Do not, for the love of god, use caps lock to express emotion. It doesn't do anything but make the story seem cheesy and amateur. Caps lock should only be used to define written text and such.

This should really go without saying but I see so much, "OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!"

Like, emotion can be perfectly expressed with one exclamation mark. You don't need to go overboard and use eight exclamation marks and caps lock. It's really a childish thing to do and honestly, whenever I see this I instantly click out of a fic. Just some food for thought is all.
