"At the intermission," Merritt begins walking to the front of the stage. "We asked you to write down your current bank balance, and seal it in an envelope. Now it's time to take those envelopes out.Everyone take 'em out."

"Now, everybody, shout out your name, all at once," a now dry and dressed up Catalina says. "Go, just shout'em out."

"Clement? Frannick?" Merritt asks.

"Yeah! Up here!" A man yells.

"Oh, way up there."

"Okay, how about a Dina Robertson?" Catalina asks, standing next to Merritt.

"That's me!" A lady in a dress yes.

"Okay, okay. Names, names. Let's go," Merritt tells them.

"Josepha Hickey?" Catalina asks.

"That's me!" A women in a brown halter says.

"Okay, lovely, I want you to
focus on your balance, and count from one to 10 out loud."

"One, two, three, four, five..."

"Stop," Catalina tells her. "Is the first digit 5?"

"Yes."

"Do it again, this time, faster."

"One, two, three, four, five, six..."

"Stop, six, it's six. Again please."

"One, two..."

"Okay, Josepha, is your
bank balance $562 as of today?"

"Yeah," she says sadly. "That's what I got."

"Unfortunately Josepha," Catalina says, pointing to her with clasped hands. "You are wrong. Merritt, would you like to take the next one?"

Merritt nods. "Thank you Catalina. Okay, Dina, okay. 1,4,7,7.

"Yeah," Dina smiles.

"You think it is, but in fact, you, too, are wrong."

"Okay, okay," Catalina says walking to the right a little. "Uh, Clement, darling you do not have $6,500 in your account. In fact, everybody stand up, everybody please. Put your envelopes to your forehead, focus on your number."

"This is... oh, dear," Merritt says. "Just as I feared. Oh, this is strange. You know, I hate to say this, but you are all wrong. Every last one of you is dead wrong about what you think is in your account."

"You can sit down now," Catalina says putting her palms down.

Daniel walks towards Merritt and whispers in his ear. "Don't forget to thank Arthur," he tells him.

"Oh! Oh, yeah, I almost forgot," Merritt says as Daniel walks away backwards. "This evening would not be possible if it weren't for our great benefactor Arthur Tressier. Big applause! Big applause! Art, actually, why don't you come up on stage for the finale? Come on down, Art!"

"Come on down, Art!" Henley yells.

"There he goes, okay, good, there he goes," Daniel says as the old man walks towards the stage.

"Now, Art, did you fill out your envelope?" Henley asks. "Well, no need, we've done it for you."

"Now, Art, I took a guess," Merritt tells him as Jack walks on stage with a huge envelope. "North of 140. Am I right? That's 140 million, by the way," he tells them as Henley pulls the check out of the envelope.

"I'm sorry, Merritt. How can he be right about his balance
and everyone else be wrong?" Henley asks.

"I think possibly because he, too, is wrong."

"Everybody, please take out your papers, under your seat there is a flashlight. Warm wth paper with it. Your correct balance begins to appear."

"Now, Art, don't worry,
we have a flashlight for you, yes," Merritt tells him as Jack walks on stage with a huge flashlight.

"Ahh, not in the eyes, please!" Catalina says blinking her eyes. "Oh god, I think I'm blind," Catalina mumbles.

"Sorry!" Jack apologizes, flashing the light on the check with Arthur's balance.

"Look," Daniel says pointing to the check.

"Huh? Wow," Henley says.

"What's going on there, Daniel?" Merritt asks.

"Wait, this is weird. A second ago, it said $144,579,651.
But now...now it says $144,509,651."

"Are you saying the check is now 70,000 dollars left?" Catalina gasps, before turning around. "Josepha, can you stand up?"

"Yes," she says standing up.

"Can you please tell us what is your new number?"

"$70,562 now in my account," she reads off the paper.

"Is it possible that Josepha's balance went up the exact amount that Art's went down?"

"Hey, check it out," Jack says. "It's happening again."

"Is it?" Daniel asks.

"Wow, it is."

"Art's balance has gone down another 280K!" Catalina announces.

"Dina Robertson? What did yours say?" Merritt asks.

"$281,477," she says in conplete shock, the crowd cheering.

"I'm sorry guys, but we have a confession to make," Catalina tells the crowd honestly.

"She's right, we lied about something," Jack finishes.

"Yes, none of you were chosen at random," Daniel confesses.

"All of you have one thing in common," Merritt tells the crowd.

"Everyone in this room was a victim of the hard times that hit one of America's most treasured cities," Henley tells them.

"Some of you lost your houses, your cars," Merritt says.

"Your businesses," Jack adds on.

"Your loved ones," Catalina says sadly.

"But all of you were insured by the same company," Daniel tells them.

"Tressler Insurance!" They all yell pointing at Arthur, the crowd yells.

"You were abandoned,"

"Loopholed," Catalina says in disgust.

"Out of your settlements," Jack says.

"This is all for show, correct?" Arthur asks Henley.

"If by "All" meaning we're doing it onstage in front of a paying audience?

"Then, yes, it's for show," Catalina smirks, standing next to Henley with her arms crossed.

"Whoa! Whoa!" A man from the audience yells. "I've got $82,000 in my bank account! It says it right here on my cell phone!
Everybody, look at your cell phones right now! Everybody!"

"Whoo!"

"Hey! Did you do this?" Arthur asks Merritt.

"How could we, Art?" Jack rhetorically asks. "We don't have your password."

"We'd need access to information we could never get our hands on," Henley tells him waving her hands.

"Ah, yes, security questions, for instance, like, I don't know, your mother's maiden name or the name of your first pet," Daniel tells him.

"Where would we get that information, Art? You certainly would never tell us," Merritt say as Arthur tries to lunge at him but fails because his ankles are chained.

"Better luck next time, grandpa," Catalina says bumping his shoulder. "But, hey, we left you the jet and the Rolls," she says as the crowd shout angrily at him.

"Stop!" Dylan yells as Daniel waves at him. "Stop! Nobody move! Freeze!"

"Quarterback!" A women shouts feom the audience.

We are The Five Horsemen," they all say holding onto a zipline and going up. "Good night."

"Now, what?" Merritt asks.

"Now," Catalina says facing him. "We run."
