~Nobody's POV

The next day Lucy woke up, looking confused for a second. Then the memories flooded back and she jumped up, startling Natsu who was sleeping on the chair.

"Lucy!" Natsu said, smiling widely. Though Lucy didn't look that happy.

"Where's Clarissa? Natsu, I need to tell you something," Lucy began, frowning when Natsu's smile didn't fade.

"I know, I handled it. I can't believe she would betray me out of all the people I have on my list."

Lucy scowled. "I didn't like her from the beginning. She had the guts to say you'd choose her over me."

Natsu laughed, grabbed her hands and kissed her knuckles. "I know, I heard it through your tone. I just thought you didn't like her personality, but it was way worse than I thought. Either way, it's done. It's finally over."

Porlyusica walked in the room, giving of a half smile. "Ah, I see you're awake. Natsu was waiting for you to wake up so you could make him some food."

Natsu turned immediately to Porlyusica, his eyebrows twitching. "You fucking snitch—"

But he already felt Lucy's aura, and he turned slowly around, laughing it off.

Lucy cracked her knuckles. "So you wanted me to wake up for your own benefit, huh?"

Natsu frantically waved his hands. "I mean... yeah, but of course I wanted to see your face and your laugh and your eyes. I also wanted food I guess, but that doesn't mean only for that, you know? I... Please don't punch me."

Porlyusica rolled her eyes before showing a half smile. It wasn't often Natsu showed his playful side. She walked away.

Gray came inside and laughed. "Lucy is truly the queen, isn't she?"

"Don't move too much, or your wounds will reopen again," Lucy scolded him. Natsu stood up and got in Gray's face. He snarled. "Shut your mouth."

"Same for you, bastard," Gray spat.

"You wanna go? I won't show mercy," Natsu said menacingly.

Lucy sighed and pushed them both away from each other. She glared at both of them. "Please, stop fighting for once," Lucy said and looked down at them. Immediately the two males nodded their heads.

The atmosphere quickly changed and Natsu stared at Gray, his playful aura turning serious. "We will be leaving in two days. You think you can handle it?"

Lucy raised her eyebrows confused. "We are we going to?"

"Maladives, as a family trip. You and Nash need to relax."

Gray nodded. "Just the three of you?"

"Wait a minute," Lucy said and sat up. "I still need to speak with Jason."

Natsu narrowed his eyes and Gray clenched his hands. "Why do you need to talk to that scum?" Natsu asked.

"When are they free?"

"When I decide so." Natsu crossed his arms, not leaving a room for discussion. Not even for Lucy.

She sighed. "Just let them go, they aren't of any use now."

Natsu flatly ignored her and turned to Gray. "Drag Zeref out of bed if he refuses to take over the company again."

"Will do," Gray said with a mischievous smirk.

"Hey, answer me," Lucy demanded getting in front of his face.

Natsu had the guts to look over her. "When do you think I should tell Zeref and Wendy about Mother?"

"Are you ignoring me?" Lucy's voice came out offended and hurt flashed through her eyes. Although it was quickly replaced with anger. She clenched her fist.

"I guess when we are all over it. Try to tell them as gentle as possible. Don't wait too long though. I think you should answer Lucy, she looks like she wants to kill you right now."

"She can wait," Natsu's cold voice came out. He was pissed about Lucy wanting to meet Jason again. A guard told him she visited him two days ago without his consent.

Gray twitched his eyebrow and punched him. Lucy is his friend too.

"Fine," Lucy spat and unclenched her hands. "Have it your way, because after all you decide everything, right? Jason and Jessica won't rat you out or try to kill us again."

She turned around and stomped her feet to the door. She chuckled with no humor in her voice. "I just woke up and we are both so annoying, great."

Natsu raises his eyebrow, finding Lucy's behavior too weird, not as usual.

"Are you on your pe—"

Natsu got cut off by Gray tackling him and covering his mouth. "Are you fucking nuts? Why do you think that's the right thing to say to a woman?" he yelled in his ear.

They both heard the slam of the door.

Gray sighed in relief, punching Natsu's head for almost getting Lucy super pissed. "You're being a dick, you know?"

"How so?" Natsu asked annoyed.

"Lucy just woke up and you're ignoring her. Don't wait for her to wake up then," Gray said in a 'duh' tone.

"Just leave me alone," Natsu muttered and stood up. He shrugged Gray's hand off of him. He walked outside, sighing at himself.

He stood before a wall and slammed his head on it.

"Dad? What are you doing? And are we still going on vacation? Mom looked super pissed when she passed me."

Natsu laughed awkwardly. "Yes, we are still going. Your mother just needs a little time, she is in a bad mood."

"Why?"

"Don't ask me, your mother is a weirdo," Natsu said, putting his hands up in defense.

Nash rolled his eyes. "And this is why you're not my favorite parent."

Natsu's face turned neutral, not giving away anything. "Ouch, Nash. And what do you mean with that?"

"You're making mommy look like the bad guy here, while in fact it's you who is bad." Nash turned around and ran towards the cell where Jason was at. Lucy is probably there, Natsu thought.

He groaned in frustation. "I messed up, didn't I?" He knew Gray was there behind him. He heard his footsteps a second ago.

"Yup, you did."

"The vacation is really something we need," Natsu mumbled for himself to hear only.

"And you better spend the whole vacation making it up to Lucy. She deserves everything, you know, and that means your respect too, especially as your wife."

"I always respect her."

"Ignoring her sure gets the message across, no?" Gray countered, rolling his eyes.

Natsu thought about it, nodding. "You're right."

Eventually he decided to walk to the place where Jason and Jessica were locked up. Lucy was right, they weren't of any use now anyway.

Jason was glaring at him while Jessica looked like she was begging for release through her eyes.

"I want y'all to promise one thing," Natsu said. "Whatever happens, you will not falter under pressure. What happened here will stay here."

It seems like the siblings knew what was going to happened because they looked at each other with surprise.

"Just like that? You're letting us go just like that?" Jason asked skeptically.

"Well yes, but I'll have men watching over y'all for a while. Betray my trust and I'll personally come to kill you." He tilted his head. "And you wouldn't like that."

After a pause he added, "Do we have a deal?"

Jessica nodded. "Yes."

Natsu harshly grabbed the handcuffs, earning a hiss from both of them. He grabbed the key and freed them silently.

He backed away, giving them space to move freely again.

He bit his lip, not liking how they're looking so hesitant. "Do you have anywhere to go?"

They both flinched at the question, slowly shaking their head. Jason sacrificed his home when going to Raven tail.

Natsu clicked his his tongue. "Knew it." He weighed the options for a while. He sighed. He's mean but not heartless. "Follow me."

They silently obeyed, watching as Natsu was walking to his office. There behind his computer he searched up some apartments.

"Alright, choose."

They came behind him, widening their eyes when they saw apartments. "W-why?" Jessica asked.

"I'm not gonna send you homeless back. See it as a gift."

"What do you expect in return?" Jason asked, narrowing his eyes. He knew that there was always a catch. You can't expect someone with such a position to do things for free.

Natsu grinned, it almost looked fake. "Your loyalty. I'll buy you your chosen apartment, you guys can live freely again and we wouldn't bother you if you do the same. My family is top priority, if I hear that one of you turned us to the police or something... I'll kill you."

They both swallowed. "Understood."

Jessica looked at him for a second, a small smile on her face. "Thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you."

God, I'm running out of ideas by my two books. Wtf, I planned some plots and now I lost all my ideas. This chapter sucks like literally all my past chapters.

Next chapter will be the Epiloque or the end chapter for this book T^T
