Advantage

Solus led them down the ship's main corridor to her room.

"You know," Galactron said, "you could have just told us we were coming here."

"We could've teleported here and we wouldn't have wasted energy getting here!" Galactia said rather irritated.

Solus didn't really care, instead she smiled and said in her defense, "I know, but you wouldn't have known what I was going to show you."

"Well, what is there to see?" Galactus asked throwing his arms in the air getting impatient.

"This is your room, Solus. We designed it," Galactica said trying to remain calm, but was obviously irritated.

Solus still smiled and pointed her forge towards a hole which the Makers assumed she made. It fit perfectly and then the wall started moving. An opening was made which showed a room full of...

"WEapOnS?!" The Makers exclaimed together.

"No wonder we kept picking up a breach in the system," Galactica said excepting the fact that Solus must've done this behind their backs. This room had shelves for weapons, tables for weapons and displays for weapons. The funny thing was: there were only eight weapons visible to them.

"How could you do this?!" Galactus asked.

"We don't make weapons!" Galactron said angrily.

"What does it matter?" Solus asked. "We were going to make weapons anyway."

"Yes, we understand that, but you were making weapons before we decided to make weapons!" Galactia exclaimed.

"Well, now it's saving time," Solus said while she was looking for something.

"Oh yeah. It saves time. Awesome," Galactus said with sarcasm, letting anger show on purpose, then he shouted, "WHY WERE YOU MAKING WEAPONS IN THE FIRST PLACE?!!!"

"Relax, I just started making 'em 'cause I am really interested in weapons of war," Solus explained looking at Megatronus and they both blushed a little.

"Ok, very interesting," Galactia rolled her eyes.

"STOP FLIRTING!" Galactus demanded.

"Back to the business of weapons," Galactron said.

"What did you make, Solus?" Galactica asked.

Solus pressed a button and the eight weapons appeared on the biggest table. There were blasters, swords, and other things that even confused the Makers.
"Ta-da!" Solus showed the weapons she made. She was so proud of herself.

"Ok," the Makers started, trying not to sound confused with what's going on. "We assume that you didn't think about all the Primes, since there are only eight of them."

"Well actually, I never had time to make for everyone and I didn't consider making weapons for everyone," Solus said and then started introducing her weapons:

"First, let me start with the more interesting weapons:
"Apex armour: practically makes you invincible, can fit any size, gives you super strength, almost impenetrable.
(Solus showed a pentagonal shaped piece of metal with a blue circle in the middle)
"Phase shifter: can change your atomical structure, allows you to move through any and all matter, can even be adjusted to allow you to attack enemies while moving through matter.
(Solus showed a smallish gadget that kind of looked like a claw)
"Chaos edge: a powerful sword that can de-materialize and materialize at command, can only be used by one holder unless its passed down to another holder.
(Solus showed them a mystical looking sword, glowing blue and grey)
"Liegen Darts: darts that contain powerful toxins which can incapacitate the victims in any way the holder wants as soon as the toxin enters the body, especially designed for Liege for a reason that I can't remember.
(Solus held out a bunch of black darts. Liege smiled for he knew that he talked Solus into making him something that could help him get his way easier)
"Force Field Generator: can make any force field, has special sensors which makes a force field when you aren't aware of an incoming attack, can deflect anything.
(This weapon looked more like a staff than a shield, it was silver and red in colour)
"Scythe: changes into different forms, can be anything the holder wants it to be, can change its state of matter, something I know Amalgamous will love.
(It looked like a curved sword, but it kind of "glitched" a bit. It was black and grey in colour)
"Requiem Blaster: powerful blaster, connects to the holder's arm, also has a very precise aiming system and can have a powerful gravitational pull.
(It was a rather large, grey and reddish blaster)
"And my personal favourite, the Star Saber: almost unbreakable, can slice anything, can also send out 'super-slices'."
(She showed them a beautiful, silver sword with a silver and golden handle with two blades joining together to form one)

To be honest, the Makers were pretty impressed, but they didn't show it.

"Solus," Galactus began quite seriously.

"How could you make weapons behind our backs?!" Galactia asked angrily again.

"And after we said we would not make weapons!" Galactron shouted, again.

"You should really be ashamed of yourself!" Galactica said in her "adult" voice.

"Oh, come on!" Solus complained. "You just said we need to get an advantage over Unicron! I know I disobeyed, but at least we're not wasting time in making weapons."

"Alright," Galactron gave in.

"That is true." Galactia admitted.
"Yeah, I guess it is." Galactica agreed.

"But there is still a disadvantage to some of these weapons." Galactus said in a-mattter-of-fact kind of way.

The Primes all stared at the Makers. They all wondered how these weapons could carry a disadvantage. The Makers explained, "If one of you were to maybe drop your weapon, then Unicron would use it against you."

