Zahra POV

I groaned in my slept when I felt my stomach started to hurt. I rolled onto my stomach while groaning in pain.

I bet that right now I'm in my period pain and it's hurt really bad. Just now I wanted to take the ablution for zuhr prayer but I realised that I'm on my monthly.

But now my stomach was hurt so I clutched it. I'm one of those girls who has the worst pain when in the monthly. I put my head into the pillow and let out a groaned. I took a deep breath to calm myself but I knew I can't.

When I heard the door opened, my eyes widen as I saw him from the corner of my eyes. Well now he's back because he disappeared again for this past three days.

I didn't knew where he went. And Maya said that he was busy with his worked.

Well he was really a hard working person.

I closed my eyes and pretended to sleep when I heard his footsteps towards me. I fisted the pillow when my stomach cramped.

I felt the mattress beside me dipped down by his weight. He pulled away some strands of my hair from my face.

"You're sweating baby doll."his husky voice sounded to my ears as my eyebrow furrowed when my stomach cramped more.

"What's wrong with you?"he asked with worried voice making me opened my eyes.

I saw he was already looking at me with worried expression making me groaned.

It's embarrassing to tell him.

I turned my head away from him and clutched my stomach when it clenched painfully. I let out another groaned until he held my shoulder then turned my body around gently so I laid on my back.

My eyes closed as my hand still on my stomach when he did that.

"Are you sick, baby doll?"he asked again but I kept silence.

I felt him moved away making me sighed in relieved but I heard him shuffled across the room.

A couple of minutes later, I felt something warm against my forehead making me opened my eyes. I saw him wiped my forehead with a wet towel. My eyebrow furrowed more when my stomach can't stopped clenched.

His eyebrow furrowed slightly when he saw that,"I'm going to call a doctor."he said making my eyes widen.

Hello I'm also a doctor here and I knew the difference of sick and the period pain.

Before he got up I held his wrist making him stopped. He looked at it before he saw me shook my head making him sighed.

"C-Can you please call Maya?"I said and squeezed his wrist making him nodded and sighing before I pulled my hand away and closed my eyes.

"Alright I'm going to call her."he said as he moved away a few hair that stick to my face because of my sweat and kissed my forehead before getting up.

I didn't had any strength to fight right now so I just let him did that. I heard the door opened and closed making me groaned again.

I rolled around the bed, I'm glad that this bed was huge so I'm not going to fall into the ground. I rolled again then stopped when I felt tired. I hid my head under the pillow and let out a screamed.

Why must girls always had their period pain?

I huffed and fisted the pillow. When I heard the door opened I pulled my head away from under the pillow and looked up.

I saw Maya jogged towards me with worried expression with him trailed behind her.

Maya sat beside me,"What's wrong Zahra?"she asked softly and wiped some sweat from my forehead.

I looked up to him and saw he was looking at me with worried expression and his eyebrow was furrowed.

I pulled Maya closer to me then whispered to her ears,"I'm on my period pain."

Maya looked at me then smiled. She looked at him making his eyebrow furrowed slightly.

"What's wrong with her Maya?"he asked.

Maya chuckled then looked at me,"Don't tell him."I whispered yelled at her making him looked at us weirdly.

"Come on. He's your husband now so it's okay if he knows."Maya said softly making me pouted.

Yes she right but it still embarrassing.

"She's on her period Damien."Maya said making him frowned slightly and sighing.

I huffed and clutched my stomach as I turned my body away from them so my back was towards them. I heard him chuckled making me scowled.

"She's fine Damien. Just let her rest."Maya told him,"Oh I forget I have something that can reduce the pain. I'll go get it first."Maya added before I heard the door opened and closed.

I felt the bed dipped slightly behind me and I heard him chuckled again making me scowled more.

"Why don't you just tell me baby doll?"he said and ran his hand through my hair.

I opened my eyes and glared him over my shoulder as I slapped his hand away making him chuckled again. I huffed when he just chuckled.

"Where does it hurt?"he asked making me frowned,"Here?"he added.

I squealed when he slipped his hand underneath my shirt then put his hand on my bare stomach.

Pervert.

I pulled his hand away then sat up quickly making him chuckled. I glared him but it's replaced with a frowned when my stomach clenched again.

"Are you okay?"he asked and I just nodded.

