The year is 1284, but they are going to speak the English of our time because this is pre-Elizabethan English and I don't even want to know how they spoke before that. 

This story was inspired by (I can't believe I'm actually saying this) something a friend of mine sent me on Pinterest about writing heroes into villains. Not many people actually know of the Pied Piper as far as I'm aware of so I'm sticking with the original or not still haven't decided yet.  

Things that may be of use  to you

Piped Piper was called this because he was wearing multi-colored clothing hence the pied part, Piper is because he played the flute or the pipe as it was known back then.

If you see this 

Do not worry it's just something I'm testing out as a divider. It's supposed to be a wooden flute because the Pied Piper played the flute and it's wooden because (it's easier to draw) he probably had a wooden one.
