I'm flying away from Greef Carga after a fight with him, and the guild over the child. I go into hyperspace and pull of a round metal piece of a lever and give it to the child to play with. I look forward for a while. I look over and see the child going to press a button.

(y/n): Don't do it

He slowly gets closer to the button.

(y/n): Don't

He pressed it. The ship started going crazy and crashed into some asteroids. It got badly damaged and then we crashed into a weird-looking portal and I passed out.

*small-time skip*

I groan as I get up I look around and there's no one around. I pick up my helmet and put it back on. I quickly look over the footage to see if anyone saw my face and no one did. A sigh of relief as I go and check on the Child he seems fine just looking at me. I pick him up and put him in his small crib and closed it. I walk over and punched a button to reveal my weapons and take them all out. I don't know if this planet is hostile. I get out of the ship and take a look around. I'm in some kind of forest my hud shows lots of lifeforms in the area. I try to use my hud to show me where I am, but it just says unknown area. Guess I'm on my own. I walk around for a while till I see a weird black creature with the white bone-like substance on their face. It's like some kind of mask and has red details along with it. It seems like a wolf-like creature. I pull out my arban rifle and look at it closer. I can't see any obvious weak points. I head past without it seeing me. I eventually found a giant city type place with a sign that says welcome to Vale. It's going to get dark soon. I need to find a place to stay. I was walking down the street and then suddenly a guy was thrown out a window. I look over to see a bunch of guys ganging up on a little girl. I look over to the child and he's reaching for the girl. I close his crib and walk over. This is the perfect time to test this planet's fighting abilities. I walk up next to the girl and get into position. One of the guys come at me and I just throw him over my shoulder. Another one comes to me with a sword. I just block the attack with my arm grabbed his sword and elbowed his face then spartan kicked him. Another one tried to shoot at me with weird bullets I just dodge them until he runs out of ammo and ran up to disarmed him and flipped him over on his face. I look over to see the girl she has already taken out 4 guys only one left. He was a weird guy with a bowler hat and a cane with a white trench coat.

???: alright red and.... you. This has been fun but I'm afraid this

He pulls up his cane and points it at us, and a little piece popped off that revealed a scope like thing.

???: is where we have to part ways

He shoots a missile-like thing at little red. I jump in front of her and take it. It was actually kind of weak.

???: thanks

I just look over and nodded.

???: are you ok if we go after them.

The old man in the shop made an approving sound and nodded. We ran up a ladder and chased him.

???: Persistent...

A ship like an aircraft flew up behind them. He jumped in and threw a red crystal thing and shot it. It exploded but we were saved by a purple force field thing. The guy ran to the cockpit and out came a woman in a red and yellow dress. She starts chucking fireballs at us. I just focus on protecting the child. Little redstarts firing at her but she just deflects it. After a bit more fighting they got away. Little red runs up to the woman who helped us.

???: you're a huntress can I get your autograph

A door slams it seems we're in some kinda interrogation room.

???: I hope that you realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly, young lady. You put yourself and others in great danger.

???: They started it!

???: If it were up to me, you'd be sent home... With a pat on the back... And a slap on the wrist. But... there is someone here who would like to meet you.

???: Ruby Rose you have silver eyes...

Ruby: uh um...

???: So! Where did you learn to do this?

He points at a screen with me and Ruby fighting guys.

Ruby: S-Signal academy

???: I see...

He puts the cookies on the table in front of Ruby. She tentatively picks one up, eats it in a single bite, and then, not seeing any rebuttal, shovels the rest into her mouth.

???: It's just that I've only seen one other scythe-wielder of that skill before. A dusty, old crow...

Ruby: (mumbles through her full mouth) Oh! That's my uncle! (she then swallows and wipes her mouth, embarrassed) Sorry. That's my Uncle Qrow! He's a teacher at Signal. I was complete garbage before he took me under his wing. And now, I'm all like- Hooowaaah! Witchaaaa!

???: So I've noticed. And what is an adorable girl such as yourself doing at a school designed to train warriors?

Ruby: Well... I want to be a Huntress.

???: You want to slay monsters?

Ruby: Yeah! I only have two more years of training left at Signal! And then I'm going to apply to Beacon! You see, my sister's starting there this year, and she's trying to become a Huntress, and I'm trying to become a Huntress 'cause I wanna help people. My parents always taught us to help others, so I thought, Hey, I might as well make a career out of it! I mean the police are alright, but Huntsmen and Huntresses are just so much more romantic and exciting and cool and really, gosh, you know!

???: Do you know who I am?

Ruby: You're Professor Ozpin. You're the headmaster at Beacon.

Ozpin: Hello.

Ruby: Nice to meet you.

Ozpin: You want to come to my school?

Ruby: More than anything.

Ozpin: Well, okay.

Ruby and the blonde woman left. I look over at Ozpin.

Ozpin: you remind me of someone. Oh well, would you like to come to my school?
