The next morning, I wake up to Steven's face in front of me. He smiled, "Good morning, Alyssia." "Morning, Steven." Bagon, who also woke up, cried and squirmed in my arms. I held him close as I said, "Steven, can you make some more juice?" "Of course." He got up, picked more berries, and made more juice. He handed it to me and sat back down as I fed Bagon. As soon as Bagon finished, we got up and continued on our way to Mt. Chimney. As I walked with Bagon in my arms, Steven walked closer and wrapped an arm around my waist. He smiled at me and said, "Alright, My. Chimney isn't far." "Good, maybe Bagon's mother is there. Then we'll be able to spend time together." He nodded, "And after that, maybe we could stop in Lavaridge Town and relax at the hot springs." I gasped, "They have hot springs?! We're definitely stopping there!" He chuckled as we continued walking, finally arriving at the base of Mt. Chimney. That's when I noticed something flying toward us. Steven must've noticed too, because he reached for his pokeballs. I quickly grabbed his arm and said, "Wait." I realized that it was a Salamence flying toward us. "I wonder if that's Bagon's mother." The Salamence landed in front of us and roared. Bagon reached toward Salamence and I knew I was right. I slowly approached her saying, "It's ok. Bagon's alright." She let me approach her and I released Bagon, who ran over to her, hugging her leg. She bowed her head to me as a way of saying thanks. I gave Bagon one more hug, before Salamence scooped him up and flew off.

Steven came up behind me, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Don't worry, Alyssia. He's back where he belongs, with his mother." "I know, but I'll still miss him." Steven gave me a quick hug before saying, "Come on, let's get a cable car to ride to the top of Mt. Chimney." I nodded and smiled, "Ok." He grabbed my hand and led me over to the base station, going inside and getting a cable car for us. He gestured for me to get inside, but I was a little nervous to go in since I've never been in a cable car. I've never been way up in the air either, even when I ride Latios, we never fly that high up. I hesitantly went inside with Steven right behind, sitting down next to the window. Steven draped an arm around my shoulder as the car started to move. I peered out the window as we slowly left the station, getting higher and higher into the air. I started trembling a bit, my nerves getting to me. I was brought back to reality by Steven's voice, "Alyssia, are you alright? You're shaking." I turned toward him and gave a small smile, "I'm ok, just a little nervous. I've never been this high up before." "Not even with Latios?" I shook my head, "No. I've always been a little afraid of being really high up in the air." I looked back out the window to see the ground in the distance.

I suddenly felt Steven's hand on my cheek, turning my head toward him. He smiled and said, "Then don't pay attention to what's out there, just focus on me instead." I stared into his eyes, feeling my fear disappear. I returned his smile, feeling myself relax. My fear returned when the cable car bumped us around, causing me to yelp in surprise. Next thing I know, I was wrapped up in Steven's arms. He pulled me closer and whispered in my ear, "Shhh, don't worry, it'll soon be over." I buried my head into his chest and waited for the cable car to stop. He gave my head a quick kiss and continued holding me, whispering reassuring words into my ear. After awhile, I felt the cable car stop, and slowly lifted my head up to see we had arrived at the station. Steven released me and grabbed my hand, leading me out of the cable car. He smiled, "There, see? We made it here safe and sound." "It's thanks to you Steven. You took my attention off of everything outside." "I was just doing what I could to keep you relaxed. Let's go check out the volcano." I nodded and followed him out of the station. I could immediately tell a difference in the temperature here, it was much hotter than at the base of the mountain. We headed farther into the volcano until we got as far as we could. The heat was beginning to get unbearable, but we did get to see the lava.

After getting to look around, we went back to the cable cars, taking one back down Mt. Chimney. It wasn't as scary the second time, but I still held onto Steven the whole time. Afterwards, we walked hand in hand to Lavaridge Town. Steven pointed to a building and said, "That's where the hot springs are." I cheered and pulled Steven along inside. We then separated, going into the individual springs. I changed into a bathing suit and sunk down into the refreshingly warm water. I heard about these hot springs being able to cure any ailment, and now I believe it. I don't know how long I was in there, but when I saw the sunset, I knew I should get out. I dried off and changed, coming out to see Steven waiting on me. "Sorry if I made you wait, Steven." "Not at all, I just got out myself. Let's go to the Pokemon center for the night." "Ok." We left, heading over to the Pokemon center. We rested our pokemon and went outside, releasing our pokemon so we could all eat. After eating, we relaxed a bit. Steven and I were giving our pokemon some attention, when we stopped at Tyranitar and Aggron. They stayed together a lot, which I thought was really cute. I was petting Tyranitar when Steven put an arm around me. I quietly said to Tyranitar, "Now we both have boyfriends." She nodded in agreement as I turned toward Steven and said, "I think it's time we all got some rest." He nodded and we returned our pokemon and headed for our rooms. I gave Steven a peck on the cheek before saying goodnight and heading to my room, finally getting to sleep in a cozy bed again.
