💛✨💧 Across the Stars (Part 2)
Sunset had started to fall over the deserts of Tatooine, casting a warm glow over the sands and rock formations on the planet. Loki continued riding on his borrowed speeder through the varied strata of the land, determined to find his mother. He caught a few native junk traders known as Jawas just as twilight had fallen. They knew the land well and they knew where the Raiders made their camp. Loki thanked them for their help before speeding off again.
Once night had fully fallen and the moons shone clear in the sky, Loki found the camp the Jawa had told him about. It was in a clearing a short while away from the cliff he had parked on. It was a small camp, only maybe 25 huts, each one illuminated by firelight.
Loki leapt down off of the cliff, using the Force to slow his fall. Carefully, he crept around the camp, trying to use his senses to find which hut contained his mother. Finally when he passed a particularly large hut, he could sense her. Walking around the back, Loki ignited his lightsaber and cut an entrance through the hide walls. He kicked the section of hide through and stepped inside.
Sure enough, there was Frigga. She was tied to a pole with leather straps, covered in bleeding scratches and cuts. Her hair was a mess, as were her clothes. She was breathing, but her eyes were shut. Frantic, Loki went over and started to carefully untie her wrists from the wood bar.
"Mother? Mother?" Loki asked, hoping to get a response from her. He pulled her down and cradled her body in his arms.
"Loki? Is it you?" Frigga whispered weakly.
"I'm here, Mother. You're safe."
"Loki? Oh, you look so handsome." Frigga weakly reached up with one of her hands to rest it on Loki's face. "My son. Oh, my grown-up son. I'm so proud of you, Loki."
"I missed you." Loki said, tears streaking down his face. His mother was fading. Her signature in the Force was flickering.
"Now I am complete. I love y--" Frigga wheezed.
"Stay with me, Mother. Everything--"
"I love... I... I love..."
Frigga's head fell back as her eyes glassed over. Her breathing ceased as Loki sensed her signature flicker out for good. He looked at her for a moment before shutting her eyes with his hand. It made it look like she was sleeping. Emotion crashed over Loki in waves. Sadness... Pain... Rage. His mother was dead and it was because of the Raiders outside. They kidnapped her, they tortured her, and they killed her. Killed his mother.
Loki's expression changed to that of enraged determination. He gently laid his mother's body down before storming out of the hut. He ignited his lightsaber and proceeded to decapitate the two Raider guards sitting outside. The rest of the Raiders either hit or prepared to attack. The first one to get even close to Loki was cut down fast enough.
They would all pay for what they did to his mother, and it wasn't going to be pretty.

The Next Morning
Loki arrived early on the speeder, his mother's body wrapped in blankets with him. Olivia, Bruce, Jean, and Odin all clambored out of the homestead to greet him. It wasn't a relieved or joyous reunion, rather, as soon as they realized that Loki was carrying his mother's body, a chill seemed to hang over the hot desert air.
Loki went down to the workshop while the family prepared for a makeshift memorial service for Frigga. Olivia, dressed in comfortable desert clothing, followed Loki with some food and blue milk.
"I brought you something." Olivia said, offering Loki the tray. "Are you hungry?"
Loki didn't look up from the machine part he was busy fixing.
"The shifter broke." He said with a hoarse voice from crying. It didn't really answer the question. "Life seems so much simpler when you're fixing things. I'm good at fixing things, always was. But I couldn't--"
Loki finally looked up at Olivia after she placed the tray on the table.
"Why'd she have to die? Why couldn't I save her? I know I could have!" He snapped before going to the back of the room for more tools, not facing Olivia.
"Sometimes there are things no one can fix. You're not all-powerful, Loki-" she said calmly.
"Well, I should be! Someday I will be. I will be the most powerful Jedi ever. I promise you." He turned to face Olivia with tears forming in his eyes. "I will even learn to stop people from dying."
"Loki..."
"It's all Thor's fault! He's jealous! He's holding me back!" Loki threw a bolt at a nearby wall with a clatter.
"What's wrong, Loki?" Olivia asked, genuinely worried.