"And how would you prevent that from happening?" Megatronus asked rather irritated. "Are you going to build it into us?"

"Actually, that's not a bad idea, but no." The Makers opened a portal and retrieved a pure blue crystal.

"What do you intend to do with that?" Alchemist asked, studying the crystal carefully.

"What exactly is that?" Amalgamous asked.

"It's Primus' Energon that we collected before his formation," the Makers replied. "We are going to make a vessel to house this energy properly, modify the weapons to only work to their full potential when they sense this energy and then give you this energy."

The Primes all nodded and Solus asked if she could make the vessel. The Makers said she could, she just needed to make sure that the vessel could fit into each of their chest plates.
Then the Makers opened another portal and disappeared somewhere else. The Makers gave Solus instructions to distribute the weapons to the Primes who she thought would be best suited, and they told the Primes to meet later in the invention room.

Solus already finished the vessel and she started handing out the weapons. She gave the Apex Amour to Micronus, the Scythe to Amalgamous, the Chaos Edge to Nexus, the Liegen Darts to Liege Maximo, the Phase Shifter to Alchemist, the Force Field Generator to Quintus. Then she was left with the Requiem Blaster and the Star Saber. She so badly wanted to give her favourite weapon to Megatronus, but she knew he was the best at using guns and was actually the worst with swords. Then again, she hated Prima and she didn't want to give him the Saber, even if he was built to handle a sword. After much thinking, she gave the Requiem Blaster to Megatronus and the Star Saber to Prima. When Prima received the Saber, he looked at Solus suspiciously.

"Don't worry," she said in reply to his look. "I didn't do anything funny with it." Solus smiled,  Prima smiled back and shook his head. This was probably the friendliest they've ever been with each other since they met.

After a few minutes, all the Primes met in the invention room. The Makers appeared from no where, "You're here! Great, now where's the vessel, Solus?"

"Right here. I hope the compartment is the right size." Solus revealed a sort of w-shaped golden object with a circle in the middle that was hollow.

The Makers inspected the vessel, "Perfect!"
The Makers picked up a medium sized, blue crystal and placed it inside the hollow circle. The vessel glowed a bright blue colour. They used their power that controlled Primus' energy and lifted the vessel without even touching it (telekenisis). They started talking, "This is what we call the Matrix. Unfortunately, because time isn't exactly on our side and there are more important things to protect using the energ should it get into the wrong hands, we have to stretch this, so bring the Star Saber, Requiem Blaster, Chaos Edge, Quill, Chimera Stone, and the Forge."

The Primes did as they were told and the Makers did some programming. The Makers sighed and then admitted, "We couldn't test if the energy crystal was stable because we don't have any dummies." The next part came out uneasy as if they tried not to cry, "One of you will have to test it."

The Primes all looked at each other. They had no idea what to expect. If the Makers weren't sure if it was stable, then how can they be sure? After a few minutes, Prima stepped forward.
"I will test it."

"Are you sure you want to do this?" They asked worriedly.

"We have to try, Primus needs us."

The Makers opened up Prima's chest plate and made the Matrix connect with his Spark. There was a bright light that shone from the Matrix and there was a lot of power pushing him. The Makers worried a bit. Prima stood his ground and then the glowing stopped. The Makers gave a sigh of relief, and so did the Primes. Prima survived! Galactron looked at some graphs that showed on a hologram from his suit.

"Everything is stable," he stated happily.

"And not just that," Galactia said in surprise as she looked at the stats.

"Apparently the Matrix fused with your Spark, Prima." Galactus said.

"And it has also taken some of your main personalities which means that future holders must have really good leadership skills and a good Spark to even be worthy of it!" Galactica exclaimed quickly, but happily. They then gave the Primes each in turn a chance to gain the power of the Matrix and wield the weapons properly.

Then the Makers motioned the Primes to the operation table. They were confused, until the Makers called Megatronus first, "Come on, Megatronus. You gave us the idea to build weapons into you guys, so you go first."

"I was being sarcastic!" Megatronus blurted out being kind of scared.

"Yeah, we detected the sarcasm, but it would give you guys some extra edge in battle."

"Don't you need to test it out?!"

"Pfft! We don't need to test out modifications we make to a skeletal system we designed ourselves. Trust us, Megatronus. Unless you don't want us to give you the cool stuff first."
Megatronus jumped on the table platform and made ready for the Makers to make the "cool" modifications. The Makers installed a few weapons, such as blasters and blades mainly in the arms. After a few minutes, they called the next Prime, which happened to be Optimus. They did the same to him and the rest of the Primes. All the Primes checked out their new upgrades and commented on how bad-ass they all looked - except for Solus and Prima, they roasted each other.

Now they were ready for battle.
