Claire led him by the hand like a child, looking for the bathrooms. "You poor thing, your not used to seeing this sort of thing?" she asked, as they headed down a hall.
"I guess I grew up with.... active... parents..? So I was scarred at a pretty young age.." Frances whimpered, holding his nose.
"Oh my.. What irresponsible people. I don't believe in letting your children see what... adult love is.. not until their 18. But I couldn't actually explain that to Mason.. his father was supposed to do that.. but he was always busy with his female friends."
"Female friends..?" he asked, his eyes widening.
They stopped at the bathroom, Claire looking down. "Yeah my husband wasn't home that often... he would always go to bars, and would come home with a random woman. Figured it was normal- so I didn't say anything. Plus, whenever I would say something.... this would happen..." Claire explained, lifting her sleeve to reveal bruises and cuts.
Frances gasped, carefully touching her arm. "What a horrible horrible man...". As soon as he said that, a woman walked out of the restroom, Claire taking Frances's paw.
"Come on now, we gotta get you cleaned up--"
"W-Wait! That's the woman's room! I can't--" Claire giggled as he covered his eyes with his hat, her taking it away.
"Oh relax- like your gonna die or something, come on~ Better then me going into the boys' restroom where the men can eye me." Claire told him taking paper towels and wetting them. "Now stay still, hon." she told him, patting the blood on his nose.
Two girls came out of two of the stalls, both staring at Frances and Claire. "Is that your boyfriend or something? Haha!" one of them said with a nasty cackle.
"Right? They look like that. Guess she's into bears. What a freak~!" the other added, both of them leaving the bathroom snickering. Frances's eyes darkened when they walked out laughing, his eyes landing on Claire's as she cleaned the blood.
"Your just gonna take that?" he asked.
"I don't hurt people... Karma can take care of them~" Claire smiled, winking as she tossed the paper into the trash.
Frances blushed lightly, looking away. "R-Right... should be check to see if their done yet?" he asked shyly looking up at her with his green eyes.
"Why don't you go right ahead, Imma call your restaurant to see how Judith's treating the others," Claire smiled, patting his shoulder before parting ways- Frances heading back to the room.
As Frances headed to the room- he sensed something was wrong. But what? Then he a sudden flash of something made him stop abruptly, his eyes widening. White figures- shaped like Maria and Mason stood in the hall- Maria shoved Mason against a wall, him falling to the ground with a thud. Frances gasped when she snapped his neck- leaving his unconscious body. "NO!" he exclaimed, sitting up in the hallway- people crowding him.
"Sir, are you okay?" a nurse asked, her hand on his shoulder.
"Frances!" a familiar voice exclaimed. He turned to see Claire push through the crowd running towards him. "Everyone, give him space!" she exclaimed, kneeling next to him after waving her arms. She placed a hand on his cheek, a worried expression on her face. "Are you okay? They said you just collapsed on your way to the room- and when you fainted, you started trembling and shaking immensely."
"I-I'm fine." Frances replied, getting on his knees before standing up, hurrying to the room, "That short nightmare has to have a meaning- and it definitely not a good meaning ether." he thought as Claire chased after him.
"M-Mr Fazbear! Wait! Your an animatronic- I can't run as fast as you!!!" she exclaimed, running her heels tapping the hospital's tile floor.
Frances burst into the room to see Mason, and Maria laying in the bed- Mason caressing her head as she slept in his arms. "Oh, hey, Frances- where did you go? Me and Maria were waiting for you guys to come back," he smiled, whispering loud enough so he doesn't wake Maria.
"I-I.... but.... N-Nothing, don't worry," he whispered, smiling nervously.
"Frances! Goodness! Why were you running???" Claire asked breathlessly, bending to catch her breath.
"I'm sorry... I just... felt something was wrong...." he muttered, looking down in worry.
"Really? Is that why you were so dramatic? Fainting in a hospital hallway like your cat died? It's okay~ Everything's find~" Claire smiled, hugging his arm.
"I... n-no.... my gut never lies to me...." Frances muttered, eyeing Maria, "I swear somethings not--"
"Frances Frances Frances- the over thinking bear. You need to calm down- everything's fine. Maria and Mason are alive and well, your just tired. Mason has to stay in the hospital a little longer- and then he can leave. But me, you and Maria can go home for the day and rest. It's been a long day. I lost Mason at some point- we set up the microwave- and it fell and broke the tile floor. So we had to go into town- buy new tile. Realized there isn't any that look like the one we broke- so we had to replace everything. And then we went to the festival- and then I got a horrible headach- and then my baby almost died?? Ugh. Like me. You need rest. So to say... animtronics even sleep...."
"We don't. But like your phone- we have to charge, and the charging area is on my stage.... so I kinda have to go before my battery goes out from exhaustion...." Frances muttered, still nervous of his sudden fear.
"Come on, if it makes you comfortable- I can swing by tomorrow to see if your feeling better... okay~..." Claire told him softly, holding his paws in her hands- his paws making them look small.
"I..... s-sure.." he whispered, a light blush glowing through his cheeks.
"Ummm... do you want her to stay, Sweetie?" Claire asked, motioning towards Maria.
"Yeah, I don't mind," Mason smiled, his mom walking over- Frances heading to the opposite side.
"Get rest, okay, Baby~ You to tell Maria that. Okay?" Claire giggled, kissing Mason's forehead.
"M-Mom!" he exclaimed, pulling away blushing. Mason glanced over at Frances, shyly looking and down at his hands. Frances let out a soft yelp when he quickly hugged him, his arms around his wide torso.
"W-Wh... M-Mason?"
"Thank you for being there for me...." he whispered, his eyes shut tightly as his cheeks turned bright red. "Your the closest I have to a dad.... N-Now get the hell out of my room." he muttered, turning away blushing.
Frances chuckled, rustling his hair. "Sure thing, get some sleep, son." he told him, motioning for Claire, walking towards the door.
"Night, love birds~" Claire whispered, turning the light off and leaving.
Mason sleepily watched the blurred figures leave the room before he fell asleep,
"Night......."
