Chapter 11

LISA'S POV

"This is Number 42... 46... 44... Oh! There's 45,"

I grabbed Li-na, who was silently freaking out and brushing her hair out of her face.

"Let's go in!"

I pushed the door open, revealing a group of men, some young enough to be around 20, some a lot older, ranging from 30 to 35.

Kai was not among the men.

"What are these two beauties doing here?" One snickered, nudging the man sat on his right.

I glanced at Li-na, who frowned.

"Excuse me," she said. "We're looking for a man named Jong-in-"

"Oh!" He chuckled. "You're the girls Kai sent,"

Li-na and I shared a glance.

What was going on?

"So, boys," a man wearing a leather jacket got up, cracking his knuckles. "Should we get down to business?"

JUNGKOOK'S POV

Where is he?

I wandered down the hallways in our family mansion, occasionally opening doors to different rooms.

I may or may not have accidentally walked in on a guard and a maid making out while searching for my father.

"Yuck," I groaned, dragging a hand over my eyes. "Sorry for the interruption,"

The two moved away from eachother, bowing 90° as I clambered out of the room, sauntering into one of the smaller kitchens.

"Jungkook," Father said sternly. "You're finally here,"

I bowed my head. "You called for me?"

"I have a small mission for you," he put down the sandwich he was chewing on, wiping his hands on a napkin and then bringing out a document.

I looked over the information of the man, nodding slightly. "You want him brought back, or finished in the job, Dad?"

"Finish him off there. I'll send a clean up crew after you,"

"Okay,"

I went to my room, sliding on a big hoodie and mask, before strapping a belt to my waist, guns hanging off of it.

Making my way into a black SUV, I set up my earpiece, listening to my dad.

"He's at The Marigold. Remember, quick, quiet death,"

"Got it,"

_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

I slipped to the backrooms, hand on the gun at my waist.

The target was currently living it up, drink in hand and girl at waist.

Great.

I guess the girl had to go too.

I aimed my gun, the bullet making almost no noise as it whizzed through the air, piercing him in the back and giving him no time to scream.

He slumped, blood seeping from his body, as the girl screamed, before dropping to the ground, dead.

I took off the silencer, sliding the gun back into the belt, and signalling to the men Dad had sent.

"All yours. Thanks for your work," I clapped one of the guys on the back, moving away as they went to dispose of all evidence of murder.

I looked around, humming while peering at the back of the VIP rooms.

Sometimes I wonder whether people know that the back wall of every room in this club is transparent.

Judging by the way people were all over eachother, they either didn't know, or didn't care.

I retched with a chuckle as I saw a man being slapped by some woman, another woman at his side.

"Looks like he had an affair," I tutted, before moving my eyes to the next room.

Are my eyes betraying me?

Lisa had her hair being pulled by some guy, another man feeling her up.

Li-na was knelt on the ground, screaming and crying while trying to push away more men.

I couldn't recognize the face of any of them.

I shrieked, grabbing two guns and running to the front of the room, bursting through the door with my guns raised.

"What the fuck is going on!?"

YOONGI'S POV

"What's all that noise?"

My head perked up to face Taehyung, who was frowning and looking around.

Gunshots rang through the air, clear and loud.

People were glancing around just like us, wondering what could be happening.

"Someone's shooting round the back," I furrowed my eyebrows. "Should we go check it out?"

He nodded. "Sure. Been a while since some drama-"

He stopped midway, his face contorting.

"Tae? What's wrong?"

"Li-na," he breathed, panicked. "Min Li-na, Lisa freaking Manoban!"

He jumped up, shaking Jimin violently. "Get the fuck up, Park Jimin!"

He slurred, squinting. "WHaT dO yoU wAnt, Tae..."

"Li-na and Lisa are down there!" He wailed.

"What?!" I roared, dropping my whiskey glass.

It shattered into thousands of tiny pieces.

"How the fuck are they here?!"

"Forget that, Hyung! They might be in danger!"

I abandoned Jimin and Taehyung all together, pulling out a pocket knife from my trousers, and rushed towards the back of the club.

As I got closer, the sound of agonizing pain and shouting got louder, along with a familiar voice.

"Who the fuck do you think y'all are?"

Jungkook?

I pushed past random spectators, making eye contact with the young boy, who rasped at me.

"Yoongi Hyung!"

"What's going on, Jungkook?" I called as he threw me a gun, landing a hard punch on some man.

I looked down and saw a row of men, kneeling to the ground.

About three of the seven were dead, the others beaten up and bruised.

I noticed Lisa's dark hair as she hugged Jungkook's side, sobbing.

