Two Months Later/Quinn Residence

Sal- Q has been acting odd or I guess distant would be the better term, deciding not to dwell on it I go about my daily activities.

Brian- I finally found what I've been looking for, so rushing home rather excited. "Baby!" Accidentally slamming the door shut behind me.

Sal- (Flinches) "Kitchen..." I finish washing the dishes.

Brian- Walking up behind my lover, I rest my hands on his hips. "How has your day been?" I kiss his cheek.

Sal's (Smiles and Hums) Turning the water off, I grab the hand towel to dry my hands. "My day has been quiet boring actually." I turn to face him, giving him a slightly perplexed look. "Where have you been?"

Brian- (Smiles Brightly) "I know I've been a bit distant lately..."

Sal- (Rolls Eyes and Mutters) "That's an understatement."

Brian- I give him the best puppy dog look possible. "There's a good reason, I swear!"

Sal- (Raises Eyebrow) Leaning against the counter with my arms crossed. "Just what is this reason?"

Brian- Reaching into my pocket, I hold out a black velvet box. "The reason is...the last few weeks, I've been looking for this." I pop open the lid of the box.

Sal- Inside the box is the most gorgeous ring. (Gasps) "Q is that?"

Brian- Biting my bottom lip nervously. "Salvatore Edward Anthony Vulcano..." I take a deep breath breath, slowly letting it out and continue. "My best friend. My lover. My soulmate." I pause for a moment to collect myself. "Will you marry me?"

Sal- Glancing up from where he holds out the ring, too his face. (Nods) "Yes...yes Brian Michael Quinn, I will be honored to marry you!"

Brian- Tossing the box somewhere on the kitchen counter, I slide the ring on his finger. (Smiles Happily) "God, I love you." Cupping his jaw, I kiss him passionately.

Sal- Returning the kiss, I pull away breathless. (Smiles) Taking the time to admire the ring. "What do the symbols mean?"

Brian- "The symbol is actually a Celtic Knot. In religious terms it means Trinity. For us personally it represents our Past, our Present and our Future."

Sal- (Nods) "I like the unique multi-meaning of it."

Brian- Kissing his forehead. "I thought you would."

Sal- Entwining my fingers with Brian's. "You and me..."

Brian- I dance him around our kitchen. "Against the world, Baby!"