"I... I killed them. I killed them all. They're dead. Every single one of them. And not just the men, but the women. And the children, too." Loki was talking about the Raiders. It didn't make it any less alarming for Olivia. "They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals. I hate them!"
Loki slid down the side of the work bench and rested his head in his hands. Against her better judgement, Olivia sat down next to him.
"To be angry is to be human." She said. Loki vigorously shook his head.
"I'm a Jedi. I know I'm better than this." He said, before finally breaking down into sobs. Olivia soothingly stroked his hair as he did so, hoping to maybe help him feel a little better.
***
Not too long after, there was a small service outside of the homestead. All five of them, plus Threepio, observed the plain headstone where Frigga had been laid to rest.
"I know wherever you are, it's become a better place." Odin continued his eulogy. "You were the most loving partner a man could ever have. Goodbye, my darling wife. And thank you."
Loki stepped forward slightly away from everyone, but closer to his mother's grave. He slumped to his knees in front of it and traced his finger through the sand.
"I wasn't strong enough to save you, Mother. I wasn't strong enough. But I promise I won't fail again." He stood up. "I miss you... So much."
Artoo rolled over to them from Olivia's ship with a few urgent beeps.
"Artoo? What are you doing here?" Olivia asked, turning to the blue and white droid. He beeped a few times in response.
"It seems that he is carrying a message from a Thor Kenobi. Master Loki, does that name mean anything to you?" Threepio translated.
***
Olivia's Ship
"Loki, my long range transmitter has been knocked out. Retransmit this message to Coruscant." Thor's hazy blue figure was saying. Olivia turned to the control panel and hit a few buttons to oblige the request. "I have tracked the bounty hunter, Norman Fett, to the droid factories on Geonosis. The Trade Fedaration is to take delivery of a droid army here, and it is clear that Viceroy Gunray is behind the assassination attempts of Senator Amidala. The Commerce Guilds and the Corporate Alliance have both pledged their armies to Count Beck and are forming a-- Wait. Wait"
Thor abruptly cut himself off as he was forced to draw his lightsaber and fend of a pair of Droidikas, rolling attack droids with almost impenetrable shields around them. The transmission cut off after that. The Jedi Council picked up the transmission to speak with the Jedi and Senator directly.
"Loki, we will deal with Count Beck. The most important thing for you is to stay where you are. Protect the Senator at all costs. That is your first priority." Master Fury said firmly. Loki hid a sigh.
"Understood, Master." He replied as the transmission ended.
"They'll never get there in time to save him. They have to come halfway across the galaxy. Look." Olivia said worriedly as she pressed a button to summon a star map on the display screen. "Geonosis is less than a parsec away."
"If he's still alive." Loki said.
"Loki, are you just gonna sit there and let him die? He's your friend, your mentor, your--"
"He's like my brother! But you heard Master Fury. He gave me strict orders to stay here!"
"He gave you strict orders to protect me. And I'm going to help Thor." Olivia said firmly. She started to boot up the ship to fly. "If you're going to protect me, you'll just have to come along."
Loki smiled at her as he sat in the co-pilot's seat next to Olivia.
"I'm not worried, Artoo. It's just I've never flown before." Threepio said worridly as he also sat down in a passenger's seat. The ship blew sand everywhere as it lifted off the ground and out into the vastness of space.
***
Geonosis
Exiting hyperspace, Olivia's ship got the full view of the ringed red and yellow planet of Geonosis. They broke through the atmosphere and flew low through canyons and fields of rock and sand, tall spire-like structures jutting out towards the sky.
"See those columns of steam straight ahead? They're exhaust vents of some kind." Olivia said.
"That'll do." Loki decided, taking the controls and flying them inside one of the vents. As they started landing, the pair got out of their seats.
"Look, whatever happens out there, follow my lead. I'm not interested in getting into a war here. As a member of the Senate, maybe I can find a diplomatic solution to this mess." Olivia said, shrugging on a large, white scarf/cape over her also white body suit.
"Don't worry. I've given up trying to argue with you." Loki said as he followed her out of the ship. They walked along a narrow bridge that was covered by steam. It was difficult to see a few feet ahead of them. Once they found a doorway, Loki hit a button to open it up. Cautiously, they ducked under it to get inside. The door shut behind them with a hiss.
