They both stopped laughing after that, mom was screaming her lungs out. "Dammit can you drive any faster grandma, you drive, slower than Daesung Oppa. Pullover now, I'mma bout to school you in driving old man." Dad pulls over, "Just hold her hand, and whatever you do don't tell her to calm down."

I shifted gears and stepped on it, the times I snuck out to the arcade. When I was supposed to be resting and not putting any strain on my back and legs when I was younger. I could hear two big babies telling me to slow the hell down, at this moment I truly didn't care how many red lights I ran. As long as I was able to get mom safely to the hospital, and the baby out of harm's way. I pulled up and drifted the car to a stop, as both Mikey and Jiyong ran inside for help.

I looked over at dad when I heard the sirens. "I'll stay right here, I have a feeling I'll be going to jail for endangerment and speeding." I put my hands over my head and got on my knees, I didn't fight them I wasn't planning on it either. Till I heard my mom SCREAM out in pain, it's when my heart broke for her.

"YOU BITCHES! UNHAND MY DAUGHTER, THIS INSTANCE. YOU FUCKERS HAVE NO IDEA WHO SHE IS OR WHO I AM OR MY FAMILY." I SCREAMED AT THE POLICE WHO WAS BEING ROUGH WITH KAI.

I looked inside the car, "Ma, it's alright. I broke the law, only because I was trying to keep you and my baby sister alive. I'm fine, keep Jiyong and Mikey in their dad. Don't worry about me, if anything I'll just get slapped with a fine." I watched as a nurse comes out with a gurney, I see a few flashes here and there taking my picture.

"OMG IT"S KAI! It's really her! Unnie, is your mom okay? Did her water break and you raced her for her safety?" A random girl shouted out.

"Yeah, it's fine don't cause any trouble for the officers. They are just doing their job, do me a favor yeah call up SM and let the secretary know I'm getting arrested for speeding, but I made sure my mom made it to the hospital just fine." I smile one last time at the girl, as I'm handcuffed and put in the back of a patrol car.

I was sitting in the back of the police cruiser when I see a familiar face look back at me. "What the hell are you doing here Kris?"

"Shh, my brother in law recorded everything. He was on his break when we were eating dinner. Taeyang and N called me to be on the lookout for you, also Director Lee wants you to be in a street racing movie now only this time with a motorcycle. You In?" I explain to Kai about the situation.

I gave Kris this face (ㆆ▃ㆆ), "Wait a minute, I thought you were supposed to go back home to get married? Why are you here? Your my best friend and all but that's some fucked up shit if you left her, well that's my own opinion anyway."

"Well it was a big ass joke according to my grandmother, she is like that. She's a little mad that I wasn't early in meeting you, but she said she's officially adopting you as her granddaughter in law anyways Jiyong has no say in it." I explain to her.

I moved around in the seat when the guy in the front seat turns around and tells me to just sit tight. He was going to drive around the back and uncuff me there. As Captain of his precinct, he understood my dilemma more than anyone. He explained to me before he had joined the police force, he had gone through the same thing but with his wife. He jokingly asked if I ever had a change of heart of my occupation, I would have a badge waiting for me.

I thanked him, "If I can't do any of my dreams anymore, I'll come looking for you. I've always wanted to be an officer, protecting those who are in dire need of it." I got out, hugging Kris and his cousin.

I ran inside to see my brother and Jiyong in the waiting room, Mikey took one look at me and decided to launch himself at me. I dodged and he landed on top of Jiyong, at that moment dad steps out and grabs me in a hug. I explained to him what happened, he said he was thankful to Kris and his cousin. I called up Channie and Mina, Kevin, and N, telling them to get their ass to the hospital. I spoke to my grandparents, the kids were sleeping so I asked T.O.P Oppa to go over to the house and watch them as my grandparents came to the hospital. The boys were so happy that they were going to be big brothers especially Jun, he is officially dad's little shadow.

I heard a babies cry, I turned and ran into the maternity ward. Not caring if I was allowed or not, I stood in the doorway as I see the nurse hand my baby sister to my mother.

"Kai, sweetie come and meet Tian Lee Chen" I look at both of my daughters as I start to cry just a little bit.

"Nice, I like her initials T.L.C. Thats too cute but I'm gonna call her Ten, because she has 10 other siblings and she makes it much better I am no longer the only girl. I'll teach her how to dance, and little tricks on how to get stuff from her Oppas." 

