In the human dimension, a few of Rosa's human friends, Esteban, Lucinda, Vito, Marcela, Nicolás, and Clarisa, playing a game of kickball. "And up next to kick, Clarisa Perez, nicest out of the two Perez sisters, but also pretty shy, all she needs to do is kick the ball and her team will win," Vito said in an announcer like way. "Vito!!! You know show doesn't do well under pressure!!!!" Marcela yelled at her friend. "Lo siento, it's just I love a good game you know," the short teen replied. "Don't we all, especially las chicas," Nicolás renarked, giving a look to Lucinda. "Not a chance Vazquez!!!!" She screeched back. "Can we just continue with the game, please?" Whispered Clarisa. "Oh, yeah, let's not get off topic," Esteban replied.
All of a sudden, Rosa and her witch friend Chipper came by. "Rosa!!!!" Everyone cheered, huddling around the teen. "I didn't realize my amigos missed me so much," she said. "So? How is everything at Charmcast?" Esteban asked her. "It's estupendo,  I've been learning all sorts of cool spells and stuff, the eight of us are going to do an enchantment for my homework," Rosa replied. "An enchantment, like any other witch would do!!!!" Everyone got excited, especially Esteban. "Sorry guys, wish I could be there, but my padres have a banquet with another wealthy family tonight, it's very importante," Clarisa told them. 
In speaking of the Perez familia, Clarisa's sister Isabel came by. "Hermana!!! Madre and padre want you at the casa inmediatamente!!!!!" She said. At said casa, it was just the two hermanas there, they'd parents weren't even home yet. "Isabel, you said madre and padre wanted me, where are they?" She asked. "Ok, I might have, sort of, lied to about that, and the banquet, I just wanted you here for something muy importante, I need someone for my social media posts, my Atentagram followers are starting to follow some other chica from my school, Northwest Hills, and everyone loves you more than me, so I was thinking you could help get my followers back," Isabel explained. "Sure, I'll help, but no more manipulation ok?" Clarisa replied. "Si!!!"
It was late at night as Rosa and her friends, with Clarisa, were about to start the enchantment. "You ready guys?" The teen asked. The others nodded as the ceremony had begun. "First up, we begin with the incantation," Chipper told the others. "With the light of the moon and the heart of a witch, a casting shall be upon the, between the feeling of sorrow and glee, shall the light dawn on me, for more than one and two and three, for what magic can achieve, with the cast of music to make you sing, let the bell of enchantment ring!!!" The amigos had said, creating a light blue glow that spread throughout the house. "Woo!!! We did it!!!!!" Rosa cheered. "We did do it, but nothing happened," Esteban replied. "How anticlimactic," Marcela remarked. "Well, I did ask my parents if I could stay over at the Ortiz house for tonight, so, let's enjoy ourselves," Chipper said. "Si," everyone agreed. The eight decided to watch movies while they were alone in the house, but unbeknownst to them, a creature was lurking in the shadows. The creature was of a small size, but was still fierce and scary. The creature came up to the teens and instead of giving them a spook, it just took their snacks. "Wait a minuto, Elaine," Rosa said. "Yeah, it's me, I was taking a catnap in the laundry basket until I smelled butter, and butter meant, and popcorn meant someone was watching a movie, so that means I could give you fur a quick scare so I could take your popcorn, p.s. there are strange noises in the basement," the small cat explained. "Wait, what was that last part?" Vito asked. "I stole your popcorn?" Elaine replied. "No the other thing, about the strange noises coming from the basement," Chipper told her. "Oh yeah, that, sure, go check those out," the cat said. "Yeah, let's go do that," Rosa replied. 
The teens went upstairs to prepare themselves for what was in the basement making those noises that Elaine was talking about. They went down into said basement as everything was completely pitch black, nothing to see. "Hmm, I have an idea," Rosa used her casting rug and drew a lantern with her finger, creating a lantern for everyone to see out of in the pitch black basement. They continued going through the area, but finding nothing of interest to spot. When going through the basement, few figures that had the same size as shape of Elaine, but weren't at the same time. Then, more noises kept coming, getting louder and scarier every time. "What was that?" Asked Chipper. "Sounds like, a cat!!!" Lucinda replied. "Un gato?" Rosa said. "I believe it, let's go see," everyone came closer to the figures, as they were revealed to be, cats like Elaine. "Muy muy lindo!!!!!" Rosa hugged the small creatures as they teleported all around the area. "What are these things?" Esteban asked. "They're hex cats, hex cats are cats that inhabit Hex Isle, the start out with magical powers that they are unable to control, but they will be able to control them, as long as they're not wearing a collar like I am," Elaine explained. "So you're a hex cat too?" Rosa asked. "Of course I am, in human years I'm a thousand, but in hex cat years, I'm actually nine and a half, so I'm older than all these guys," the cat said. "Well, we should give them all names, there's eight of them so we should each name one," Clarisa replied. "Ok, how about CastCore?" a familiar voice said, revealing it to come from Maribel. "Maribel!!!" Rosa, Esteban and Lucinda shout. "Good to see you lovelies again, I'm sorry my visit had to be cut short, but I'll bring gifts next time," the witch left, taking all eight of the hex cat kittens. 
The teens followed her into the Hex Isle portal, sending them to the island. "Wow, I forget how interesante this place is," Esteban said. "So this is what happens when a world is run by witches," Marcela was awed by the magical world around her. "Yeah, I knkw it's interesante and mágico and all that, but the most importante thing is to save our lindo amigos," Rosa told her friends. "You're right," Elaine said. Everyobe went to go find Maribel before she made it to CastCore HQ. "Excuse me everyone, but have you seen a witch wut h blue poofy hair?" Chipper asked. "Sure sweetie, I saw her go near Hex Isle Plaza," a witch told her. "I'm looking for her myself," the witch revealed herself to be Maribel's older sister and Rosa's mentor Dolores. "Hey kid, heard my sister stole some innocent cats," she said. "Yeah, gracias Dolores," the others ran off to catch up with Maribel at Hex Isle Plaza. They cornered the witch, leaving her defenseless. "You caught me, take what you want, just leave me be," the teens took the hex cats, but had no idea what to do with them. "I have an idea nińos," Dolores took the bag, let the kittens out, and found good homes, as for Maribel, she went back to CastCore HQ empty handed, leaving her boss angered. "I guess it is true Maribel, you weakened yourself around a bunch of teenagers, unbelievable," he said. "I'm sorry, I'll try harder next time, promised," Maribel replied. "Of course you will, if you don't, you'll become part of Miss Nettle' s bird cage."