They entered a long hallway that contained a mixture of metal for the floor, and carved rock for the walls. And there were buzzing sounds. Faint, but distinct. Loki and Olivia stopped walking for a moment.
"Wait." Loki said, before something squeaked loudly behind them. A somewhat human sized bug like alien and several of it's friends had come out of the walls. Loki drew his lightsaber and started cutting them down once they moved in to attack. Olivia ran forward to reach the slowly opening door at the end of the hall. Loki followed her while still covering their flanks.
The other side of the door led to a short walkway that barely had room for two people to stand on it. Surrounding them was a very large factory that seemed to be making hundreds of droids. Just like Thor had reported.
The door shut behind them as the walkway started to slide back in the wall. Loki grabbed hold of a bar on the wall, but Olivia fell to the assembly line below.
"Olivia!" He called before jumping after her. This first assembly line had white hot bricks of metal being pounded down and welded. Loki cut down any stray bug creatures once they started coming down to attack from their various areas close to the conveyor belt. They had blasters that fired weird green orbs of energy.
Olivia was faced with a press that covered the entire conveyor belt. That meant that if she wasn't fast enough, she would certainly be crushes. Timing it just right, she slid through only to be greeted with another press. She attempted to double backwards to give herself a few seconds so she could pass under safely. The ever moving line made that difficult. She passed under the second one with a yelp, then one more. There weren't any more presses that she could see, but Olivia was faced with several robotic arms that were very large and moved very fast. She used some agility to weave her way around them.
Loki cut down the last bug alien before leaping down to a different conveyor belt. This one just had several welding arms that proved to be interesting obstacles. He quickly cut through any arms that got too close as he made his way down the belt.
Olivia was mostly in the clear until one of the bug creatures started wrestling with her until it pushed her off of the conveyor belt. She landed in a large cauldron like bowl that was too high for her to jump and climb out. She felt herself being flown away by a droid carrying the cauldron to a destination she didn't know. But she did know her environment started to get very hot.
Back over on his conveyor belt, Loki dodged more blaster fire from the bug creatures. Eventually, he used the Force to throw several droid parts at his attackers, knocking them down. Loki lept up onto another conveyor belt, only to be met with a droid arm to the face. He fell down and one of the presser arms pressed over his saber hand, encasing it in a metal chamber. He couldn't get it out no matter how much he pulled.
Olivia frantically looked for a way out of the vat she was in, realizing that it was meant to hold molten hot metal. If she didn't find a way out, she would surely be killed.
Loki twisted his arm in hopes to pull it free, but welding droids only made it harder to do so. He turned around and saw a bunch of large knives chopping up and down. It only fueled his need to escape.
Olivia desperately started to try and climb out of the vat. The nozzle that let out the molten metal was right over her head. The nozzle opened and Olivia tried to stop her heartbeat as she accepted the inevitable.
But it never came.
The nozzle closed up and Olivia took a breath of relief. The vat fell out of the carrier droid's grasp and crashed to the floor below. It tipped over allowing Olivia to roll out and escape.
Once the choppers got too close for comfort, Loki figured if he timed it right, he may only lose a few fingers, which was better than losing his life. He precisely expanded and contracted his body so he missed the choppers and they only nicked the metal casing around his hand with an electric sizzle. He was finally able to pull his hand free and immediately stood up. He went for the button on his lightsaber, but it didn't ignite. The choppers had sliced it clean in half, which caused the sizzling noise. Loki sighed.
"Not again. Thor's gonna kill me." He groaned.
A huge hoard of bug creatures surrounded Olivia, and she couldn't do anything about it. She had no weapon.
A handful of Droidikas surrounded Loki, followed by a figure wearing a jetpack. Norman Fett, the bounty hunter Thor had been tracking.
"Don't move, Jedi." He ordered before turning to one of the Droidikas. "Take him away."

Geonosis Arena
It was tradition for the Geonosians to take prisoners to an arena for their death sentences. They were chained to tall poles while various horrific creatures murdered them in gruesome ways. It was considered entertainment and it was sick. Disgusting, even.
