When I reach the bottom step, Flash comes over and gives me a package. I put it down on the table, and start making a list of people who brought presents. As I am writing Flash's name, Dash comes over with a present from Bolt. Guess he's going on the list... This is like my birthday all over again! Mine is December 18th, exactly a week before Christmas, and it stinks because you can't do anything outside, and you get all your presents at once, instead of spread out. Plus, we NEVER get off from school. :/ I guess I am just that awesome where get to have school on the same day. I guess I must be frowning, because Unicity comes over.

"Twi, are you okay?" She asks, waving a hand in front of my face to get my attention.

"Yeah, I guess," I say, and sigh.

"Darling, this is a party! Smile!" I give her a forced smile, and smile as wide as I possibly can.

"A real smile," she says out of the corner of her mouth while waving to Andrew.

"This is one of my better ones!" I tell her through the side of my mouth, and she skips away to talk to Andrew. Then Flash comes over.

"Hey Twi," he says, staring longingly into my eyes. Ew. "I've got a song for you.... Hit it!" A spotlight shines on him, and everyone goes silent. Then he starts singing with Bolt and Vilen as backup.

He reaches his hand out towards me, looking at me longingly in the eyes again. Mitch comes over, putting his arm around my shoulder.

"Sorry, Flash, she's taken." He tells Flash, and Flash looks at me.

"Well, technically I'm not.." I say.

"Well, technically you are..." Mitch says back.

"Well technically I'm not..." I say back. Then I look over at Flash. "Sorry, Flash, but no." He wimpers and scurries away, clearly defeated. Mitch then gives me a hug, and goes off to join Preston in getting some snacks... Sigh. I am the only one without a boyfriend... Dash with with Preston, Peony is with Lachlan, Jackie is with Jerome, and Flit is with Adam. Mitch walks over looking at me funny.

"Umm... Twi.... Can I talk to you for a second? Like, privately?" he asks.

"Sure," I reply, and he pulls me upstairs to my bedroom. Closing the door, he turns around. Taking a deep breath, he looks me in the eyes. (Don't think like Lindsey!)

"Twi, I remember that you have wings and magic," he says. My mouth drops open in shock. Then he comes forward and kisses me. (This is for YOU, Christina!) Leaning into him, he pushes me against the wall, and we stay like that for a few minutes. Then I pull back.

"But... How do you know?" I stare into his eyes. He just stares back, not answering. Then he kisses me again, pulling me to the bed. We sit down, and he pulls me into his lap. Wrapping my arms around him, I hug him just as the door slams open. I shoot into the air, knocking Mitch off the bed as I do so. Turning around, I see Unicity standing there, with a shocked look on her face.

"Uh oh...." Mitch sighs.

"TWI!" she scolds. "How could you? He isn't officially your boyfriend, and you have no business doing that with anyone else! Mitch, you should also know better! I am so ashamed!" She huffs, and comes over to Mitch.

"Out. NOW." She points to the door. He gets up and starts making his way out of the room.

"Unicity, wait!" I tell her. "He remembers my wings and magic!" I say, and she looks at me with pure shock.

"Wha-how?" She shreiks, dragging Mitch back in the room. (So much for THAT idea of hers...) She "throws" him on the bed and sits across from him, while I go float in a nearby corner. Something bangs on the window, and I cautiously fly over and slowely lift up the blinds. Outside is a creature with glowing eyes, kinda looking like a weird black lion with fangs. I gasp, and throw myself to the floor, closing the blinds. The animal shreiks and claws at the window.

"Ummm... Twi... What is that?" Unicity asks, looking scared.

"I have no idea!" I say, and motion towards her. "OK, open the blinds and the window really fast so I can shoot at it!" I yell, trying to be heard over the clawing and shreiks. She nods, and moves over to the window. Then she whips the blinds and windows open and I shoot a magical arrow at it. It does a spell, and the arrow comes back at me, and I dodge it before it hits me. Unicity slams the window and blinds shut again, and I back against the wall breathing hard.

"Whatever that things is, it wants to kill us." I say, and I hear a stampede of people come up the stairs, and I see that it is all my friends.

"Twi, what the heck is going on?" They yell.

"Everyone downstairs is getting worried!"

"What happened?"

"Why is Mitch in here?" Oh, THAT'S the question I'm not answering.... Luckily, Unicity saves me.

"Now isn't the time for that. We need to get people home right now and make sure that the animal can't get it." Everyone nods. "Twi and I will use our magic to make a magical barrier around the house. It will let people out, but nothing in." We focus, and there is a glowing purple light surrounding us. Then it fades away - we are done. Flit and Dash go downstairs and start herding people out. I can tell they are doing their job, because you can hear a giant, "awwwwwwwww....." from downstairs. It is silent, and we hear footsteps coming back up the stairs. Dash, Flit, Rob, Preston, and Jerome enter my room.

"Done!" Dash says, looking triumphant.

"The guys can stay the night," Flit says, and they nod. Now the house seems quiet.... TOO quiet. Where did the animal go? Then we hear a crash from downstairs, and we all freeze. Slowly turning around, Dash, Jackie, and I make our way downstairs. We get closer and closer to the sound, and then look to our left? THERE'S A SHADOW!!!! Backing away, it comes into the light and it is....... We all slap our foreheads. It's just a party guest. Ugh...

"Where is everyone?" He asks, scratching his head in confusion.

"We..... Umm.... Had some technical difficulties, and everyone had to leave...." Dash says, and drags the guy out the door.

"Bye!" We all yell and smile, and then Jackie slams the door in his face. Going back upstairs, we pick up everything that got knocked over and return to my room. I do a spell to make sure that all the windows are locked, and shove everyone out of my room. Locking the door, I change into some more comfortable clothes - some that has holes in the back for my wings. Stretching them out, I fly around the ceiling fan a couple of times, before landing. Picking up my "party" clothes, I open my door and put them in the hamper at the end of the hallway.

Then I fly downstairs to join everyone else. I look around, and see that everyone already changed as well. Unicity used her magic and gave the boys pajamas. Mitch has a red shirt with a sword on it and some red and black checkered pants. Preston had red pants and a shirt with a cactus on it. Jerome has beige ones with a cup of coffee on it, while Adam had TNT on his grey ones. Rob has blue pajamas, with a picture of his Minecraft characters face on it. Honestly, the cutest face and smile you will ever see on Minecraft - ever.

"Soooo.... Where is everyone sleeping?" I ask, and everyone just shrugs. Okay then... "Well, I guess we could all sleep in here, like a sleepover..." I suggest, and Pinkie nods enthusiastically. This will be a very interesting night.
