Jackson | School Courtyard

I sat in the back watching my target.

First, let me introduce myself; my name is Jackson Grey and Im a 17 year old who works with The Mafia. I dont have much family, just my sister who also works with The Mafia and thats all you need to know about me.

I quickly sent a text to my boss.

J : i see em.

B : do it

I locked my business phone and went over to my target, Mason. He saw me coming and took off running but a wall was right there so he ran into it. I smirked and grabbed him up by his hair.

Me: Let's go kid.

I dragged him behind the school.

Me: You got his stuff?

Mason: N-No. I-I can have it b-by 9:00 tonight.

Me: Hm. Okay. Take this as a warning though.

I punched him in the mouth and instantly made his mouth bleed. I kneed him in the stomach then swept my leg under him, knocking him down. I then just began to kick him in the face and stomach.

Me: That's a warning. Imagine what'll happen if you dont have it by tonight.

I left him laying there crying and walked inside the school. I went to the bathroom to clean up any evidence of his blood that was on my shoes and hand. By the time I finished lunch was over and it was time for 5th period and the last period of the day. Thank God cause I hate this ugly ass school. I had to get switched to this school because my target was here and no other Mafia member went here.

I went into my 5th block and sat in the back since I like being in the back.

The teacher came in before anymore of the class. He looked up and jumped once he saw me.

Teacher: I dont want any trouble Mr. Grayson.

Me: Im not here to cause any. Im here to learn.

He sighed out in relief.

Me: But-

I got off of my stool and walked towards him while speaking.

Me: If you do something I dont like, I might have to do something I dont wanna. Im sure you have a lovely family, I think they'd want you back. In one piece and not 6.

He stepped back as he shook really hard.

Teacher: Y-Yes Jackson

Me: If we're doing labs, dont give me a dumb partner or I'll kill your family. Infront of you.

I began walking back to my seat as students began to file in. The last one in was the girl from my first period. The one who sat beside me. I took out my phone and began to play a game as the teacher explained what we were doing today.

Teacher: Today we're doing bookwork but with partners. Its whoever is sitting next to you. Except Stacey switch with Kat please.

Stacey: But I dont wanna. The new boy is cute.

I felt her fingers rub on my arm and I slowly turned to look at her.

Me: You have 3 seconds to move your fingers before I break em.

Stacey: Oh come on baby. Dont act like you dont want this.

Me: 1.

Teacher: Stacey please just make the switch.

Me: 2.

Kat: Stacey he looks really serious. Just switch.

Stacey: No. I-

She cut herself off by screaming seeing that I broke both of her fingers that was trailing up my arm.

Me: 3.

The teacher attended to Stacey while I went back to my phone. Not my fault that she didnt want to move her now broken fingers.

Teacher: Students please begin to work. Camila please hand out the packets. The page numbers are on the board.

He walked out with a crying Stacey. The girl who Im seeing as Kat took her seat.

Kat: Im sorry about Stacey.

I only shrugged in response. We got our packets and Kat instantly opened her book after moving Stacey's things to Kat's old seat.

As she looked down in her book I looked at her. She was pretty cute I guess. She had long brown hair that was curled today. She looked only to have on eyeliner and lipgloss. She looked over at me and laughed while smiling at me.

Kat: What?

I shook my head at her.

Me: Nothing. Lets just get to work.

I put away my phone and opened my book. We began to do our packet.

About 30 minutes later the teacher came back in.

Teacher: Okay class. Class will be ending in about 15 minutes. So if you don't finish it all in class, once partner will take a book home and you will have to get together to finish it. If it's not completed by tomorrow then both partners get a 0.

I looked through the packet to find out we had 4 more pages left and we only completed 2.

Me: We aint gonna finish this in time.

Kat: Um I guess I could take the book home and complete it. I could give you the answers.

Me: Aight cool.

I went back to my packet then began to feel kinda bad. I dont know why but I did.

Me: You free after school?

Kat: Yeah. Why?

Me: Let's get together somewhere and work on it together.

Kat: Oh no no. I can do i-

Me: Dont argue with me Kat.

Kat: Oh. Okay. Um where?

Me: Give me your number and I'll text you where.

I put her number in my personal phone.

Me: I'll take the book.

Warehouse | After School

I walked into the warehouse after putting in all 3 passwords and getting past the guards. I went to my bosses office and knocked on the door before entering.

Boss: He had my shit?

Me: Nah. He said he could get it by 9:00. I gave him a warning though.

Boss nodded his head and slid me a envelope.

Boss: Payment. Get outta here and do your homework. I'll text you if I need you.

Me: Aight. Thanks.

He nodded and went back to counting his pounds. I got back in my car and drove to the house I share with my sister, Lauren.

I pulled into the garage and parked. I got out and went inaide the house.

Me: Laur!?

Lauren: Kitchen!

I went inside the kitchen.

Lauren: Everything went good today?

Me: Yea. You still stalking?

Lauren playfully rolled her eyes.

Lauren: Im not stalking Camila.

Me: Oh right. I forgot you were just making sure your crush was alright.

Lauren: Dont you got homework or something to do?

I laughed and headed up the stairs to my bedroom.