Loki and Olivia were about to meet the same fate as so many others in the past. They were handcuffed and stood inside of a chariot that would lead them outside to be bound to their poles.
"Don't be afraid." Loki told her, trying to sound empathetic.
"I'm not afraid to die." Olivia replied, looking at him grimly. "I've been dying a little bit each day since you came back into my life."
"What are you talking about?"
"I love you."
"You love me? I thought we had decided to not fall in love. That we would be forced to live a lie... And that it would destroy our lives."
"I think our lives are about to be destroyed anyways. I truly, deeply love you, and before we die, I want you to know."
They finally leaned in and kissed each other deeply. There was no hesitancy on either side, but there was emotion. It was probably the last kiss they'd ever share. They separated once the chariot started to move forward, rolling out into the blinding sunlight and the roaring cheers from the crowd. To neither of their surprise, Thor was already chained up to one of the four poles in the middle of the arena. He watched the pair as they were forced out of the chariot and led to two other poles.
Olivia was brought two poles away from Thor, but no one noticed her secretly pull a lock pick from her utility belt. She stuck it between her teeth before her hands were raised above her head and chained at the top of the pole.
Loki was led to the pole between Thor and Olivia.
"I was beginning to wonder if you'd got my message." Thor said.
"I retransmitted it just as you requested, Master." Loki said. "Then we decided to come and rescue you."
Thor looked up at his hands chained above his head. "Good job." He said sarcastically as Loki's arms were raised and chained. Loki rolled his eyes in response.
The crowd went silent as what could be presumed as the Geonosian leader spoke to the crowd in a language none of the three could understand. Though, eventually the crowds roared to life again as the first of three gates opened.
The first killer creature was a hideous cow-like monster with three horns on its face called a Reek. It roared loudly to the delight of the crowd.
The second gate opened to reveal a six legged scorpion like creature covered in green scales called an Acklay. It shrieked loudly as one of it's handlers poked it with an electric staff.
The last creature practically lept out of it's confines. It was a creature that seemed like a cat with a rat's tail called a Nexu. It seemed to wear a permanent smile full of sharp teeth each about a foot long that it used to eat one of it's handlers.
"I've got a bad feeling about this." Loki said while neither he, nor Thor noticed Olivia picking the lock on her handcuffs. She pulled her hands free and started to climb up her pole.
"Just relax, concentrate." Thor advised.
"What about Olivia?"
"She seems to be on top of things."
The pair finally noticed Olivia sitting atop her pole and gathering her chains in her arms.
The Acklay finally reached Thor and started stabbing at him with it's pincer like claws. One of the jabs broke the chain binding Thor and he could move around, though his hands were still stuck together. He narrowly avoided the Acklay jabbing down at him repeatedly.
The Reek charged for Loki, but just before it could impale him on one of it's horns, Loki lept up and sat on it's back. He looped the little slack on the chains around it's face and caused the chains to break off of the pole to make makeshift reins.
That only left the Nexu to go after Olivia. It used it's claws to climb up the rock pole. Olivia used her chains to whip down on the Nexu's face. It recoiled only momentarily before viciously scratching her back, ripping her body suit and drawing blood. She screamed in pain as the Nexu climbed back down to prowl around the bottom of the pole.
Thor continued rolling as to avoid being speared by the Acklay. Nearby, Loki had fallen off of the Reek and was now being dragged through the sand while continuing to hold onto the reins. The Nexu tried to climb back up the pole, but Olivia held tight to the reins and swung downwards, kicking the Nexu in the stomach. It fell to the ground before standing back up, dazed and hurt. Olivia climbed back up to the top of her pole, effectively her safe zone.
The Acklay rammed into Thor's pole leading it to break into two pieces and collapse. Thor managed to role out of the way in time, but the threat was still imminent. He took one of the shock prods from one of the handlers to use as a weapon.
Loki, on the other hand, finally got the Reek to stop and slowly walked towards it with his hand extended. He hoped it would establish trust between the two. Loki then lept back up onto it's back and re-reined it so he could more properly ride it. It bucked around a few times before calming down and charging. The Reek managed to crash into and kill the Nexu still prowling around Olivia.
