Elizabeth's P.O.V

The notice on the board. It was taken down. It didn't help, everybody saw. They believed, they agreed with Ashley, I escaped the crowd and ran. Daniel filled me in on what happened when I left. Kelsey and Caleb pushed past the crowd, Caleb made them all go back to their seats while Kelsey tore the poster off the notice board. Apparently Dylan disappeared but it wasn't to go to me or maybe it was but he never came. I went to my favourite tree outside, where I used to go as a nerd. That's it, it all started when I got the Makeover. All of the drama with boys and girls. Maybe if I go back it will all stop. What if nobody likes me then, I'll go back to being a loner. No, I can't think that. I had made up my mind

Thursday

My alarm goes off at 5:45 and I switch it off. I get out of bed and pull open the curtains. The sunlight peeks over the clouds as I walk to my bathroom. I shower, brush my teeth and then brush my hair. At the sink I take out my contacts, I won't be needing those anymore. When I go to my cupboard I pick out dark blue jeans, a white button up shirt and my black and white sneakers and get changed. I then tie up my hair into a high ponytail and walk over to my desk. I open the draw at the bottom and pull out a tiny case, I close the draw again and set the case down carefully on my desktop. Opening it up I pull out my black glasses and slip them on. I apply clear lipbalm and grab my keys, my bag, my phone and walk downstairs.

After I eat breakfast and say goodbye to my parents I walk outside and to my car. Plopping my bag into the backseat, I drive to school.

When I get to school I sit in my car for about 2 minutes, I'm nervous. I open my car door slowly and taking my time get out of the car. Shutting the car door and locking it I walk quickly to the entrance of the school. I walk into the school and immediately see Kelsey and Caleb standing by my locker. I walk up to them "Hey Kels, hey Caleb" I say and they both look at me. I know they notice what I'm wearing but they choose to ignore it which I'm grateful for. "Hey Liz" they say and we all chat like a normal day.

Suddenly someone puts there arm around my waist and I look up to see. Dylan. He looks down at me and gives me a kiss. My heart soars, he doesn't care that I don't wear makeup or that my clothes are different.

His lips leave mine and I want to frown but he still stays by my side and we all talk about random topics. "Hey my football game is coming up" Dylan says to me and I nod, "Would you...wear my jersey?" He asks and I hug him and whisper in his ear "Of course" I say and he smiles at me and we continue talking with everyone.

In Geograpgy class I sit next to Kelsey, the teacher starts teaching and then gives us work to do. "So..what did Dylan talk to you about?" She whispers and I blush a little "He asked me to wear his jersey at the football game" I said my cheeks getting even redder. "What!? That is so cute!" She whisper yells and a few students turn towards her. She grins sheepishly and turns back to her work.

When the bell rings I pack everything up and wave goodbye at Kelsey since we now have different classes and walk towards my class. Oh no, I left my books in my locker I think and quickly change directions and head to my locker. I open it and grab my books and am about to turn around when I hear the click of heels on the floor. Ashley. I slowly turn around and her and her group of 'friends' stand behind her. She looks at me and laughs and so does her friends and I just stand there. "Looks like the nerd is back" she says her voice dripping with sarcasm but I can hear the anger and hatred behind it. She extends her manicured hand towards me and hits all of my books out of my hands. She walks up close to my ear and whispers "This is what you deserve" and then clicks her fingers and all of them walk down the hallway.

I stand there for about a full minute before finally going and collecting my books. I'm late, I know I am but I still walk slowly towards my class scared they will pop up again. They are like Jack-in-the-box's except with expensive outfits, blonde highlights and manicured nails. I finally get to my class and knock on the door.

I have detention. Great. It's after school and I'm walking towards the detention room. I sigh and open the door and step inside. I take a seat in the far corner and just sit there thinking about everything. I get bullied if I'm a nerd and I get bullied if I'm not.

What even makes me a nerd? I have glasses but that's it and I'm done sticking with that steoreotype and am going to express myself no matter what. I relax a bit and smile realising that Dylan's game is on Friday (a.k.a tomorrow). He wants me to wear his jersey. I'm excited but nervous.
