❤✨ Winter is Coming
A/N
As a small celebration for the series finale of Game of Thrones (LMAO it was weeks ago at thias point), there's some stuff at the beginning that has spoilers for the Battle of Winterfell (I'm warning because there may be a few people who haven't seen it) and I may have decided to take the Zimbio "Which GOT house do you belong in?" Quiz with the characters in mind for a few purposes, but feel free to disagree with my choices, I tried my best. It gave me a bunch of weird results, but I tried XD.
Also it's an excuse to be a big geek about the series.

There comes a time in the Avengers tower where most everyone collectively sits in front of the large T.V. and actually agrees on what to watch.
Every week since the show aired it's fourth season, Tony would host a watch party for those that wanted of Game of Thrones. They all watched the early seasons together so everyone was on the same page and then continued from there. Those that had read the books before were not allowed to say what would happen.
So it was kind of a big deal when season 8, episode 3 aired. The weather outside was already snowing pretty hard and showed no signs of letting up, so it set the mood nicely.
Tony even had everyone take the house quiz before hand, omitting himself, because, well, he knew he was a Stark. Also, being the nerds they were, they adopted the house names as their own on viewing nights. Or really anytime Tony wanted.
So that night, Tony was surrounded by his friends for a heck of a viewing. To his right, Olivia (Targaryen) lay curled up with Loki (Greyjoy) and a bowl of popcorn. On the far right end of the couch was Wanda (Stark), Pietro (who actually was a Dothraki upon taking the quiz) on the floor below her. To Tony's left was Nat (also a Dothraki) and Bruce (Brother of the Night's Watch), Clint (Clegane) sitting on the back of the couch behind them. On the floor was Steve (Stark), Bucky (Dothraki), and Thor (Lannister).
Carson didn't particularly care for the show and prefered reading in his room, but it was kind of fun listening to everyone's reactions randomly with no context. Everyone was too protective of the teen's "innocent, Virgin eyes" to let them watch when they were still young, but they were having the books read to them.
Late in the night, all the lights were off and everyone was staring at the screen. The popcorn was mostly gone, but no one cared. Everyone held their breaths as the Night King went for his sword to kill Bran... But as Arya popped up, the team got frantic: heavy breathing, shaking, whispers...
Then everyone lost their shit when Arya stabbed and killed the Night King. The popcorn kernels flew out of bowls, Tony and Pietro were spazzing on the floor as everyone cheered and hugged each other. It got to a point where Carson and the teens came down to see what the hell all the screaming was about.
Maya taped all the chaos on her phone.
"What just happened?" Peter asked.
"Not sure, but I have not heard this much screaming since the end of season six." Carson said. Everyone settled back down...
... Just as the power went out. The T.V. shut off and everyone began protesting instantly. Steve stumbled in the dark and looked out the window.
"Guys, the snow is getting pretty deep. Whole area seems to be out of power." He said.
"Ah Jesus. Okay, well, someone needs to find a light so we can clean up the popcorn. Then we go to bed." He said. Someone snapped their fingers and a soft green glow lit up the spilled kernels and made them disappear.
"Cleaning's done." Olivia said in the darkness, before everyone heard someone, presumably her, stumble to the stairs to her room. Everyone else, a little clumsily, followed suit.
~The Next Morning~
Tony restored the power early the next morning. He looked outside to see the snow had stopped, but there was a lot of it on the ground, 'a foot and a half,' accoring to JARVIS. Everyone soon came to the kitchen for breakfast, pancakes courtesy of Clint. It was relatively quiet in the morning, no one preparing for training or missions.
Tony looked outside as he realized this. He got an idea.
"We should have a snowball fight." He said out of the blue.
"That's a little forward." Nat commented.
"I'm being serious. There's a lot of good, wet snow outside just waiting to be thrown around." Tony defended.
"Uh huh, and what will the media think of 'Earth's Mightiest Heroes' messing around like children outside?" Olivia asked using air quotes.
"Who gives a shit what everyone else thinks? We can pick teams and go with all out warfare. Snow walls, flags for teams, secret reload stashes... Come on, please you guys?" Tony asked. There was a moment of silence as everyone thought it over. Surprisingly, Steve spoke up first.
"I think it could be fun. We could call it a training excersize in the fact that it helps with strategy and battle techniques." Steve said.
"Cap's on board, that means he and I will be team captains. You guys for it?" Tony asked. Slowly, people nodded their heads. "Great, finish your breakfasts. Capsicle and I will head out early to build the snow walls. Let's say... Meet up in one hour outside."