"Jump!" He called. Nervously, Olivia stood up straight before leaping down to sit behind Loki on the Reek. She kissed his cheek as Loki goaded the creature to keep going.
Thor managed to throw his spear into the shoulder of the Acklay, it sticking inside like a javelin. Unfortunately, the green monster yanked it out by the teeth and bit down, breaking it in two. Now without a weapon, Thor climbed behind Olivia on the Reek only to be met with another obstacle.
From every single one of the gates, Droidikas rolled out to surround the Reek and the three companions, cutting off an escape route.
Suddenly, green and blue beams of light started to emerge from the crowd. The Geonosians started to fly out of the arena to leave the Jedi reinforcements to help the three companions. Up in the "VIP" box where the Geonosian leader, Count Beck, the Viceroy, as well as Norman and his son known as Harry, a purple lightsaber also shone. That one belonged to Master Fury.
All the Jedi started to leap down onto the arena field just as Fury did to avoid blaster fire and actual fire. B1 version Battle Droids startes pouring in through the gates as the Jedi started to attack back at them, deflecting blaster fire back at the droids. They eventually collided and a full scale battle had begun.
Two Jedi tossed Thor and Loki replacement lightsabers to defend themselves with, Loki with a blue one and Thor with a green one. Loki used his to break Thor's cuffs just as the Geonosians brought in large plasma canons. It caused the three of them to get knocked off the Reek. Olivia found a dropped blaster from one of the fallen Battle Droids and started firing away at them. She hit the handler pulling one of the chariots and climbed onto the alien pulling it. Olivia rode on it as she fired around at things that looked like Droids and things that looked like bugs. Loki climbed into the back of the chariot itself and started cutting down droids from there.
The battle was turning into a nightmare as droid, alien, and Jedi alike all fought and fell. Norman Fett shot and killed the Reek, only to be decapitated himself by Fury. Still, waves upon waves of Battle Droids, Super Battle Droids, and Droidikas entered the arena, replacing their fallen counterparts. One plasma blast knocked Olivia and Loki's chariot to it's side. They scrambled into it for cover.
"You call this a diplomatic solution?" Loki asked.
"No, I call it aggressive negotiations." Olivia replied with a smile.
Nearby, Thor was once again faced with the Acklay, the last execution creature still standing. It towered over him, but he sliced off two of it's legs so it would lose it's balance. Once it hit the ground, Thor stabbed it through it's shell, killing it.
Eventually, Thor, Loki, Olivia, and the few remaining Jedi still alive (maybe about 20 compared to the hundreds that had arrived originally) were completely surrounded by thousands of droids in the center of the arena.
Then, the droids suddenly stopped firing. They went into defensive mode as the arena went quiet. The remaining survivors all turned their heads to Count Beck in the VIP box.
"Master Fury, you have fought gallantly. Worthy of recognition in the archives of the Jedi Order. Now, it is finished. Surrender and your lives will be spared." Beck said.
"We will not be hostages to be bartered, Beck." Fury replied boldly.
"Then, I'm sorry, old friend."
All the droids went back into attack mode, raising their blasters at the few survivors. The Jedi readied their weapons in preparation for a battle to the end.
"Look!" Olivia said, looking up at the sky. Sure enough, huge cavalry ships arrived on the scene, each one full of clones from the Kaminoans that Thor had spoken to on his investigation. In one of the ships was Valkyrie, who stood amongst the clones. She was the one who brought them there. The droids of course started blasting away, but the Jedi and the ships deflected and returned their fire.
The ships touched down and started letting off clones to return the blaster fire more aggressively. The remaining Jedi got onto the ships the clones abandoned. Thor, Olivia, and Loki all claimed one as the rest of the Jedi got in others. The clones all got back onto the ships as they flew back up again and out of the arena.
The gunships were flanked by huge command ships that presumably held even more clone soldiers. Once they turned a corner, they were met with a battlefield full of droid batallions and command ships.
"Hold on!" Thor called as the ride started to get rocky. Olivia, Loki, and the clones all took hold of the hand grips to keep their balance. The droid command centers started to fire at the approaching clone army.
"Aim right above the fuel cells." Loki told the gunner on the ship. He obliged and shot where Loki had told him to. The tower exploded and collapsed onto a large batallion of droids.
