<<Every end has a new beginning.>>

Third person's point of view

A sharp pain shot into her head as she forced her eyes to open. She held her head and looked around to figure out where she was. It was a master bedroom. She had never been in such a huge room. Everything in the room was of the colour black, white and grey. Everything seemed so expensive, from the floor to the showpieces but she didn't bother to notice any because the only thing running in her mind was 'where she was and how she ended up there?'

'As far as I remember it was my wedding. I was sitting in my room with Reema... when we heard the sounds of bullets. She ran outside the room to check. But when I tried to follow her I was pushed onto the floor and... Who was he? Is he the one who brought me here?' she thought, trying hard to remember more.

She looked at herself for once. She was still in the wedding outfit. She got up from the bed and ran to the door. She tried to open it but it was locked from outside. Her palms started sweating and her legs started shaking with fear. She started looking for some other source of exit in the room but there was none. There wasn't even any window in that room.

"What to do now? How do I get out of here?" she asked herself.

Just then she heard the sound of unlocking the door. The fear in her heart increased with every click. Finally, the door got open and someone entered inside. Ragini looked at his face. He wasn't the one she saw in her... in her uncle's house. She took a few steps back.

"Who... Who are you? Why am I here? Let me go home." said Ragini, shaking terribly.

"Relax! I'm not going to hurt you. He brought you here and... You will never go back home." the person casually said, taking a step closer to her.

"Who? Who's he? And what does he want from me? I don't have money to give you and I don't even have parents who can give you money to take me back." she said with restlessness clearly audible in her words.

"Do you think we need money? Look around! Where are you? Have you ever heard or seen a kidnapper keeping his hostage in a master bedroom?" the person in front of her asked, laughing.

His words made her think about what he said. He was right. Why will a kidnapper keep his hostage like that?

"Then what do you want from me?" she asked not knowing what was in store for her.

"I don't want anything from you but he does." he said with a smirk playing on his lips.

"What does he want from me?" she seemed irritated as she was not getting the right response to her questions.

"He wants everything you have." he said.

"What do you mean?" she asked although she was having an idea about what he meant by that.

"You'll get to know soon. For now I need to tell this news to others." with that he turned around and walked out of the room.

"She's awake!" she heard him saying.

'Why does he want me? What did I do to him?' she thought.

Thousands of thoughts were running in her mind and none of them was pleasant.

"Rohit! Where's Rohit? They've brought him as well? Where did they keep him?"

Without thinking about anything, she ran out of the room. She was on the first floor. She was stepping down the stairs, stumbling because of her heavy attire. She stopped when she reached a large hall. There were four men sitting on the couches in the hall. The one who came to the room a few seconds ago was also sitting with them. All of them were looking in her direction now. She gulped.

"She's really beautiful!" said one of them while getting up and taking a step in her direction while she stepped back, trying to maintain distance from him.

"But she's out of range for you." said another while the other two laughed.

"What's your name?" asked the one who was now standing only a few feet away from her.

"Ra... Ragini..." she answered.

"Oh, beautiful name, just like your beautiful face." he said and it was crystal clear that he was flirting with her.

"Okay, Rey come back and sit down. We need to continue with the thing we were discussing." said the one who came to her room to the one who was standing in front of her.

The one whom he called Rey nodded. He looked at Ragini again and then went back to his place.

They then kept on discussing something, completely ignoring her presence there.

"I want to go!" she said not liking their ignorance.

They brought her from her marriage and now they are ignoring her like she doesn't exist.

"You can't!" replied the four together.

It pissed her off. What did they want from her?

"Where's Rohit?" she asked nobody in preference.

"Who's Rohit?" asked the cutest among them.

"Kavi, Rohit must be that pig faced groom." replied one of them.

"By the way, bhai did a great job by saving this angel from that pig. He didn't deserve her. Right Aru bhai?" asked Rey to one who was sitting in front of him.

Aru nodded his head in agreement with his brother.

"I'm talking about my brother. Rohit is my brother." she said angrily.

"Oh! We don't have any idea about your brother's whereabouts. Yuvi bhai, you were with bhai. Do you know where her brother is?" asked Aru to the one who came to her room.

"Nope! I don't know where he is. Why don't you ask bhai when he comes back?" replied Yuvi looking in her direction.

"And when will your b-h-a-i come back?" she asked, gritting her teeth.

Her brother was her world and thinking that they had kidnapped him too, her blood was boiling and it was heard in her voice. She could go to any extent for her brother.

"Wohoo... There he is! Bhai is going to have a long life." said Aru while looking behind her.

Ragini turned around and saw a man standing there. He had sharp eyes. The skin color was dusky and the body was well built and worth staring. He was wearing a brown colored three piece suit which was fitting him perfectly. His face was straight and serious.

