Chapter Six
Grandpa

"You'll be fine with a small shot come on!" I begged A.L who showed no emotion and turned away from me. 

I already took 2 shots and I was beginning to feel it, I like being lightweight because I get to have so much more fun without having to take so much. I am still fully conscious but I felt loosened up and I wanted A.L to feel the same way!

"Get that away from me, I don't need that to have fun." He scolded and swatted his hand. 

"A.L come on! Have fun with me! I'll take care of you!" I exclaimed. 

Around this time the lights had turned off and there was more upbeat music rather than waltz so people were having a lot more fun dancing their hearts away. 

Even Historia was on the dance floor dancing!

"Take care of me?" He scoffed and shook his head. "You're practically begging me to take care of you."

"Please? No pressure." I whimpered with puppy eyes. "Fine, I'll go dance on my own." 

I felt a hand stop me from moving towards the dance floor, he had pulled me towards him which shocked me so I almost fell but he held me close. 

"Enya, I don't care if you get yourself in trouble. You're not being rational right now." He warned. 

"I can take care of myself." I rip my arm away from his grasp. "I just want to have fun! Leave me alone then! Get lost!" 

I glare at him before stepping on the dance floor and letting loose, this music was too good to just sit around and talk with a random stranger. I knew I wasn't getting too fucked up that I would have a hangover tomorrow but to a good point where I didn't have any worries. This guy almost just ruined my night I hope I don't ever meet him again. He's too controlling!

Even if he pissed me off I couldn't stop myself from trying to steal a glance at him, he still sat at the table with a glare towards his cup filled with tea. 

He's such an old grandpa for that! He is definitely not my type, I need someone fun to be around!

"Athena! I found you! I didn't find any new meat to dance with but how did your night go?" Hange bumped into me and we both start dancing. 

"Met a random guy who acts like a grandpa, he wasn't very fun." I snorted shooting my hands up. 

I glance at A.L again but this time he's staring right at me with no emotion, he's fucking creepy. 

"Who cares! You're with me now! Let's get fucked up!" Hange cheered and thrusted her hands into the air. 

"Hange! Not you!" I whined, she probably drank too much and I'm going to have to take care of her now. "I don't have time to take you back to my room." 

"Then sleep with me, my room is closer to our assignment tomorrow." She giggled. 

"You push me off the bed dude, remember last time you were drunk?" I readjusted my mask slightly since it was starting to fall off from all the dancing.

"I won't this time, I promise!" She cheers.

"No cuddling!" I insisted.

"NO CUDDLING! Roger that!" She replied.

That night I ended up dragging her out of the castle with such effort and I walked Hange to her room, she may look light but this girl was seriously heavy I'm not suer where all of it is coming from! Maybe she's purposely making it hard for me. 

"Hange." I groan as I rest her on her bed, I took off her glasses and dress to reveal her night clothes underneath. 

I move her more into the bed with her mask on the nightstand and take off her shoes as she snoring away, I always feel like the babysitter I swear! I began to take off my dress as well when I heard a knock at the door.

Fuck.

I push the dress against my chest and slowly shuffle to the door with my mask still on. 

"Yes?" I call out before opening.

"Hange here?" I heard a familiar voice. 

"Um, she's asleep! I had to take her to her room I barely tucked her in." I replied. "Why?"

"Open the door." Is all I heard and I quickly glared at the reply. 

Rude ass people.

"I'm in the middle of changing, what do you need?" I opened the door to reveal a beautiful handsome guy with beautiful eyes narrowed at me. 

Wow. Just wow. I have no words.

"Eh," He realized that I was in fact, changing. "She needs to be up early tomorrow, I don't care how many drinks- Wait, you look familiar." 

Huh? I have never seen this delicious yummy gummy bear of a guy before in my life! If I did I probably would've already made a move on him, didn't even know there was a guy this handsome out here in our community. 

"I can wake her up, is there anything else you need?" I looked him up and down with my arms crossed, did he seriously just come here to tell me that? 

"Well- Usually I would scold her but seeing as she's asleep she's lucky to not have to deal with the consequences till morning." He murmured. "I'll come back in the morning to make sure she's up." 

Like I give a fuck? Who the hell does he think he is? Hange is a punctual soldier, she's never late! 

"Yeah, is that all you need?" I sighed and look around the room in boredom. 

"Uh, yeah." He spoke quietly. 

"Okay, night sir." I closed the door without letting him say another word. 

Ugh, men nowadays think they have the nerve to try to tell us what to do. Everyone knows that Hange is well respected why would she just get wasted and forget her duties!

Man this liquor is really hitting me good, I feel like knocking out now. 

I slipped into the bed sheets and turn off the lights, once I finally feel like I'm about to drift off I felt a hand curving around my waist and pull me closer. 

Hange zoe. Fucking hell, again? You said you wouldn't. 

I sighed and pressed my hand against hers and snuggle a bit closer to her, sometimes I like when she does this but I respect my personal space a lot more. I don't know if she does it on purpose to mess with me or she genuinely doesn't know. 

But sometimes you need to hold someone or be held, sometimes you just need to know that someone is there.
