"Hey Alan you got a little frosting right here."

Chapter 7

Alan's POV
I walked down the street, listening to the sound of my shoes hitting the sidewalk.

James.

I needed to talk to James and fix the mess I made. I didn't mean to yell at him. I just got so fed up with him accusing me of cheating on him, especially with Austin. Of course Austin was amazing, but James was my boyfriend.

I ran the last two blocks and opened the front door. "James?" I said timidly as I entered the house.

I got no answer so I walked further into the house. He wasn't downstairs so I went up to our room where I found him sitting on the bed.

"James." I say quietly.
He looks up at me and came over wrapping his arms around me. I stand still. I wasn't expecting this. It scared me to say the least.

"Alan your right you can have friends." He said letting me go and looking at me. "But I don't like Austin he likes you. Have all the friends you want, just don't be around Austin a lot." He kissed my lips softly and left the room.

I was left shocked. I was expecting him to scream and I was certainly expecting to be walking away with a couple bruises. I stood in the same spot a few minutes expecting James to come back in the room.

When he didn't come back I walked down the stairs. James was slipping on his shoes. He walked over to me and placed a gentle kiss on my lips, he pulled away and smiled at me. "Come on we're already late."

He grabbed his keys out of the bowl on the table. "Alan are to okay?" He said looking at me quizzically.

Was I? I was more confused. Maybe James was sorry the last time. "Nothing." I said smiling and moving from my spot. I followed him to the car and James walked me to my first class.

"Ashby where were you?" Mr. Mathews said as I walked in.
"I woke up late."
"Okay then." That was all he said before going back to writing notes on the board.

I made my way over to all of the guys and sat down. They all stared at me not saying a word.

"Alan what did James do?" Kellin said breaking the silence.
"Nothing."
"Don't lie to me."
"No Kellin listen to me. He did nothing. Absolutely nothing. He didn't even yell." A smile was brought to my face. "Kells he didn't get mad at me! See I told you he was great. Maybe he really has realized he was wrong."

"Alan as you sure?"
"I'm absolutely positive." They all sat quietly.
"Well that's good then." Kellin said with an uneasy smile on his face. "Now take notes and learn young children."

I pulled out my binder and stared writing.
I glanced over at Austin. The only downside to this whole thing was that James wanted me to stay away from Austin. I didn't think I could tho. There was something about him.

"So do I get a question today?" Austin said not taking his eyes from his paper.
"Uh huh." I nodded.
"Nickelodeon or Disney?"
"Nickelodeon."

"WHAT?!?! WHY?!?!" Ausitn screamed jumping up from his seat. The entire class looked at him. He sat back down and muttered a sorry.

"Your crazy Austin." I said and laughed.
"No your the crazy one. Do you know how many princesses there are?" He said and scoffed. "What do ya like Doug. Salute your shorts. You say I'm the crazy one."

I laughed again. "Yes you are."
"Your head needs to be checked." Austin said smiling at me. "Your coming back to my place after classes are over and we're watching a bunch of Disney Princess movies. You have no say in the matter."