One hour later, everyone was gathered outside in their snowgear. Wanda had even taken the time to make team flags: Iron Man's helmet for Tony, and Captain America's shield for Steve. Tony and Steve stood a yard or two apart from each other and faced the others.
"It's a school yard pick. Tony, you can go first." Cap said.
"Natasha." Tony said immediately. Nat walked over to Tony's side of the field. Steve looked thoughtful for a moment.
"Clint." He picked.
"Bruce." Tony fired back.
"Wanda."
"Peter."
"Bucky."
"Maya."
"Carson."
"Pietro."
"Loki."
"Thor."
"Olivia." Steve finished. The two sides observed each other's selections. Of course, Tony was the one to try and poke holes in the teams.
"No fair, you got the magic users AND the Frost Giant?" Tony complained.
"Tony, school yard pick, you chose your team. Besides, you have Nat and hard hitters. It's about as even as you can get." Steve replied calmly.
"Fine. Five minutes of strategy, then it's time for battle." Tony said. Wanda handed the Team Iron Man flag to her brother before moving to join her team.
~Strategy meeting for Team Cap~
"Okay, first things first, don't be afraid to play hard. Tony is going to be ruthless and use every asset he has at any time. Which means we need to do the same. Clint, Buck, Carson, use your training to your advantage. That means using presicion aim, hard throwing, all the good stuff. Loki, Olivia, Wanda, use any magic you have at your disposal for any means. That means directing snowballs in crazy directions, creating snowballs from the stuff around us and passing them off to your teammates. Everyone needs to have each other's backs at all times. That means looking out for barrages heading towards one or two specific people. We just want to exhaust them, not knock anyone's teeth out. We fight until they surrender or we lose. The stakes are high; losing team has to handle all missions for the other team for a week except for specific exceptions. Use every asset you have. Good luck."
~Strategy meeting for Team Iron Man~
"Okay, Cap has several advantages on his side, so we need to play hardball. Tasha, use your spy training; aiming, strength, any other thing you can think of that won't kill anyone. Maya, Peter, use your wits; there are snow covered trees all over the place that are a few snowballs or web slings away from dumping their loads on their heads. Pietro, you have speed on your side, use it to your advantage. That means running and throwing snowballs at them and racing back before they can get you back. Thor, you have a strong throwing arm, use it. Knock someone off their feet or send a rocket to the stomach. Bruce, try your best, throw if you have to, make more snowballs in most cases. If the big guy wants to come out, let him, but don't let him go nuts on us. Our best bet is to try and knock out the magic users over there because they can send waves of snow in any direction and make more snowballs as they do it. Do what you have to to survive, losers have to go on all the missions for a week, the price is high. Let's do this.

The countdown began. Cap and Tony counted in unison to ensure a fair start.
"Five..."
Olivia had two snowballs in her hands as she peeked around the side of one of their walls. She had another pile in between her and Wanda that was increasing in size as Loki used his magic to make more by the second.
"Four..."
Peter and Maya had a pile of snowballs next to them that Peter reinforced by wrapping a few of them with his webs. They'd be stickier and ideally knock more snow from the tree that was right above the wall that had Cap's flag planted in it.
"Three..."
Clint saw better from a distance and he could sort of see around one of Tony's walls. He managed to spot Bruce with his back to the wall, seemingly making snowballs for his team. Clint took aim.
"Two..."
Tony wore his special glasses that had an in-development X-ray feature. He could see past the walls on Cap's side, though it was hard to see what they were doing specifically. He did notice, however, what looked like to be Olivia peeking from the side. He gestured to Nat his finding as she readied her snowball.
"One..."
Carson and Bucky piled some snowballs into Cap's shield, something he snuck outside while he and Tony were making the walls. Eventually, once they were able to head for the other team, it might come in handy for protecting the user from snowball fire...
"ATTACK!!!" Tony screamed as the first snowballs were thrown. A few hit Bruce on the arm and top of the head thanks to Clint. Olivia got one courtesy of Nat square in the face as she threw one of hers aiming for Thor. She wound up missing as her aim was awful. Tony threw one that just barely nicked the top of one of Cap's walls, causing it to burst before it could do damage.
"Carson, I have an idea." Bucky said. Carson nodded as he threw a snowball at Nat, it barely missing her arm before she dodged out of the way. Bucky carefully removed his metal arm (thanks to Tony, there was a specific joint he could remove it at if it needed maintenace and whatnot) and loaded a snowball into it's hand. He passed it off to Carson, who looked confused for a second.
