.

Maria pulled in an embrace as she gently caress their quills. "I'm going to miss you guys."

Shadow and Mephiles didn't say a word but to hug her back, after a few seconds they finally let go and the two hedgehogs went inside the car. After their final goodbyes, the car finally drove off to the airport where they get into the private jet.

The two hedgehogs nervously walk to the jet, when Dani wanted to hold their arms as to keep them safe and not fall off the stairway, Shadow hissed angrily. That made Dani to pull his hands back in fear.

They all got inside the jet and it finally took off to head back to the facility.

Almost an hour later, they arrived at the facility.

"Shadow, Mephiles, welcome to my animal preservation facility." Annie smiled as they stepped out of the jet.

The twin hedgehogs stared at the big building, they began to question the place and thought that there was no way they have other Cross Hedgehogs living there. Well, if anything bad happens they could use their natural weapons to escape.

Annie took them in, they went to the elevator and she pressed the 9th floor. Sonic and Silver's rooms were on the tenth and top floor.

"Alright, let me show where you're gonna stay for these few days." Annie smiled as she hold the large bag Maria prepared for them.

Shadow and Mephiles followed her into the room, they saw Annie opening a door where it leads to their new bedroom. The walls were painted in a cream color, the floors were made out of dark hardwood and there were two beds on each sides. There was a small sitting table in the middle of the room and a round white carpet. On the right corner was a door to the bathroom, next to the door was a water dispenser.

"I'll put your bag here, okay?" Annie smiled and placed it down near the table.

"Also, I'm gonna have to take these to the freezer to preserve the condition, are you okay with that?" She asked as she took the many containers filled with raw rabbit meat.

"Sure, as long as we get them when it's time to eat." Shadow said.

"Great, the freezer is just outside your room." Annie took them outside where there was a small kitchen area, she carefully put all the containers in the freezer as the twin watched her every movement.

"Okay...so, I guess it's time for you to meet your mates." Annie smiled and they followed her to the elevator.

Once they finally reached the top floor, Shadow and Mephiles saw an empty small room and a door leading to another room. They stepped out of the elevator and got a little confused.

"Okay, behind this door are the two Cross Hedgehogs that wants to mate with you. I would really appreciate it if you care very gently for them, okay?" Annie asked and the two hedgehogs nodded.

"Alright, let's go." She smiled and opened the door where she finally meet Sonic and Silver again.

For some reason, Sonic was reading a book while laying on the dining table. Silver wasn't on sight so he must have been in his room.

"Sonic? Hey, I have your mate." Annie called.

Sonic scoffed and chuckled mockingly, "as if you think you can lie to m- oh?" He sat up and got surprised when he saw another of his species. He jumped down from the table and stared at the twin confusingly.

Shadow and Mephiles stared at each other worryingly.

"Sonic, go get Silver and I'll introduce them to you." Annie said.

Sonic went to Silver's room and managed to drag him out. He was also shocked when he saw the other Cross Hedgehogs standing in the room. They really didn't think Annie would find one, heck she found two.

"So, this is Shadow and this Mephiles. They came all the way from Mavani Village here to mate with you." Annie smiled, "from now on they'll be staying here until you're satisfied with your mating session."

Sonic and Silver blushed madly, they really didn't think it was possible to get a mate.

"Shadow, Mephiles, the blue one is Sonic and the albino one is Silver. Can I trust you to take care of them now?"

"Y-Yeah..." Shadow stuttered.

"Alright. Sonic, you know what to do. If you need anything just press the bell." Annie smiled and walked away. "Have fun choosing who to mate with." She teased before finally leaving the room.

Sonic and Silver still didn't know what to do while Shadow and Mephiles just stood there, also didn't know what to do. They just stared at each other awkwardly, it was going to be a hard time to for them to know each other.

Alright so that's the first three chapters of this new fanfic I'm making. I'll publish the rest when I'm done writing all of them!