How...?

"Lisa?" I said. "I- if Lisa's here, where's Li?"

Jungkook's eyes turned dark as he turned around, guns still pointed the men.

"Where is she?"

I flew into rage, pushing my knife into one of the guys' shoulders and pressing the gun against another's head.

"What have you done with her?" I yelled. "Where is my younger sister?"

"I've got her,"

I whipped round, sighing in relief as Taehyung walked in, Li-na in his arms.

Her head was pressed to his neck, her body shaking under his grip like she was silently crying.

"Oh, god," I almost heaved out an angry sob, moving towards them and lifting her out of his embrace.

Her face was puffed up from crying, her lips swollen and red.

There were marks all over both girls.

"What have they done to you?" I whispered, holding her by the shoulders and gazing at her.

Taehyung moved to Lisa, calming her down with Jungkook.

"O- Oppa-" she choked out, trembling. "They... They-"

"Sh," I hugged her, glaring in hatred at the men.

Jimin tripped in, leaning a hand against the doorframe.

"What's going on?" He grumbled, gagging a little.

"Taehyung. Take Jimin and Li-na home. Jungkook, go with Lisa. I'll gather these bastards, and I'll text you from then,"

They nodded, Jungkook ushering Lisa out comfortingly, and Taehyung locking Jimin's arm around his shoulder.

He staggered forward, extending his other arm out to Li-na.

"Come, Li," he said softly, taking her hand.

She hiccuped, wiping her wet cheeks, and followed after him obediently.

TAEHYUNG'S POV

Rage.

I could only see red.

I plopped Jimin in the back of my car, Li-na sliding in next to him.

The ride to Jimin's was silent. The occasional sound of him groaning was the only noise made in the car.

"Jihyun," I greeted the young boy, who happened to be smoking outside the house.

He smiled widely, bowing his head. "Hyung! What are you doing here?"

"Your stupid brother got drunk," I sighed, gesturing to Jimin. "Can you take him in? I got a girl to take care of,"

He nodded, putting out his cigarette and handing it to a guard nearby, before going to the car.

He, with my help, got Jimin out of the car, and bowed to Li-na.

"Hello," he smiled. "I'm Jimin's brother. You're Yoongi Hyung's sister, right?"

She nodded, giving him a weak smile. "I'm Li-na. It's nice to meet you,"

He smiled again, before closing the car door.

"She's pretty," he laughed. "But it looks like you made her sad, Hyung. She's got red eyes,"

"It's a long story," I patted his back, before watching him take his older brother inside.

"Jihyun, you rascal," Jimin mumbled while being dragged away. "Stop smacking my head,"

"If Mom sees you, Hyung, we're both going to be dead! So shut up and stop getting wasted all the time!"

I climbed back into the car, setting off towards my apartment.

"You okay?" I said, offering her a bottle of water without taking my eyes off the road.

"Perfect," she answered quietly, opening it and sipping demurely.

That was a good sign.

She'd calmed down enough to argue with me.

I sighed, tapping on the steering wheel to keep my hands busy.

After she'd collected herself enough to realize we weren't going in the direction of her house, she piped up.

"Where are you taking me? This isn't-"

"We're going to mine,"

She lowered her eyes. "Why?"

"I'm going to clean you up," I said. "I don't want your parents worrying,"

She nodded. "Whatever,"

_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

"Here,"

I passed her a Gucci t-shirt and a pair of too small boxers.

"It's all I got," I shrugged at her mildly outraged face. "You don't expect to see womens accessories in a bachelor's home, do you?"

She rolled her eyes, wordlessly turning away and into my bathroom.

About ten minutes later, she came back out, her hair wrapped up in a towel turban.

Her body smelled like my shower gel. Vanilla, sage, and spice.

Shit.

This isn't good.

"Do you have a hairdryer?"

Her voice was almost back to normal; just loosing its usual sparkiness.

Dull. She sounded dull.

"I did," I started. "But Namjoon broke it a month ago,"

She sighed a little, taking the towel off her head and using it to rub against her hair instead.

The side of the oversized shirt slipped, revealing her shoulder.

I would usually marvel over how smooth and soft her skin looked, but instead, my focus remained on the still fading red marks splayed over her collarbone and below.

"Li..." I said gently, stepping towards her.

She watched as I very softly traced the marks, frowning.

"Tell me," I looked up to meet her eyes.

"W- what?" She mumbled.

"Tell me. Everything,"

---------------

I'm not too sure if I wrote this chapter the way I wanted it, but yeah.

It took me an absurdly long time to write this 🤔 idk why I found it hard to describe.

Happy reading!
