Recap: You saved Nagato from the Siren's plan to do what ever she wants to and escaped the Shrine with your dinner.

It has been two months since your encounter with Nagato, you are currently in the mainland, present day Sakura Empire. IRL Japan. You are looking for something to buy with the coins you have found in the abandoned Shrine.

Isao Namba's Thoughts: Just stay low and don't make any sudden movements that will attract unwanted attention.

You continue to walk around until you see a shop labeled Akashi's shop. You hesitantly enter the shop and see a girl with a set of ears and hair colored Turquoise, wearing glasses, a black beret, a scarf, and a coat that stops at her hips.

???: How can I help you, nya?

Isao Namba: **female voice** Do you sell any cans of rice?

???: Why yes I do nya. They are located in aisle (I had to ask my mom how to spell aisle, it's depressing) number three.

Isao Namba: **female voice** Thank you ma'am.

???: Your welcome, but please call me Akashi.

Isao Namba: Okay, thank you Akashi.

You walk over to aisle three and read each label.

Isao Namba: **examines the aisle and speaks in a female voice** Fish, dried rice, and carrots with bread. Fish, dried rice, potatoes, and beans.

Isao Namba's Thoughs: I don't plan to take a sh*- I mean a poop at night.

Mark Wayne Windle: Thank you.

Isao Namba's Thoughts: No problem author.

Isao Namba: **female voice** Dried rice. Fish and dried rice. Lets see, 20 gems or 30 Yen for a can of Fish, dried rice, and carrots with bread. I'll take it. **grabs the can**

You walk over to the counter and hand her the can.

Akashi: That will be 20 gems or 30 Yen if you have any nya.

Isao Namba: **hands her the coins found in the Shrine**

Akashi: Where did you find these nya?

Isao Namba: **female voice** The now abandoned Shrine. I saw a Siren there, I'm lucky she didn't spot me. I was just looken for food and found these and a can of dried rice two months ago.

Akashi: You are one lucky person, those Sirens used Akagi and Kaga as pawns for power nya. **hands you the can** Thank you for shopping at Akashi's, have a nice day nya.

Isao Namba: **female voice** Thank you, and you have a nice day as well my friend. **walks out of the shop**

You walk around town for a bit.

Isao Namba's Thoughts: They are nice, but where are the flags? The flags to help the war effort. Maybe this is the Sakura Empire. A nation that has risen from the ashes of our once booming, beautiful, and powerful empire. I still miss the old Empire of Japan, I knew it so well, I was a hero in their view. But now I am nothing but a man lost in the depths of time. **sighs** But the Emperor has faith in me, I will fulfill my duty, mission, and my honor for the empire and the Emperor. Not just the Emperor, but the Empress herself as well. I will protected her from the Siren scums successfully. But the Emperor has told me my mission and maybe even a key step to figuring out of my soul purpose in life.

???: Are you alright?

Isao Namba: **female voice** Huh? O-oh, y-yeah, just a bit n-nervous. I-I'm not use to p-public.

???: A shy one I see. **giggles** I understand, have a nice day.

Isao Namba: **female voice** Y-you t-to.

You continue to walk around for sometime.

Isao Namba's Thoughts: I was almost caught, banzai my comrades, I have a high chance to be caught but I have remained low. **notices the large tree** If I were the pride of an empire's fleet and a human, I would choose to use that place as a home.

You start to head over to the tree, and then go up the said stairs. Half way there, you take a short cut off of the stairs.

Isao Namba: I'm taking a short cut because hell it's quicker. But I can also enter unseen by many.

You arrive at the top and see multiple people near the base of the tree.

???: Natago-san, we have detected some Sirens near the mountain top of Akagi.

Nagato: Understood, Kaga, Akagi, please find my sister and inform her that she will be tagging along with us. I will also be joining as well.

Kaga and Akagi: Understood Nagato-san. **bows**

Isao Namba: If they come near the top, then they will find my base of operations. I have to set a trap to lure them away, my duty is a must to the Emperor. **takes his leave and heads back to the mountain**

Three hours later

You arrive at the mouth of your cave and begin to block some of it off with boulders and rocks. You also place some live vines on them and dead ones to. Making it look natural. You seal yourself within the cave and make a secret entrance. After a hour of quietly digging, you finish the secret entrance and cover it with some temporary rocks.

Isao Namba: Alright, now I need to make a more natural cover.

You set up a basic design for a cover. Made of wood, mud, and rock.

Isao Namba: The bottom layer will be made wood, the second made of mud and rock, and the top layer made of mud. It won't be strong enough to hold a human over 50 pounds but it works because it's less suspicious. The length is about two feet, and the width is about three feet.

You look for some wood and find an old and abandoned cart with barrels in it. You take the barrels first and set them inside the cave. Then you take apart the floor of the cart and slice it to the right diameter. You take some nails and hammer them in with a rock.

Isao Namba: That's the wood done and I already have the mud around me, so it shouldn't be a problem. **grabs a hand crafted shovel and strikes the ground with it**

You take the mud and mix it with some crushed rocks. Next, you smooth it down on the wooden layer and pat it down so it is uneven. (hint: Mountain Akagi is were your base is, so it makes sense to me.).  You take the remaining mud and place it on top of the mud and rock layer. Then, you look for something to use as a plant for the top. Deciding that some grass is simple.

Mean while

Nagato is currently at the bottom of the mountain waiting for Mutsu, Akagi, and Kaga to show up. Eventually, they do, and with Mutsu to.

Mutsu: Nee-san.

Nagato: Yes Mutsu-nee?

Mutsu: Nagato-nee, what is so important about the mountain of Akagi?

Nagato: I have been told that there has been some recent Siren activity near the top.

Akagi: Kaga-nee, launch your scouts with me. It would be wise to scout the mountain first.

Kaga: Understood Akagi-nee.

They launch their planes and begin to scout the area near the top. Which isn't good news for you.

Your view

Isao Namba: **pats down the mud** Perfect.

**aircraft engines**

Isao Namba: **gasps** Take cover.

You hide in some bushes underneath a tree. You hear the aircraft circle around before heading back up to scout the higher points of the mountain.

Isao Namba: That was to close. **comes out of the bushes** I need to place it, before I set up the traps to hopefully scare them off.

You grab the now finished hatch cover and bring it to the cave, making sure that it matches the pattern of the grass and rock near by as well as the shift in elevation too.

Mean while

Observer Alpha: They're here my Empress.

The Empress III: I see, and perfect timing too. Don't shoot them down just yet. We want to give them a little surprise, but we also want to make sure that our little friend has time to lay his traps down. Letting him do some work is better than us doing all of the work.

Observer Alpha: Understood my Empress.

Observer Zero: Should we engage them, it will be the cause of another failed operation my Empress.

The Empress III: I know, that is why I said don't shoot at them just yet Zero. After all, are mission is to learn more from Lady Nagato and Lady Mutsu.

Observer Alpha: What is so important about them my Empress?

The Empress III: If we can strike those two down, then we can capture them and then force the Empire of Sakura into submission.

Observer Alpha: A wise plan indeed my Empress.