When we heard a knocked on the door, he got up very fast and jogged to the door. I laid on the back again then sighing. I saw Maya gave and told him something. I can't heard them talking because I'm focused to calm myself.

"Take a rest Zahra."Maya said making me looked up.

"Yeah."I said with a weak voice then waved my hand at her before the door closed.

I put my head back into the pillow and closed my eyes. When I felt someone pulled my shirt, I opened my eyes and squealed.

I sat up and glared him."What?"he said innocently making me narrowed my eyes at him.

He laid something in front of me making me looked at it weirdly.

"You should lay down on it."he said.

I poked the thing making me frowned when it felt like sand inside a bag but it's really soft.

"Maya said that it's a ho--"

"Hot bag."I cut his words making him chuckled.

He reached out his hand to me then grabbed the hem of my shirt making me gasped.

"I just want to help."he said when I slapped his hand away.

I took the bag then laid down on the bed as I pulled the blanket until my chest. I rolled up my shirt under the blanket and rested the bag on my stomach.

I sighed happily when I could immediately felt the warm feeling and the pain in my stomach reduced slightly. My head snapped towards him when I felt him caressed my hair making him chuckled.

"You're cute, baby doll."

I didn't slapped his hand away for this time because his touched soothing me. I scowled at him then sighing. The lights in the room went off when my eyes started to close.

He moved to my side then I felt my head lifted before he put his arm under my head so I can laid my head on his arm.

His warm body made me felt comfortable when he laid beside me while caressing my hair until I let the darkness consume myself.

You knew when you woke up you felt sweaty and hot at the same time. That's what I felt right now. I rolled to my side then threw my leg and arm over the pillow beside me as I snuggled towards it.

Finally my stomach wasn't felt hurt anymore.

When I felt something was rubbing my stomach, my eyes opened. Then I realised that in front of me was a bare sculpted chest.

A bare chest!

I looked up then squealed when it was him that was already chuckled at me. And not to forget that my body sticking to him liked a leech.

He also has his palm on my bare stomach while he rubbed it.

Well why must I shouted when I saw him?

When I pulled my leg away from him, he grabbed it very fast and secured it on his waist.

"You're okay now?"he asked.

I glared him when he was just arched his eyebrow at me.

"I bet you're already fine."he said and chuckled.

Then I pinched his side causing his eyes widen slightly then I pulled my body and rolled to another side.

I got up from the bed as I straighten my shirt. I went to the bathroom to take a bath and ignored the stared that he gave.

I picked new clothes from the walk-in closet and a pad before went straight to the bathroom. After a few minutes refreshing my body, I saw he was sitting on the bed, shirtless while doing something with his phone with a hard looked on his face.

Why don't he marry to his work instead of me?

He's always that busy.

I huffed and stepped into the walk-in closet to take a hair tie. I pulled the first drawer in the middle of the room and searched the rubber.

Last night I saw it was there then I frowned when my hand touched something cold and long. So I lifted it but it was quite heavy, I gasped when I saw it was a gun.

A gun!

I observed the gun in my hand to make sure that it was not just a toy.

And it's not.

This was a real gun!

Oh my Allah.

Why he had this thing?

Was he a part of gang or what?

I hoped not.

I squealed when suddenly someone grabbed my shoulder making me turned around.

"What are yo--"his words cut off when he saw the gun in my hand.

"Where are you get this?"he said with a blank expression.

I blinked my eyes,"Here."I said and pointed the drawer.

I saw his jaw clenched slightly,"Give me the gun baby doll. It's dangerous." he said softly and brought his palm towards me.

I looked at the gun first and his palm the I frowned.

"Why do you have this thing? For what? Are you a part of gang or what?"I said and looked him while frowned.

He closed his eyes and clenched his jaw,"It's just for protection."he opened his eyes that snatched the gun from my hand.

Protection?

From who?

I looked at him with curiosity when he put the gun on his behind. Then I gasped when suddenly he gave me a quick kissed on my lips causing him to chuckle.

"I got to go again but I will come home later, okay."he smiled slightly then patted my head.

I blinked my eyes then nodded. He kissed my forehead before he walked away from this room. I turned around and grabbed the hair tie on the drawer while my head still wandered about the gun.

Why he has that?

Protection from who?

From enemy?

I bet he was not only has a gun and maybe he has bunches of gun.

I will found out later.