"Good call, my young Padawan!" Thor praised. They watched some gunships touch down on a large battlefield and start to fire on the droid armada, clones and Jedi alike charging for the droids. "Attack those Fedaration starships, quickly!"
The clone gunner obliged, firing several rockets to one of the spherical starships starting to rise for takeoff. It exploded promptly after. They had to maneuver through the dust cloud the crash back to the ground had created, only able to see the blue and red colors of the blaster fire. Once the dust had cleared, Thor spotted something.
"Look over there!" He pointed in front of them.
"It's Beck. Shoot him down!" Loki ordered.
"We're out of rockets, sir." The clone pilot replied.
"Follow him!"
"We're gonna need some help!" Olivia said.
"There isn't time. Loki and I can handle this." Thor replied. In front of them, Beck signaled for his guard droids flanking him on his speeder to double back and start shooting at the gunship. Most shots missed, but one collided with the back, knocking Olivia and one clone out from it. She yelped as she fell down.
"Olivia!" Loki called after her as she hit and rolled in the sands below, unconscious. "Put the ship down!"
"Loki! Don't let your personal feelings get in the way!" Thor chastised before turning to the pilot. "Follow that speeder!"
"Lower the ship!"
"I can't take Beck alone! I need you! If we catch him, we can end this war right now! We have a job to do!"
"I don't care, put the ship down!"
"You will be expelled from the Jedi Order!"
"I can't leave her!"
"Come to your senses! What do you think Olivia would do were she in your position?"
That gave Loki pause. He sighed because he knew the answer, and by that definition, that Thor was right.
"She would do her duty." He replied.
They followed Beck to a small docking bay carved out of the rock of the terrain. The guard droids followed the cruiser still, but it managed to drop Loki and Thor off on the platform. Just in time, too, for the gunship was shot down just as it started to fly off.
The pair charged inside with their sabers ignited to see Beck waiting with his personal ship ready for takeoff.
"You're gonna pay for all the Jedi you killed today, Beck." Loki said.
"We'll take him together." Thor said calmly. "Go in slowly on the left--"
"I'm taking him now!" Loki ignored Thor, charging at Beck.
"No, Loki, No, No!"
Beck simply raised a hand and expelled Force Lighting from his fingertips, a Force skill commonly used by the Dark Side. It threw Loki over to a wall, causing him to collide with it and knock him into a daze. Beck and Thor started to circle each other defensively.
"As you can see, my Jedi powers are far beyond yours." Beck said smoothly. "Now... back down."
He sent another stream of lightning in Thor's direction, but he simply deflected it with his lightsaber.
"I don't think so." Thor said. Beck drew his own lightsaber, a bright red color that all Dark Siders used. They exchanged a few blows before going back on the defensive.
"Master Kenobi, you disappoint me. Valkyrie holds you in such high esteem. Surely you can do better!" Beck taunted. They exchanged more blows as Loki started to stir.
***
Finally coming to, Olivia could feel the heat of the sun and sand on her body. She saw the clone that had fallen out with her run over.
"Are you alright?" He asked her.
"Uh-huh." Olivia replied, getting to her feet hazily.
"We'd better get back to the forward command center."
"No. No, gather what troops that you can, we've got to get to that hangar. Get a transport, hurry!" Olivia ordered.
"Right away!" The trooper obliged, as was his programming. They started to run in the direction of the troops with haste.
***
Beck and Thor continued to exchange saber strikes, each one being blocked by the other person. They held each other in a deadlock for a few seconds before Beck struck Thor in the arm, causing him to shout in pain. Then he was hit in the leg, causing him to go down, curling in pain. Beck lifted his saber to finish Thor off.
Instinctively, Loki charged from his position and blocked the blow.
"Brave of you, boy. But I would have thought you had learned your lesson." Beck said just as Thor used the Force to summon his saber.
"I am a slow learner." Loki said, just as Thor tosses him his saber so Loki now had two. For a short minute, Loki defended himself with two blades, something he trained for but didn't do very often. Beck managed to slice Thor's in half so Loki was back to one. He used it to cut a power cord on the ground so the lights in the hangar would flicker. They exchanged more strikes as the emergency power switched on.
