At the Cullen's house, Edward was thinking about Bella, Rosalie and Emmitt were relaxing. Alice was reading a book while Jasper was looking out the window at the woods. Esme was cooking lunch because Bella was coming over and Carlisle was going through some documents in his office when the phone rang. He picked it up and soon his expression changed into shock. He hung up the phone and walked out of his office and to speak to his family. He walked into the living room, everyone looked at him as Edward read his thoughts.

"Sam called, a new family has moved to Folks," Edward spoke for Carlisle. "Who are they?" Edward asked him, Carlisle started thinking.

"They might be human but I think the fact that Sam called and told me, leads me to believe that they might not be human. We can't be for sure until we meet them ourselves." Everyone nodded their heads. "Sam told me the address and I wrote it down, we can meet them tomorrow." It was set, Esme decided she was gonna bake some cookies tomorrow to give to them.

The next day everyone was ready to meet the new neighbors. Esme made cookies, everyone was dressed nicely, Bella was with them. They drove there instead of using their inhuman speed. They drove down the main road then turned down a long dirt path. Going to the very end until the had to stop when a house came into view they parked behind a few cars, they got out and walked towards the house. When they saw no one or heard nothing, they stopped and looked around.

"How are you, people?" A tiny voice spoke, no one was here so everyone was confused.

"Where are you? We're neighbors," Alice spoke in her cheery voice.

"Neighbors?" Another voice spoke as two little kids came out from behind a shed. They were about six years old, they were definitely twins. They were two innocent looking girls withheld each other's hands while standing together looking at the Cullens.

"Yes, we're the neighbors. The Cullens." Carlisle spoke in a calm voice. They looked at everyone then their eyes stopped on Jasper. Their eyes widened, they gave bright smiles.

"It's Sissy's Mate!!!" They yelled before running into the house. Everyone was shocked and confused, a woman came out of the house.

"Hello, I'm sorry I didn't hear anyone pull up. I'm Jessica Stone or you can call me Jess." She was a woman with red-brown hair, slightly curly. She stood on the porch steps waiting for everyone. She smiled and looked off to the woods on the Cullens right. "Hello, boys, who were the territory run?" She looked as five young males walked out of the tree line with no shirts on.

"Hey mom, it was okay. We do seem to have some other runners," he stopped and looked at the Cullens. The other four guys stood in a defensive stance, it wasn't until Jessica spoke.

"Boys, these are the neighbors. Be nice." She turned around and walked back to the house.

"So neighbors?" One of them came close to the family. "You guys smell like vampires." At the mention of vampires, the others grew very tense.

"Are you here to bring harm to our family?" The oldest one growled he was ready to fight.

"No, we are not. We're just here to greet you and welcome you to the area." Esme smiled holding out a plate of cookies, instantly they were squealing.

"Cookies!" The twin girl came back out running towards Esme, they stood by her feet looking up at her. "May we have one?" They both asked her, she smiled and held down the plate. They both took one and started nibbling on the rim. They started smiling. "They're so good!!" They both smiled, seeing them act so calm around Esme made the boys relax as well.

"So, you're just here being friendly?" One asked and Carlisle nodded his head.

"Yes, sorry if you thought otherwise. So you know were vampires? How?" He asked them but before any of them could answer, a deep voice spoke.

"They are wolves with a strong sense of smell. I, myself, also knew that vampires had approached our house." An older man stepped out of the house and off the porch. "My name is Robert Stone, head of this family and father to these children." Carlisle shook his hand.

"I am Carlisle Cullens, this is my wife Esme and my adopted children. Emmitt, Rosalie, Alice, Edward and Jasper, that is Bella. Edward's girlfriend." Robert nodded his head.

"Boys, come. Girls, stand." All he said was four words made everyone move over to him and stand to his left. "These are my adopted sons, Matthew, Zane, Cameron, Carl, and Kaleb." They stood there all proud and stuff. "The two youngest out of my children, the twins. Kia and Mia," they waved at the Cullens. "You've met my wife Jessica, she keeps my tamed." He smirked then received a light smack on the head.

"I tame you and you give my children to love." She smiled and kissed his check.

"I can hear another thought in the house, something about where the charms are?" Edwards said in confusion, Robert smiled.

"That would be my mother, Sonia. She is the real boss of the house." Robert chuckled as the boys smiled.

"You said one thought? Does that mean you can hear the thoughts of other people?" Kia asked she stood on the right as Mia stood on the left.

"Yes, I can."

"But what about sissy?" Mia asked in confusion.

"She's probably shutting herself off from the world," Matthew said crossing his arms. "You want me to go find her pops?" He asked Robert, he sighed.

"Sure but promise me that you won't force her to wake up."

"You got it pops." Matthew started walking towards the house, he started climbing up the side of the house, Jessica sighed.

"Matt you can use something called stairs." She called out making Matthew laugh.

"I know but I was born a wild child!" His brothers laughed making Jessica glare at them, they suck up real quick but were holding in their laughter. Matthew was out of sight when he reached the roof, Jasper looked up at the roof like something was pulling him towards it.