"What if I don't want to?"
"I'll kidnap you. Like I said you have no say in the matter."
"Fine." I said.
Austin smiled once more and returned to taking notes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Just make yourself at home. I'm pretty sure we are the only ones here. Tino may be here later I have no clue." Austin said as we walked into the apartment.
"Now we can either watch Disney Princess movies in the living room or my room. Choose now or forever hold your breathe."
"Ummm I don't know."
"Fine my room it is. First snacks." He walked to the kitchen and I followed. My eyes widened at the amount of junk food he was piling into his arms.
"Umm Austin, I'm not really hungry."
"Alan you have to be you didn't eat lunch today." He said worry in his eyes.
"Trust me I'm not."
"Your eating something." He says and ends the conversation.
I follow him up to his room. He lays the snacks down on his bed and walks over to a set of drawers. He pulled out two pairs of sweatpants and threw a pair to me.
"I don't think you wanna stay in skinny jeans this whole time. Sweatpants are more comfortable."
"Turn around." He does as I say and I pull off my jeans replacing them with the sweatpants. I folded my jeans and laid them on top of my back pack.
"Okay you can turn around now."
"Aww you look adorable." I blush and walk over to his bed sitting down.
"Now for the movies. Let's start off with The Little Mermaid." He popped a disc into the player and took a seat beside me on the bed.
He grabbed a bag of chips opening them and taking a handful out to eat.
"Open." He said holding a chip in front of my mouth. I laughed but opened my mouth anyway.
That's what we did through the whole movie. Austin ate and gave me a bite every now and then. Austin mouthed the whole movie and sighed when it was over. He then got up and put in another.
"Austin do we have to watch another Princess movie?"
"Yes we do Alan. You have to learn that Disney is waaaayyyyy better than Nickelodeon."
"Fine but i have work to do for my math class."
I pulled out my notebook and pencil along with my trusty dusty calculator.
"That one is 5." Austin said from beside of me.
"Huh?"
"That answer is 5."
"How did you?" The problem was incredibly long and I hadn't even got half way through it.
"It simple really." Austin moved to where he was sitting in front of me Indian style.
He explained how to do the problem and it immediately made so much sense. I felt stupid for not getting through it faster.
"Are you like a math wizard or something?" I said with a laugh as I started the next problem.
"Nahh I just I don't know really."
"Haha well you definitely are."
"Whatever. That ones 29."
"Austin quit. I kinda have to learn how to do this on my own."
He reached over and took my notebook and pencil from my hand.
"But if I do it for you we can hang out more."
"Austin." I whined.
"Alan." He said mocking me.
"Fine I'll do it later. Give it here."
"Okay good. Now what to do." He said putting a finger to his chin.
"What happened to Disney Movies?"
"You've lost interest. I've gotta keep you interested or you'll leave."
"Austin I'm not gonna leave. I said we would hang out so we're going to."
"I've got it!" He said throwing his hands up in the air.
"Haha what is it?"
"Let's make a cake."
"Make a cake? Austin can you cook? I mean I can cook I just can't bake for the life of me."
"We can figure it out come on." He grabbed my hand pulling me up and leading me to the kitchen. He pulled out a box of cake mix and the other ingredients listed on the back of the box.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Austin I am covered in cake batter and frosting." I said dipping my finger in the frosting and smearing it on his cheek.

"Alan!" He said and done the same to me.
"Not only are we now both covered in frosting but you just had to draw a dick on the cake didn't you."

"Yes it was very necessary." He said. I looked down at the cake. We had made a chocolate cake and Austin being the person he is had drew a giant purple penis on the cake. He laughed.

"Hey Alan you got a little frosting right here." The next thing I knew Austin's hands were cupping my face and his lips were on mine. Without a second thought I kissed back. Austin moved his hands from my face and wrapped them around my waist, pulling me closer. I tangled one of my hands in his hair and the other rested on the back of his neck.

I pulled away from the kiss and Austin rested his forehead against mine. My hand was still tangled in his hair and he was still holding me close.

"Austin..." I said trailing off. I realized what I had just done. I had kissed Austin. I had a boyfriend but I had kissed Austin. Did I like the kiss? Yes I did. It was full was desire and passion. Something I hadn't felt between me and James in a long time.
It was wrong. As much as I liked it, it was still wrong.

"Austin I can't."
He closed his eyes, he gently pulled me closer. "Alan I know."
"I have James and we-"
"Yea yea I know. You love each other." He said pulling away from me completely.

"That's not what I was going to say." I said and Austin looked up hopeful.
"We are going through a rough patch. But at one point I loved James without questioning it. I may be questioning it now, but that doesn't mean we still don't have feelings for each other."
"Alan he's not good for you. I can't stand the thought of you being with someone who hurt you." He grabbed my hand and laced are fingers together and I didn't stop him.

"Austin that's none of your business. Now I need to go."
"Wait, did I totally mess everything up between us?"
I laughed "No you didn't." In no way shape or form did he mess anything up between us. If anything he made me more confused. On one hand I had James and the other I had Austin. It seemed as if Austin was slowly making me question everything.
