Dear Derek,

I feel like the most stupid woman on earth. I have really truly discovered that my dumbness exceeds all boundaries.

Remember, I told you about someone following me. I was right after all, but in the most miserable way possible.

The thing is, there is this new boy in my class. No, he is not a suitor. He, suffers from dyslexia and inferiority disorder and is hypersensitive. He came to the school a few days back, but apart from giving him the occasional pitiable glances, I really didn't notice him much.

It turned out that he had been following me all these days. He was too shy to ask if he could come along, as he lives right down my home lane, and he didn't want me to talk to him, so he followed me quietly. And to think how cruel I was.

Oh yes, I caught him red handed and I gave him such a horrific and angry lecture that it makes me wince. Of course he was reduced to tears, the poor boy,and of course I said sorry. A million times too, and the boy, bless his soul, accepted my apology the first time itself and cursed himself for being shy and diseased.

How bad such a life is. And here I thought I was suffering. Well I have offered to ride home with him each day.

He is a nice creature really. Very meek even when he towers over me in height and build. He does not look ill if you look at him, but his darting eyes, and soft answers explain the whole situation.

I feel very sleepy so I will end this here,and no letter for a few days now. Exams are coming up.

By the way, the boy's name is Drake. Coincidence?
