Falling time

Sahara's pov

I walked into the classroom, and saw no one was there so I just walked back to my seat. I took my cell phone out of my pocket and plugged my earbuds in. Turning my Youtube playlist on shuffle, I laid my head down on the desk.

I smiled as the first song started to play, it was a nightcore version of Control. I don't care what people say, Nightcore is awesome.

As the song progressed I tapped my foot to the beat, then I started to hum the tune. I was about to uncontrollably start singing when I heard someone talking. I looked up and took my earbuds out. There standing in front of me was Miss Irina Jelavić, a assassin that knows my family and especially my mother.

"You're Sahara Loki right?" She asked. I nodded shyly

"And you're Irina Jelavić, correct?" She nodded. "So does that mean you know my mother. She told me a story about you once." I smiled sadly.

"You're mom told you about me?" She asked a little confused.

"Yep, she said you two work on a job together. But she never really went into detail about that the job was." I lied, and she nodded.

I smiled innocently, I didn't want anyone know that I knew I was the daughter of assassins. Especially not one of my teachers.

"You know what you're mom does for a living?" She asked skeptical, I swallowed.

"She's a housewife, she used to be an actress in America but when she met my father she gave up the movie business." I lied again.

"Oh well-" She started.

"Um Irina Jelavić, may I call you miss Irina?" She looked confused. "I know what all the others call you, and... Well I'm not used to called a teacher by a name like that. So do you mind?" I asked nervously.

She turned and started to walk out, "Sure kid. It's better than what the other brats do." Miss Irina said walking out of the room.

I smiled, then put my earbud back in a waited for the rest of class to get here. I closed my eyes and just quietly hummed the melody.

"Hey, Loki." I opened my eyes and saw Karma walk into the room.

"Hey Karma. "I replied.

"Hey Loki," I pulled my earbuds out of my ears, and turn to him. "You going to try something today?" He asked, I gripped my jacket sleeve.

"Probably not, I'm almost out of liquid and my swords are still not fixed. I could do a normal attack but since I'm new at this it probably won't even be close." I sighed, while he chuckled.

"Tell me, how do you know how to use swords so well?" He asked.

"I've taken kendo since I could walk, plus my dad and some family friends are really good teaches." I said sadly looking down at my hands. "Really good." I repeated quietly.

"What?" Karma asked going to his seat next to mine. I quickly looked up and put on a fake smile.

"Nothing." I quickly said hoping he wouldn't get sceptical.

"You know you can't get too close to him or any of them." Ashley said blankly.

"I know." I told her in my head.

"They'll just hurt you." She said.

"I know." I thought to her, putting my elbows on the desk.

"You can't let them find out about us." She said.

"I know." I was getting slightly annoyed at this point, and a headache was starting to come on.

"You can't let them find out about Him."

"I know!"

"You can't let them find out about anything."

"I GOT IT ASHLEY!" I yelled out loud, at Ashley. When I realised what I had done I started freaking out because Karma was in the room with me. I turned my head over to where he was and he just looked at me. His expression was just one of confusion.

"What was that about?" He smirked, I swallowed nervously.

"No-nothing." I stuttered.

"Great, let me take over and get you out of this." I felt my eyes change to their darker color, and I knew Ashley had taken over.

"That didn't sound like nothing." He said still smirking.

"Well it was, I was just thinking out loud." My voice sounded so calm, but so distant.

When Ashley or Hana take over it's like I'm watching a movie, I can only watch and listen to what's going on.

Karma looked at me a little shock at how I sounded so distant, he looked at me like he was talking to a different person. Which he was.

"Who's Ashley?" He asked, no smirk on his face. He looked totally serious.

"An old friend, I was thinking about what she said to me and kinda thought I was there. Sorry if it bothered you."

"Whatever. " He said, as Ashley put the earbuds back in.

I could feel myself coming back into control, as my eyes shifted back to their normal color.

"Sorry. " I told Ashley.

"It's fine, just be more careful next time." She sounded exhausted, I sighed.

"This is going to be a long day." I mumbled under my breath.

Time skip

When lunch came around, I smiled as started I walked to my group of Kayano, Nagisa, and Karma. When a few girls in my class came up to me.

"Hey Sahara, do you want to eat with us?" One of them asked.

"Um..." I didn't know what to say.

"Please, we want to get to know you." Another asked.

"Hey Loki, can you help me with some of this math? I heard you were really smart and I'm not." A guy asked.

More and more people clustered around me, asking questions. I just stood in the middle not sure what to say.

"Ha," Terasaka laughed and everyone just looked at him. "Why are you all crowding around her, she's just another murderer. All of you were afraid of her, now it's like you're best friends. Don't you get it, she'll just betray you. For all we know she could be a weak little girl."

When he said that, I usually would have growled at him for the little thing. I may be short but come on.

But when he said those things memories flashed before my eyes, and one voice rang in my head.

"You're a scared, useless, weak little girl. The only reason I kept you around is because she liked you. But now it's your fault she's dead. Now be a good girl and let me see Ashley." The voice rang in my ears, his voice always hurt.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I thought of everything I've done. Then I remembered what I did to her. The room disappeared and in the middle laid her dead body, blood and bullet holes stained her once white shirt. Her hair was a dark black and her once beautiful green eyes now lifeless.

As the room came back into view, tears were already falling down my face. I ran out of room as fast as I could. I ran out the door and kept running into the forest. As I ran tears clouded my vision.

The memories of that night, what few there were, reran in my mind. I remember blacking out and seeing her dead body lay on the ground. There was nothing I could do.

I ran and ran until I got to a cliff, one tree hang off the edge. It looked so peaceful there, hanging on the edge of death. Hanging there, waiting for something to hurt it so much so it would fall. Fall and never recover.

I wiped away my tears and started to walk over to the tree. I took a step up and started to walk on it. When I got to the end of the tree, I sat down and stated at death.

"Their just hurt me." I said. Neither Ashley or Hana's voices surprisingly were not present as I stared at a drop that would kill me if I chose it to.

"I can't trust any of them, I'm all alone. A murder, a killer." A tear slid down my face.

"What I pretty spot you have there." I slowly turned around and saw Koro-Sensei. His smile seemed out of place, but also seemed to fit perfectly.

I nodded slowly just staring at him.

"But don't want to also be with your friends?" He asked, my heart felt empty.

"I'm alone, I always will be. No one can understand that." My voice sound so distant and so sad.

"You're not alone." He seemed so sincere.

"Sahara!" I heard Kayano yell.

Then I saw her and the boys come out of the woods, it was shocked they came after me. I was always taught, no one would save me. No one would come to my rescue and help me.

"Kayano, Nagisa, Karma. What are you doing?" I asked standing up on the edge of the tree.

"Making sure you don't do anything stupid, shorty." Karma smirked.

"I'm not short!" I yelled, the group smiled.

"Sahara, please Terasaka didn't know what he was talking about." Nagisa said.

"Please we understand. Come back to the class room." I could see Kayano's eyes were slightly red, slight tears. I know how that feels.

"Don't listen to that idiot." Karma said.

"You don't get it, he did know what he was talking about. I'm a murderer, I killed someone I'm never getting back. I'm scared that it might happen again. I'm sorry, I wish we could have been better friends." With that I took one step backwards and started to fall to my death.