He looked at the four men and then his eyes fell on Ragini. One of his eyebrows automatically went up while a dark smirk formed on his lips.

Ragini recognized him at the first glimpse. He was the same man she had seen in her house.

"Hey princess! Did you like your palace?" he asked slipping his hands into his pockets.

"Where's my brother?" asked Ragini looking straight into his eyes.

"Oh! That 4feet-6inched fair colored boy?" he asked, taking slow steps towards her.

"Tell me, where is my brother?" asked Ragini again but this time her pitch was higher.

"What if I don't?" he asked crossing his arms around his chest.

"You have no idea what I can do for my brother! He is my only family!" she screamed.

"You can do anything for your brother?" he asked with a glint of surprise in his voice.

"Yes!" she replied without thinking twice.

"Interesting!" he said turning, his back facing her now.

He took out the gun which was tucked in his pants and pointed it at Ragini. Ragini was left shocked. She got scared while others were having normal looks on their faces, like it was the most usual thing for them.

"What? What are you doing?" she asked, scared.

"You said that you can do anything for your brother!" he said moving his free hand into his hair.

"Yes, I can." said Ragini, determined.

He moved towards her and stopped just a few inches away from her. He bent down so that he was at her eye level.

Ragini closed her eyes thinking that he was going to shoot her.

"Let's see!" he said as he held her hand and placed the gun in it.

Ragini opened her eyes and looked at the gun in her hand. She started shaking. She looked at the gun and then at him. He moved back. He then held Rey's hand and brought him in front of Ragini.

"Shoot him!!" he ordered.

Ragini shivered while Rey was standing there casually. He looked at his brother.

"Why me?" Rey asked rolling his eyes.

"Because you've started talking too much these days." the man in the suit replied.

"I said shoot him if you want to save your brother." he told Ragini.

Ragini held the gun with both of her shaking hands and pointed it at Rey. She closed her eyes and kept her finger on the trigger. The man smirked at that.

Ragini shook her head and let the gun fall down onto the floor. She then herself fell onto her knees and tears started streaming down her cheeks.

"I can't do it! I can't kill anyone." she said hiding her face in between her palms.

He moved towards her and sat in front of her. She looked at him with tear filled eyes.

"That's it! It was the first and last chance for you. Now, if you want me to keep your brother unharmed, you'll not do anything against me and most importantly, you'll not try to run away. It's not like you can actually run away from me but I don't have time to waste in running behind you or chasing you.Laksh Maheshwari never runs after anything, but everything and everyone runs after Laksh Maheshwari." he said holding her chin forcefully and making her look into his eyes.

"Who are you? Why are you doing this with me?" she asked timidly.

Laksh started laughing at her question. He then looked at his brothers.

"You didn't tell her who I am?" he asked his brothers and then turned to look at Ragini again, without waiting for their response.

"I-am-your-fate! I-am-the-mafia-boss!" he said with his intense gaze fixed on her face.

Ragini's body went numb at his words, the intensity and seriousness of them. What has the mafia got to do with her? Her head was spinning.

"Get up and go back to your room now." he said getting up but she didn't move.

"You didn't hear me?" he shouted.

Ragini jerked at the pitch of his voice and looked up at him.

"I hate you!" she said crying as she got up.

He just smiled at her.

"Most of the people hate me. It's not a big deal if you're one of them too." he said moving his index finger on her face.

Ragini turned her face away from him, feeling disgusted by his touch.

"See you at night." he said moving his face closer to her.

Ragini was about to move back but he grabbed her roughly through her waist and pulled her closer.

"Obey or pay!" he warned.

"Just get out of here!" he shouted as he let her go.

Ragini ran back to the room she came out of.

Laksh then turned back to look at his brothers.

"What's new?" he asked making his way to the couch, acting like nothing happened a few moments ago.

"He's trying to cross the limits." said his brother Yuvraaj.

"We have to show him his real place, as soon as possible." said Arjun.

Laksh nodded his head at them. He then looked at Kabeer who was sitting silently.

"What happened to you? She didn't let you speak this time too?" he asked, frowning.

Kabeer looked at his brother and then shook his head in no.

"You can't handle a woman! Like seriously?" asked Laksh in disbelief.

"Bhai, it's not like..." started Kabeer but was cut off by Laksh.

"You're the Mafia boss' brother for fucks' sake! Learn how to make people obey you. If they don't, then..." he stopped as he looked at his gun.

"I just can't use a gun for all the little things and scare people unnecessarily bhai." said Kabeer, whining.

"Learn it yourself otherwise I am going to teach you personally." said Laksh as he got up and left from there.

"You're talking about using the gun but you don't even have any guts to tell your real identity to her." said Arjun rolling his eyes.

The other two chuckled at his remark while Kabeer pouted.
