I groaned and pushed my body up to pick my hijab and wrapped it around my head neatly before I opened the door.

Looking to the left and right around the hallway, I saw it was really quite.

I stepped outside and closed my door quietly as I went to the downstairs while walking on my tiptoed.

At the last stairs, I looked around again and sighed in relieved when I saw nothing on my sight.

I strolled towards the kitchen but I saw Emily and Maya also were not there. They must be already went to sleep.

My stomach growled again making me held it.

"Sorry baby mommy didn't give you any food." I said to my stomach and patted it.

I must be crazy right now because I'm talking to my own stomach.

Then I heard a gasped making me turned my head, I saw Maya was stood over there while looking at my stomach.

I face palmed to myself because she must be misunderstood right now.

"Maya that's not what you think."I told her making her looked to my eyes.

"Why don't you tell me that you're pregnant. Oh my God! is that King's child."she walked to me and grabbed my shoulder.

"Why don't you tell me earlier. You're hungry right. I'm going to cook some food for you and your baby." she told me and pushed me softly to sit me down on the stool.

I saw her started to cook while she told me that she was very happy for me having his child.

"But Maya I'm no--"she cut me off again and started scolded me for not came down to eat.

I groaned and laid my head on the cold table as I banged my forehead against it until I felt a hand stopped me for doing that again.

"King!"I heard Maya said his name making my eyes widen.

"I already told you Maya, you don't have to call me King."his husky voice sounded into my ears.

I pulled my head up slowly and when I looked up he was already hovered beside me. I stood up very fast from the stool but my balanced making me almost fell but a pair of strong arm grabbed me before I fell.

"Zahra be careful!"I heard Maya worried voice and I pushed roughly his hand on my waist as I straightened my shirt.

"Are you okay? You should be more careful. You cannot harm yourself and the baby."she walked towards me and searched some injury on my body.

After a couple of minutes he became silent suddenly he spoke.

I screamed in my head and looked at her but she ignored me as she grinned at him.

I rubbed my face, glared him but I already saw he seated himself on the stool.

"Maya listen to me. I'm no-."before I finished my words she pushed me again on the stool making me sat across him.

Maya ignored me as she started to prepare the food for me, I meant us. I looked everywhere but him when I saw his intense stared right to my face as I rubbed my sweaty palm on my sweatpants.

I knew he wanted to kill me for biting him. My mouth watered when I saw Maya put a plate of delicious food in front of me.

I missed my mom's food especially her delicious spaghetti.

"Thank you Maya."I told her and smiled.

I prayed first before dig in the food not caring that a pair of blue eyes was watching me.

We'll I'm really hungry right now.

And I wanted to finish fast so I didn't have to face him for such a long time.

"King-- I mean Damien what's on your neck?"Maya asked him when she put a plate of food in front of him.

"Love bite."he said huskily making me choke on my food and at the same time I heard a gasped from Maya.

I looked up to Maya as I saw she was wiggling her eyebrows and I screamed in my head.

"Mum, wher- King!"I snapped my head towards the voice and I saw Emily was stopped on her tracks as she bowed his head towards him.

"Zahra."Emily clicked her finger in front of me making me looked at her weirdly.

I arched my eyebrow and she tilted her head.

"Why don't you come down to eat?"she asked me and crossed her arm over her chest.

"Well, I'm full already."I told her but she looked liked didn't trusted my words.

"She must be sulking with our King."Maya told her making my eyebrow furrowed.
