Hello, dear readers, Robin Hood fellows, and welcome to my first fanfiction in this magnificent fandom! It's an honour to have you here, indeed.

Before we begin with the fic itself, I'd like to point out a few things. First of all, this is a presentation of the entire series, every single plot line of it, by Guy of Gisborne's point of view. Therefore, he's going to become the main protagonist, unlike Robin in the series.

•)I'm going to stick to canon entirely BUT I'm also going to try to fix or enhance some points and plotlines too good to go to waste like Annie or Lambert. Though, episode plotlines and major turning points are going to be exactly as in canon. There'll be other fics to defy those, of course, in the future, be sure of it!

•)Every chapter is going to start and end with some lyrics of a different song each time. It's an idea that I developed and never tried before and I'll do my best so that the lyrics shall be interrelated with each chapter's content as well.

•)Just like the series itself, the first character of the main ones we'll get to meet is going to be Allan. Can't tell you more but I promise an unforgettable first meeting between him and Guy!

•)I've quite enhanced Guy's past. Actually, I've tried to fill up some years left in the dark such as what happened after his parents' deaths, how he came to sell Isabella off to Thornton, how he met Vaisey, etc. I've got to mention that these fillers highly involve King Henry II, Queen Eleanor of Aquitane (I just love her too much to pass on an opportunity to write her), some jousting and civil disputes (You know, those glorious times when Eleanor and her sons rebelled against King Henry? I just couldn't resist!)

•) When it comes to shipping, I'm a Guy/Marian diehard, quite convicted indeed! Hence, I'll try to do them justice, since they're a ship quite developed in the background, I'll enhance them BUT NOT change the end or any important plot twists.

•) Lastly, Greek is my mother tongue, English is my greatest love but French is my guilty pleasure. And, since Guy's half French, there's going to be some French words here and there, just to add some character and colour to the text. I'll make sure to cite some translation as well, of course!

That's pretty much all I wanted to say. Once again, thank you very much for being here and giving my humble fic a try, I'd love to hear your thoughts about it in the comments but nonetheless, I feel very grateful and honoured to have you here, with me, on this historical journey to a deranged, scarred, adorably rotten soul that's called Guy of Gisborne.