Beck twirled his saber elaborately so that Loki was too off guard to block the blow. Beck cut clean through Loki's upper arm, severing the rest of it from his body. He yelped in pain as Beck Force-Pushed him back to lay next to Thor, both of them in pain. He powered down his lightsaber just as he heard something from around the corner.
Lo and behold, Valkyrie emerged from the depths of the hangar.
"Master Valkyrie." Beck greeted.
"Count Beck." Val replied.
"You have interfered with our affairs for the last time."
Beck raised his hand and pulled a light from off the wall. He threw it at Valkyrie, who caught it with her Force abilities and tossed it to a nearby wall. Beck did the same thing again and Valkyrie tossed it aside again. Beck turned to the ceiling, opting to bring it down onto Valkyrie's head. She again managed to stop it and threw the pieces aside.
"You have become very powerful, Beck. I sense the Dark Side in you."
"I've become more powerful than any Jedi. Even you."
Beck launched a stream of lightning at Valkyrie, but she managed to simply absorb it with a specific Force ability. She launched it back at Beck, who deflected it onto a nearby wall.
"You still have much to learn." Valkyrie said.
"It is obvious that this contest cannot be decided by our knowledge of the Force, but with our skills with a lightsaber." Beck said, drawing his blade again. Valkyrie did the same, producing a blue blade of her own. The two started duking it out, exchanging blows at a lightning speed complete with dodges and flips through the air. This went on for some time until they reached a deadlock.
"You have fought well, my old Padawan." Valkyrie said.
"This is just the beginning." Beck said, before raising a hand and causing a metal pillar to collapse. It would surely crush the still felled Thor and Loki if not for Valkyrie's Force abilities to save them. She held the pillar above them, using much of her strength to do so before tossing it aside.
Unfortunately, this provided the perfect distraction for Beck to escape. He climbed aboard his ship and flew out of the hangar.
Just outside, Olivia and her clone troops arrived just as Beck's ship blew out from a very close by doorway. They fired after him with their blasters, but couldn't hit him. He was too far away. She and her troops ran into the hangar just as Thor and Loki struggled to their feet.
"Loki!" Olivia called, running over to his albeit one armed embrace.

Naboo Lake House
If you were to ask Olivia when she was younger what she imagined her wedding would be like, she probably would have said a grand ceremony with all of her friends and family in attendance. A very public affair with lots of decorations and foods to eat and dances to be had.
Really, that couldn't have been further from reality.
It was outside with the sun setting over the lake. Olivia stood across from Loki on the same balcony where they had shared their first kiss (after Loki had complained about sand). The officiant had them exchange very basic vows to the only two witnesses, R2-D2 and C-3PO. Droids. They counted as witnesses, but really no one else could be there. It's not like they would tell anyone. Jedi weren't allowed to marry. Jedi weren't allowed to form attachments like this.
And yet, Loki and Olivia did.
They took each other's hands (one of which was Loki's new cybernetic hand to replace the one he had lost) and exchanged a very long kiss. The first one as husband and wife. Secret husband and wife at that. Secret husband and wife secretly wed at the beginning of a war. No one could know they had wed. No one could ever know.
They pulled away but still kept a hold on each other's hands. Loki and Olivia shared a warm smile as she rested her head on his shoulder. They gazed out over the sunbathed lake in the evening light.

A/N
Usually finishing a part 2 of an AU means it's done for me.
Not this time lol. Revenge of the Sith is next and by the time part 4 hits, we're gonna be rolling downhill so frickin fast....
There will be about a 4 year time jump between the movies, so that's a thing. Technically the Clone Wars animated series squeezes in between there and eventually overlaps in the final arc of the show (cries in Clone Wars finale). RotS picks up at the END-ish of the Clone Wars, where this chapter ends at the BEGINNING of the Clone Wars.
Also, for the record, Wanda is Ahsoka, okay? It may not be explicitly memtioned, but it's a thing because of a Loki/Wanda mentorship type thing that I have a headcanon for. Just throwing that out there.
Any questions you have you can ask me here :3