"You're gonna teach our baby sister what now?" I stood in the door way looking at Noona and she looked at me like a deer caught in headlights. I watched as she dodges me and runs out of the room telling us she'll be back

- a few hours later -

Every one had left to organize a party for Tian, dad had gone to freshen up and grab some food. I sent my brothers home with Jiyong to keep him company, I gave T.O.P Oppa permission to kick his ass if he starts to misbehave. A nurse came and notified me, that my dad had gone to the nursery to feed my sister but I was holding her in my arms. I gave her a weird look, only because it takes dad about an hour to shower. Plus he just left not 10 minutes ago, something was going on and I didn't like it. I had called Shawn to check it out, I wasn't going to leave both mom and Tian. But the thing the nurse did, made me confirm what I was doubting.

A dark shadow had come into the room, I didn't know who it was but I slowly slid a sleeping Tian in the purple basinet. While pulling forward the blue one towards me, it had a creepy ass doll that Mina had brought for me to practice on. My cousin sure was weird, I might have to get her checked. I still had Shawn on the phone, I cleared my throat 3 times telling him I was in trouble and I needed help.

I felt cold steel the barrel of a small hand gun being pressed against my neck, I got scared because of the voice that spoke. It will always be the voice of my nightmares, "Be a good girl and grab your little sister, don't make no sudden movements or I'll shoot you where you stand."

I grabbed the blue basinet slowly and twisted in the person's arms, "Never, will I listen to you." Grabbing the toy doll, I squeezed it having the pee shoot out of her. Eww, it even had a smell to it, I ducked down quickly and punched him in his balls. I'm about to hit him again, but I hear a loud bang and scuffling of shoes behind me. The lights turned on and I heard a muffled scream. I've never been so happy to see Shawn, I thank uncle so much or giving me him as my guard.

Arms caught me before I fell to the ground.

"Boss, you're bleeding! Please don't go to sleep, come on boss. What about your husband? Your family? What about every single person you've met, that love you like we all do? What about your baby sister? She's going to need a Unnie, who love's busting knee caps and surprising them with your talent. Kai, Please don't close your eyes." I scream at the Kai as I feel the tears fall, I didn't protect her well enough. I should've been here for her, this shit never would've happened if I didn't listen to her.

- 9 hours later -

Damn, I jinxed myelf, I added getting shot to my list of the incidents that have happened in this lifetime of mine. But the one that takes the cake was the branded word on my back, getting shot doesn't even measure to the pain I received when I was 10. I felt a throbbing pain in my right shoulder, I couldn't move one bit. So I just laid there with my eyes open, starring at the glow in the dark stars on the ceiling. I smile to myself, N knows me so well. I turn on my left side slowly, I let out a low hiss as I must've moved my right shoulder as I shifted my body. I'm startled to see a face so close to mine, we were so close our lips touched. The slight touch woke him up, as he blinked his eyes at me.

I thought I was dreaming, I felt a small caress on my lips. Fluttering my eyes open and closed a few time, I nuzzled my nose against hers as we brushed our lips together. I pulled back, "You know they had to revive you twice, your guard Shawn and I wanted to beast the living shit out of all the doctors and nurses. Dad had to ask a few of the security guards to subdue us, until you were in a room safe and sound. I thought I had lost you, I thought my songbird was going to leave me. I know I fucked up, I should've told you everything from the start. I have no one to blame but myself, so I want to ask you something. I have no idea how you will answer, but can we start over?" I looked down at Kai, my body and voice were tired. I picked her up slowly as I held her in my arms, careful of not reopening her wound.

I looked up at him, I did and didn't hear everything. But what I did hear was his sincere apology, I only sighed and breathed in his scent. He smelled good but he had the stench of cigarettes on him, I scrunched my nose and caressed his face. "Oppa, have you been smoking? You smell like cigarettes, like the brand dad smokes. He thinks he's slick but mom and I know, we can smell it on your skin and in your hair." I explain to him, "But to answer you about starting over, how about we start with dating? Even though we are married, I think we should start slow, like from the beginning. Like back to the day after my actual birthday, that way we would have a better understanding of each other." I held him close as nuzzled my face in his neck trying to find a comfortable spot, I fell in to a deep slumber.

"I love you Kai, more than anytihing in this world. When my parents found out what happened, my mom beat the shit out of me. While my dad just stared at me with disappointment written all over his face, don't get me started on the boy's families. Everyone's mother gave me a piece of their minds, the bruises I got from them though doesn't even measure up to the pain I got when I heard youi got shot. It brings me back to that day in the hospital when you got stabbed for the second time." I looked down at my sleeping songbird in my arms.

I looked up, when I heard the door open. It was my mother and father in law, they each had a phone in their hands. I heard the shutter sound of the camera taking several shots, I wrapped my other arm around Kai and closed my eyes. I could no longer keep my eyes open, I heard more footsteps but it was too late I was falling asleep holding the love of my life.

I swear the book is almost over, I will have an epilogue and then the book is finished. I'll be updating my other books. I never EXPECTED for The Masked Trainee to get almost 2k views, It warms my heart. I think I've done good, well since my first story was posted lasted year well late 2017.
