Chapter 19
"Leave me alone!" She struggled to push him away. "Get away from m- Kai?"
"Yes, me," Kim Jong-in smirked back at her.
Li-na glared at him fiercely. "Move, or I'll scream,"
"Oh, why, Hoobae? Aren't you happy to see me?"
The mockery in his tone, the gleam in his eyes. To her, he seemed so different to the Kai of her high school.
"Not at all,"
"That's harsh. I thought you liked me, Li-na. Is your stomach not filled with butterflies right now?"
Li-na screwed up her lips and spat right into his eyes. He yelped, hands flying up to his face and stumbling back.
"'Absolutely not, you psycho," she snapped, using the opportunity to gather my dress skirts and run as fast as she could.
His angry roar echoed across the hallway as he began to run after her, making a squeal erupt from her lips.
The angry and scared girl reached the ballroom, checking behind her as she swung through the doors. He had disappeared.
Determinedly, she strode towards a very familiar tall figure and dragged him away from the person he was talking to.
"Li?" Taehyung gave me an annoyed look as she grabbed onto his arm.
"You promised me, remember?"
He raised an eyebrow. "Promised you what?"
Min Li-na took a deep breath. "Teach me to use a gun, Kim Taehyung,"

LI-NA'S POV
"You're doing it wrong,"
I let out a frustrated sigh. "Look forward, safety catch, aim the muzzle with the target, and pull the trigger. That's what you said, right?"
"I did," he said defensively. "But if you want to kill, you need to have better aim,"
"I don't want to kill. I just want to be able to use a gun,"
He grabbed onto my arms, aligning them to the target and then pulling the trigger.
The dummy's leg burst open.
"Kneecaps. Always go for the kneecaps, if you don't want to kill,"
I shook off his grip and closed one eye, aiming for the other knee.
My bullet whistled through the quiet field, hitting the dummy's thigh.
"Not bad," Taehyung mused. "A little more practice and you'll be as good as... Well, not me. Probably Jungkook level,"
I raised my eyebrows. "Alright, Mr Egoistic,"

YOONGI'S POV
"Eomma, please. It's fine,"
My mother glared at me through the phone. "You should be grateful I'm not telling your father about this. A young girl like Li-na, sharing a room with a man!"
"Jeonggyu is also with them," I pointed out.
"Not the point, Yoongi! Ah, seriously, I get that you kids are trying to set them up, but this is too much!"
"It's not. Taehyung's a good guy, he knows his boundaries. I'm sure nothing is happening with them,"
LI-NA'S POV
"Insufferable," I snapped.
He closed his eyes, humming as he laid his head on my stomach. The impossibly tall boy was laying between my legs.
"Could you move?"
"Nah. I'm so tired out from teaching your clumsy ass to fire a bullet,"
"I'm not clumsy, you little-" I grabbed a fistful of his hair and yanked at it.
He shrieked, outraged, and sat up to grab my earlobe.
"Ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch-" I screeched. "Come on, I didn't even pull it that hard!"
"Too bad- let go! Fuck!"
I was gripping at his hair again. "Let go of my ear first,"
"Let go of my hair first!"
I slowly let go of his hair, him unhanding my poor ear.
With a mini punch at his forehead that dazed him for a few seconds, I lay down. "Goodnight,"
"Oh, hell no," he scooped me up and threw me right over his shoulder. I screamed, beating my fists at his back.
"Let go, you punk!"
"Where are your honorifics, you brat!?"
"Fuck you!"
He dumped me unceremoniously in Jeonggyu stupidly high and stupidly large crib. "Try and get out of there, now,"
Although I wasn't the tallest creature, I was way too big to fit in this thing.
"Get me out of this thing!" I yelled curses at him as he walked to his bed.
I couldn't move properly, literally wedged into it.
"Goodnight!" He sang. "Oh, and don't be too loud. Gyu's only down the corridor, you know. Wouldn't wanna wake him up,"
_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
"How did everyone sleep?"
I grumbled in reply, shooting a pissed off look at Kim Taehyung.
At least he'd been gracious enough to pull me out of that cot when he woke up an hour later.
"Barely enough," Yoongi stretched. "I'm going to grab some groceries. Who's coming with?"
I shrugged. "I'll come,"
"Okay. Just be ready in about ten minutes,"
LISA'S POV
"I'm gonna go to the hairdresser's," Taehyung slung his arm around Namjoon, who gave him a nervous look. "Joon Hyung is going to dye his hair any colour I pick,"
Yeona raised her eyebrows, and then laughed. "Just don't come back in purple, or Namsoon will want her hair coloured too,"
Them two went off with Yoongi and Li-na, who were dropping them off, and Hobi stood up.
"Jimin!" He declared. "Today you have to help me wash the cars,"
Jimin groaned but got up and trailed out with him.
I smiled at Hyunjoon. "What are you kids going to do today then?"
"I'm taking them to the park and no, you can't come. Bye!"
"Traitor!" I yelled at my sister, before glancing across the table to the only person still left in the house.
He was messing around on his phone, eyes twinkling as he looked up at me.
"So what should we do, Lisa?" He asked cheerfully.
"I don't know," I rubbed the back of my neck nervously.
"Then... let's go hiking!" He chirped.
"Hiking?"
_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
"That was horrifying," I slumped down to sit on a rock.
Jungkook chuckled. "Don't forget we have to climb down!"
I groaned, stretching my arms. "Do we have any water left?"
He looked down at the bottle he was drinking from and then offered it to me.
"This is the last one," he chuckled.
I took it, drinking from it while blushing furiously. I hope he thinks I'm just red from the walking.
I gazed out at the view, Jungkook taking pictures of it. We were stood on the biggest hill they had in this resort place.
With a laugh, he turned and took a picture of me.
"Hey, show me that!" I said quickly. Thankfully, I looked decent in the picture.
"Have you had enough of a rest?" He seemed still full of energy. "Let's go back,"
I stood up, screaming out as I slipped slightly.
"I got you, I got you," Jungkook's arms were firm around my waist, pulling me back onto my feet properly.
"Oh, god," I said weakly. "I saw my life flash before my eyes,"
"So dramatic," he mimicked me with a high pitched squeal, making me smack his arm.
"I'll push you off the edge of this hill," I threatened playfully. He laughed good-naturedly, following me as we started down.
He trekked beside me, the two of us laughing and joking around, the sun and warmth barely a problem.
His hand grazed my back a few times from where he protectively held it, occasionally slipping to hold onto my hip for a few seconds.
Jeon Jungkook brushed back his hair and gave me that sweet smile of his, his eyes twinkling and merry.
I couldn't be happier.
