Alex wanted to kill someone. Diana was brought back to the cell about five minutes after he was.

They tried to torture him but it was of no use. His face was blue in the places they punched him.

They tried to use Diana against him. Told him that they would kill her if he didn't say anything. Even though he hated that, he didn't give in.

A doctor came in with Diana. She had a knife stabbed into her thigh. The minute he saw her being carried unconscious into the cell, Alex lost it.

He tried to move forward to Diana but he was pulled back and pushed onto the wall by two men.

"LET ME FUCKING GO." He yelled. He was almost about to yell out her actual name.

A man wearing a white jacket entered and bent down beside Diana. He examined the knife sticking out of her leg. The knife seemed to keep half the blood inside but there was still a lot of blood seeping out.

"Put pressure on it." The doc muttered after pulling the knife out.

A guy came in and asked for how she was.

"Oh don't you dare ask that." The doc growled. "You people will never learn. I can't even take her and gets her scans done now. The stupid knife could have done any damage."

"You just have to stop the bleeding." The guy replied.

"Right of course. Cause if she dies it doesn't matter now, right?" The doc muttered still angry.

"Why are you so mad? You've fixed people who have been stabbed five times. You've fixed gun wounds. What's the problem with this? Is it because she is a girl?" The guy looked confused.

"You don't get it, Andrew. You won't. Not right now. But one day you will. Then you'll wish you had done something to stop it." Was all the man said.

He pushed Diana's skirt up a little so that he could clean the wound.

Even though he didn't reveal a lot of skin, Alex still said: "that's enough." Gritting his teeth.

No one said anything after that. The doc bandaged her leg and left.

The two men holding him on the wall let him go. But there was nowhere to go. Diana was still unconscious.

The guards left the cell, but Alex didn't hear any sound of the key locking the door.

He sat down beside Diana. She looked so peaceful. If they ever escaped from there, Alex swore he would find the guy who did this to her and kill him.

The door opened. Alex immediately pulled himself up to protect Diana.

It was that guy. Andrew. The one who asked about her before.

"What do you want?" Alex asked.

"The boss wants to talk to you." He replied. He turned around to walk away leaving the door open.

"I'm not leaving her here alone." Alex said. Andrew turned around.

"No one is going to hurt her."

"I'm not leaving her." Alex said and sat down again.

Beside him, Diana stirred.

"Alex?" She croaked.

"Don't try to get up." Alex warned her. But she did anyway.

She looked at Andrew and the open door and then at him again.

"Where's He?" Andrew asked her.

"Who?" She asked putting herself in a better position.

"Jake."

Diana stopped moving for a second. "Jake huh? I'll tell you but you won't believe it."

"Try me."

"Jake is Diana. Diana is Jake. Jake's the one viper is supposed to marry." Diana replied. "Happy? Maybe now I won't have knifes stabbed into my leg."

It took every fibre in Alex's body not laugh at Andrew's expression.

"She's joking man." Alex told him. The last thing he wanted to do was get Jake and his parents into more trouble.

"The boss wants to meet you." He said again looking annoyed.

Alex looked at Diana. She nodded slightly.

Andrew turned around and walked away. Alex gave Diana a kiss on the forehead and then followed him.

"Take a seat."

Alex continued to stand. "What do you want?"

The old man standing in front of him smirked. "That's an odd question. You know very well what I want. Who I want."

"What do you want with me? I don't think you called me here to ask about Diana. Your agents tortured me and didn't get anything out of me. What do you think you can do, old man?"

A voice in Alex's head kept telling him to shut up. But when did he ever listen?

The old man pulled out a gun from his jacket and placed it on the table in between them.

Alex started to laugh.

"Sorry." He said trying to get his laughter under control.

"Was that supposed to threaten me?" He asked with an amused smile on his face. "If you are going to kill me, get on with it. Cause you're not going to get anything out of me anyway."

"I'm not here to kill you. I'm here to give you a proposition." The old man said.

Alex didn't say anything.

"You are an incredible agent. I've looked into your files and I've got to say, I'm surprised that you are still a regular agent at The Vixen Devils."

I'm the leader's second man, you fool. He thought.

"What are you trying to say?" He asked.

"I want you to join my gang. It's going to be my son's soon. I want you to be his second man." He said.

Alex could feel Andrew tensing up beside him.

"Me?" He asked. "What makes you think I'm going to accept?"

"I just hope you will." He said turning around. "Accept and I will let your friend, the fox, to leave."

"You can leave now. I will call you again for your answer." He dismissed.

Andrew caught him by the arm and dragged him out of the room.

"Aren't you supposed to be his second man?" Alex asked him as they walked towards the cell.

He didn't reply.

Diana was staring at the wall inside the cell. Once Alex entered, Andrew locked the door.

Alex sat down beside Diana.

"The boss wants me to be vipers second man." He muttered.

"Viper is the guy I'm betrothed to." She whispered back.

Alex or viper?
