8-Arabella
Some people, are jerks. Just strait out jerks. And other people are very unobservant and stupid, walking into trap after trap, but at least they're not jerks. I sighed. As soon as those jerks I mentioned earlier left me on a farm in the middle of nowhere, I managed to slip out of the dress that was dampening my power. At least there was no one around to see me. I quickly transformed my hideous hair back to normal. My waist length dark purple hair was much better than chin length platinum blonde hair. I returned my dark red knee-length dress, and knee high black boots. My black corset wrapped itself around my waist. Finally, my black cloak, settled on my shoulders.
I pulled my self to my feet and looked around. I was in the middle of nowhere with no landmark anywhere except a barn about a hundred yards from me. It was just miles and miles of fields. I sighed again, and walked to the barn. Once inside I looked around for any means of transportation. The only things I saw were hay bales, a bucket, a broom, and a broken down tractor. I walked over to the broom, and picked it up. It was quite sturdy and perfect for my needs.
An hour later, I was soaring over London, riding sidesaddle on my new enchanted broom. I was concealed from people below by a thick layer of fog that had mysteriously entered the town a few minutes before I flew overhead. Huh, imagine that. The carriage I was looking for was easy to spot, even through the fog. It was moving pretty fast, as two horses pulled it along the road. I pulled up over their carriage and landed lightly on top. I had my guard up and spells tingling at my finger tips.
Rose Smith was driving the carriage and I could see the top of her head from the roof. I shot a spell at her and startled she fell forward. I had her bound in seconds. My next objective was her accomplice. I found her sleeping inside the carriage. She too I bound in spells. Then I carried both of them to the roof. The horses had broken free and the carriage was rolling to a stop. I knocked them both out with another spell and draped them across my broomstick. Then I took off into the air to deliver them to the witch council.
"Well done young Arabella." Mistress Cordelia, the head of the witch council, congratulated me, "Susie-Anne's legacy will be no more."
"Thank you mistress."
"As promised to you, at the beginning of your mission, a clean slate from your mother's atrocities. You will no longer be blamed or judged from her actions. You are hereby free of Susie-Ann's legacy."
I smiled on satisfaction. No more would I be hated for the crimes my mother, Susie-Anne, committed. And all it cost me was two bumps on the head and a hideous outfit. Best, day, ever!
