Chapter 11 (Edited)
"Jaz, what is it?" Kate asked, confused. There was a frown on her face, because I had cussed, even though I wasn't supposed to.
"I don't know. I have no idea how I came up with this." I showed her the mark on my wrist: ☥
Kate looked at it and frowned. "It's an Ancient Egyptian symbol," she said. She grabbed my wrist and poked it. "Hey!" she yelped. "It shocked me." She waved her finger around, cussing under her breath.
I wrenched my hand from her grasp and started to take off my shirt. "I don't care what it is. It shouldn't be there. But, it is, so take off your shirt."
Kate's face fell at my request. "What? Why?"
"Well, my sleeves are loose. That means anyone can see it, and the mark on my wrist might mean life or death or something like that. I want this... thing to be covered, so I won't get questions asked about it."
Kate looked me over and saw the truth in my eyes. "You know, this shirt will actually look good on you with that skirt," she said. She took off her shirt, while I finished taking off mine and we swapped shirts. Kate grinned at me. "This is going to be fun," she said. She grabbed hold of my hand and pulled me back to the table, even though we didn't get our food.

"Where's your pizza?" Blake asked, as we came back empty handed. "Don't tell me that you're not hungry."
Damn...
I shrugged my shoulder, looking indifferent about the whole situation. "I guess I had changed my mind," I replied. "It's no biggie." I shrugged my shoulder again.
There was a loud bang and then a small growl. I turned around to see that Blake was looking like he was about to murder someone, because of my answer. "No biggie, my ass," he said. He handed me half his pizza. "Eat. And, eat it now."
Oh no he didn't just order me to eat something. That was something that I hated people doing. It didn't matter how hungry I was, I wasn't going to eat when I was ordered. I would eat when someone asked nicely.
I stiffened slightly, and I could feel my pack mates stiffening also. They knew that I hated being challenged. It didn't matter over what issue.
"Excuse me?" I asked, my voice deathly calm, while I looked at him.
"You heard what I said," He said, sounding rather unsure about what he said.
I busted out laughing, making my pack flinch a little, and shook my head. "Ooh, I did alright. And it's not happenin'." I stood and looked at my pack. "Finish eating and then get to class." With that I turned and stalked away, very pissed.
No one orders me around, if they aren't my Alpha. I hate being ordered around by people that think they could control me. I wasn't someone that would follow directions. I made my own path, mostly hoping that it would be for the best of my pack or others.
