Elizabeth's P.O.V

I feel something in my stomach, but not a good feeling. Am I jealous? No, Elizabeth it's Emmett and plus this girl could be like his cousin or something. "Hi" she says and she sounds Australian from what I can hear. She has blonde hair and bright blue eyes and she comes forward and opens up her arms to hug me and as she smiles I can see she has dimples. She hugs me, "You must be Elizabeth, I have heard so much about you" She says as she pulls away from the hug. Funny, cause I've never heard of you, that's what I think but what I really say is. "All good things I hope" with a smile and she just winks and before she can say anything I hear someone coming down the stairs. 

Emmett walks down, his hair messy but on him it looks stylish. He's wearing a typical outfit, jeans and a white shirt but on him it looks model worthy. He runs a hand through his hair as he approaches us. "Hey Lizzie I'm guessing you've met Ava" he says smiling at me. "I have" I say as I fiddle with a bracelet on my wrist. "Well come on upstairs we can work on our project" he says beckoning for me to follow him up the stairs.

I begin walking and I see Ava talking to Emmett's mom, 'oh great the mother likes her' I think 'wait why does it matter I am only here cause I got stuck with Emmett for that stupid project' I think and nod my head, yeh that's the only reason. "Penny for your thoughts" a voice says and I look up to see Emmett smirking at me. My cheeks go a bit pink before I walk up the stairs and shoved his shoulder a little, "Oh shut up" I said and we both went up  the stairs. He lead me to a white door and opened it and I stepped inside. 

I had never thought about what his room would look like but if I had I wouldn't have thought of this. The room was super tidy. White walls with wooden floors and a double bed with a plain Grey duvet and white bedside tables with only a clock on the right one. He had a big cream colored dresser and a bookshelf hanging on one of the walls next to a desk with a black laptop on top. "So... I finished up my book report" he states and I turn around and face him. "Yea so did I, so should we work on the scene we have to perform?" I suggest and he nods as he takes a seat on his bed. I awkwardly stand and fiddle with my hands and he pats a spot next to him gesturing for me to come sit and I go and sit down. "So I think we should do Act 2 Scene 2, the balcony scene of romeo and Juliet?" I say and he agrees with me so we look it up and learn the parts.

*1 hour later*

'Sleep dwell upon thine eyes, peace in thy breast.

Would I were sleep and peace, so sweet to rest.

Hence will I to my ghostly friar’s close cell,

His help to crave and my dear hap to tell.'

He finished the scene by saying and we both collapse backwards on the bed. "We did it!" I say happily as I look at him and he turns propping his head on his hand, facing me and smiles at me. I mimic his position and we both look at each other, after a bit he slowly leans in and I find myself doing the same but then there's a knock at the door and we both spring apart and I hear him swear lightly under his breath. 'Were we about to? Was he going to kiss me?' I think to myself and he smiles apologetically at me and opens the door revealing Ava. "Dinners ready" she says with a bright smile and then walks away.

When she leaves we don't say anything and he stands there with his hands in his pocket. "You hungry?" he asks and I smile and nod and he stands back at the door and gestures for me to go first and I walk through the door with him following close behind me. We both walk down the stairs as his mom smiles at me and we sit down next to each other with me on his left and Ava on his right and Gabbie comes downstairs and sits next to me.

His dad is sitting at the end of the table and his mom comes carrying a big bowl of spaghetti bolognese. We all dish up and then start eating. "So Elizabeth, hows yours and Emmetts project coming along?" his mom asks and I smile-"We actually just finished it" I say happily and she returns the smile. Ava and Emmetts dad are chatting about random things, 'great she gets along with both parents, wait why do I even care" I think to myself and that's when I finally admit to myself.' Dammit, I like Emmett'

Ok Hi guys guess who's back! I know it's been a while but I kind of lost motivation to write but I'm back now! So I hope you enjoyed this chapter and before anyone gets confused Gabbie came to Elizabeth's house and then she left so Elizabeth got ready on her own and then went to Emmetts house just to clarify so Gabbie didn't stay at Elizabeths house while Elizabeth did the project.