"Use it like one of those tennis ball throwers for dogs. It will get aim and catch them off guard." Bucky explained. Carson nodded and threw the arm forward, letting the ball fly out. It sailed until it hit Peter on the head. The pair shared a high five before Bucky took the arm back.
Peter, after getting a snowball to the head, started aiming using his web snowballs for the snow covered tree. Maya picked up a pair of the snowballs, ready to aim...
... Until the tree above them gave out and the snow landed in waves over their heads. There was so much that most of their bodies were covered. Maya poked her head out and spotted Wanda high fiving Clint. She must have caused the tree to give out. Tony did say to take out the magic users. Maya thought before she put her head back down.
Suddenly, Peter offered her a hand to help her up. She took it and stood up.
"Hey, Maya, watch this." He said. He picked up about five snowballs in his arms and...
Started throwing them at Thor?
Maya and Thor looked at Peter in bewilderment, surley he knew he was supposed to aim at the other team? Thor tried to shake the snow out of his hair as Peter shoved a few more snowballs down the back of Thor's jacket. Peter then picked up as many snowballs as his arms could carry and started heading for Team Cap's side. Maya was utterly confused. She then felt something kick her leg. She looked down and saw...
Peter trying to get out of the snowbank? Maya looked back at the other Peter and...
... Saw him transform back into Loki, his arms full of their snowballs behind his defenses.
"Goddamn it, now we're low on Ammo." Tony groaned. "What did I tell you guys?"
"Aim for the magic users, we know." Bruce said, frantically making more snowballs.
Olivia was trying her best to throw the snowballs at the other team. She used her magic sometimes, but it was hard to direct a snowball to a target behind a wall. She did manage to hit the top of Maya's head and get to Nat's shoulder. She was about to throw another ball before it disappeared from her grasp. Confused, she took another one, before it vanished, too. She turned around to see Pietro with Cap's shield full of snowballs. He chucked them at her fave and body with great speed until he was out of snowballs to throw. He grinned at her before dropping the shield at her feet and speeding away.
A lot of the snow she had been hit with got under her clothes and started to make her feel freezing, bordering on numbing. Her face hurt too from the impact. She collapsed over onto her back. Loki and Wanda stood over her with concern in their features.
"Mayday, Mayday, I've been hit." Olivia said, smiling at her own overdramatic-ness. "Avenge... Me... Get... Pietro..." She said, before rolling over to hide in the bushes, where they designated to be their 'Out' area.
"Your sacrifice will not be in vain." Wanda said, smiling with a mock salute.
"Guys! Livvy's out!" Tony said excitedly, pointing to the bushes where she was now sheltered.
"No need to thank me." Pietro said, tossing a snowball up and down in his hand. Suddenly, a red haze surrounded him and started to pick him up. He was carried over and placed in the tree nearby. "WANDA!!" he screamed.
"So what, just come down." Nat said.
"No... I'm... Scared of heights and Wanda knows this. Don't ask, childhood stuff. But now I am out." Pietro said, leaning back against the high tree trunk, though he was gripping the branches next to him as if he might fall.
"Shit. Well, now-" Tony started but then Thor was surrounded by a circle of Loki copies, each with two snowballs in their hands. Thor began running in circles, passing through the copies over and over again in hopes that one might be the real Loki. He did this for several minutes until Thor got dizzy, lost his balance and fell down. He showed no signs of getting up anytime soon.
"Now Thor's incapacitated. Great." Maya said.

Minute after minute passed as more and more people got out. Eventually, it was down to none other than Cap and Tony, facing off in the middle of the field. There was near silence as the two men stared each other down.
"We can end this now and declare a tie." Cap offered.
"Not a chance, Capsicle. I'm seeing it through to the end. If you're tired, then surrender." Tony snarked. There was more tense silence. Tony was so focused on Cap that he failed to notice the large pile of snow floating above his head surrounded by a red haze.
It crashed down onto his head and completely buried him in it's mass. Tony poked his head out of the top of the Snowmass.
"What the hell?" He asked. He looked to Wanda, who just innocently waved back at him. He groaned and rested his head down.
"Surrender?" Cap asked. Tony sighed.
"Fine." He said. "But you cheated, Wanda was out."
"In war, cheaters win!" Wanda called back. The team let out a cheer as Clint waved the team flag around as they paraded back into the Tower.
"Have fun on the missions!" Carson called back.
"WANDA, YOU GET BACK HERE AND GET ME OUT OF THIS DAMN TREE!" Pietro screamed after his sister.
