As Rob looks at me weird, I try to find an explanation.

        "Oh... umm.... sorry... it's just that I was REALLY cold and needed to dry off." I say. He looks like he doesn't believe me, but then shakes his head and tells me it was ok. Huh. Well, I guess THAT went well. Next up is Preston and Dash isn't back yet. What is she doing inside??? Then she comes back out with her towel wrapped aroound her shoulders and starts filming Preston. He sits down and looks SO serious. Oh, this will be GOOD!!!

        "Ok, I'm ready." he says, and looks around confidently. Rob starts to pour the water on him, but Preston quickly jumps up, sending the bucket flying and spraying all of us. Well, that was unplanned. Now I'm wet again. I check behind me to look at my wings and see that they are still covered pretty well.

        "Yeeeess!!! Cactus for the win!!!" Preston yells. Then he starts doing a little victory dance. I have to admit, the jumping and ballet parts are INTERESTING. Only then does he realize that Dash is still filming and looks aghast. "Dash! You're filming this?!?!?" he yells. "Oh, I am SO going to get back at you for that!" She smirks and we all know the answer to that: he never will. Dash is too good at not letting people get back at her.

        "Hahaha!!!" she says, facing the phone towards herself. "That was the legendary TBNRFrags and his victory dance! And, also in a way, his Ice Bucket Challenge! Let's see what he does to get his revenge. For now, everyone stay radical!" Dash ends the recording and uploads it to YouTube. Then she just silently watches everyone else take their turn and I go and stand next to her.

        "You okay?" I whisper to her. She nods back and I feel a little better. Then, when it is all over, we all head back inside and change out of our swimsuits back into regular clothing. When I put on my shirt, though, something feels off. I'm really uncomfortable! I look around and see my wings being crushed beneath the fabric. Hmm.. there has to be some scissors here somewhere.... I find them on my desk and cut two holes in the back of my shirt for my wings can be more comfortable. Wait. That means I need a jacket. And it's about 90 degrees outside. Greeeeat. Hmm.. well if I have wings, I may as well enjoy them! I climb out my window and see Dash on the roof. I climb up and as soon as I make a move toward her, she motions me to stop, panic on her face. Then I hear Preston.

        "Dash?" he asks."What are you doing on the roof?" She immediately turns around, so he can't see her wings.

        "I uh... wanted some fresh air.." she says. Now I know that's not true, especially with the way she was acting. She wanted to go flying!!! I watch from the corner of the window and see Preston read a note on her bed. He looks at her in confusion, just as Mitch walks in the room. Dash gasps and runs off the roof, spreading her wings so she can land safely. The guys run out the front door after her and I am once again alone. Or so I thought. While I was watching Dash, Rob came up on the roof behind me and saw my wings. I turn around to head back inside when I see him. I do exactly as Dash does and gasp. He lunges at me, trying to get me to not go off the roof, but it's too late. I jump and plummet towards the ground. At the last second, I spread my wings and land softly on the ground. I hear the front door open and Rob comes running out. I run down the block in the opposite way Dash did and try flying. Ugh, I can barely get off the ground but it will have to do! Rob chases after me and I try flying higher. 

        When I reach a treetop I land on the highest branch and turn my back to him. Then the tears come. I start crying and look behind me as Rob comes up to the tree. He looks surprised and in awe, and that makes me cry harder. He wasn't supposed to know! I turn away and hold my face in my hands. Then I hear a rustling behind me and see Rob pull himself up on the branch next to me. He gives me a hug and then continues to hold me as I cry into his shirt. That's going to be a very wet shirt. The sun sets and we look at the emerging stars from our tree branch. That's when I realize how long I've been gone. I get up and tell Rob that we have to get back. He shrugs and starts climbing back down the tree. I flap my wings and fly right above him as he walks home. We go inside and see that everyone is back, including Dash. When I see everyone watching me, I panic and run upstairs as fast as I can. I slam my door shut and change into clothes that hide my wings well. Then I go back downstairs and sit down at the dinner table between Dash and Preston. They both look annoyed at my seat choice (is something *interesting* going on between them?) so I move across the table and sit between Mitch and Rob. We all eat dinner quickly and go to bed. (Turns out they were waiting for Rob and I to get home so we had a late dinner..) I snuggle with my stuffed cow and fall into a deep sleep.
