Thursday 9:00
Today's the day, it's senior prom day. We still have class today, sadly would have loved to miss some classes, but I'm kinda looking forward to the prom actually! It'll be nice, spending a whole night with Em. I'm sure she'll like it too. Maybe we even get to talk with some of the others.

Jane closed her journal and pushed it back into her backpack. She sat in the front of the classroom for her first class of the day, Biology. She found it boring, because she knew everything already anyways. Everyone behind her was talking about the prom and their teacher, mrs Finley, didn't seem to care. Over all the noise she could clearly hear Matt, the bully of the class.

Emily was sitting next to her and busy finishing her homework for the class and Jane knew better than to try and talk to her.

Jane now grabbed her phone from the side of the desk and went online to look over the makeup and hair plan one more time. Tonight she would wear a floor length light blue off the shoulder dress dress with glitters and a matching mask. She loved the dress, and when she had seen it when they went dress shopping she immediately had known it was the one.

'I'm done', Emily said after another ten minutes. 'What ya doing?'

'Nothing really', Jane replied as she put her phone down. 'Just looking at our plan. We're meeting at five at your place, right?'

'Yeah, totally', Emily replied with a smile. 'Maybe we'll even dance with someone.'

'Chances are you will yeah', Jane replied.

Both giggled and Jane played a little bit with her blonde hair. Her hair was always a mess and was very frizzy, she could never get it to behave. Even when it was in a braid or bun hairs would stick out. So she opted to wear it loose, all day, every day. It didn't look nice, but like this it would at least look like something.

'Are you reading any good books by the way?' Emily asked, as she noticed Jane would probably like to chance the subject.

'Yeah', Jane replied with a big smile on her face. 'But I can't remember the title. All I know is that it's good.'
