~Lucy's POV
I inwardly smiled. Zeref, al though he doesn't show it, loves Nash a lot. And Nash also admires his uncle. Much less than Natsu of course, but still.
The chit-chat about who's going to kill Mr. Han was going around. My heart instantly warmed. Nash wasn't even their real family, but they are ready to do everything to save him. Just as I'd do.
"Address," I said.
Everyone went silence when I spoke. "Gelefia 23 (shut up about the name XD)" Gajeel said.
I stood up from the desk and walked through the door. I opened it but then abruptly stopped.
"What about Natsu?" I asked everyone.
Jellal raised his eyebrow. "What about him?"
Gajeel bumped his arm against his, a smirk on his face. "Bunny girl managed to make him go to bed."
Everyone had surprised looks plastered on their face. Mavis walked forward towards me, "You did?" disbelief in her voice.
Should I be offended?
"Uh yeah?" it came out as a question. I don't know why people find it weird. "Why?" I head myself ask before I could stop it.
Gray chuckled. I swiftly turned my head to him. "Because he doesn't take orders from anyone. Neither I nor Zeref managed to make him go to bed few years ago."
"You're saying you are one of the most important people in Natsu's life?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
Erza smacked me on the head. Why me? I placed my hand on the spot she smacked me. Didn't know it could sting for a while.
"We all are, Lucy. Don't be so selfish."
My eyes glinstered and I turned around. "I never am."
We all walked towards the door leading to the outside world. We already planned to go to his house and get answers out of him. "Liar," I heard Gajeel mumble to someone. I pretended as if I didn't hear him.
Then once we got that we would beat him up. Well... the boys would. I don't want anyone beaten up, well maybe, but I still tried to stop the guys. Unfortuantely the only guys I could persuade is Natsu and Nash.
Then suddenly Natsu stood there for the door, leaning against the frame. "Planning to go without me?"
I crossed my arms and glared at him, "I thought I told you to sleep."
I knew he was liking this side of me. I just knew it. Natsu walked to me and looked at the clock. "I slept for a good 30 minutes."
He picked my arms and uncrossed them but I yanked it out of his grip. "Natsu, I mean it. I want you also to be healthy and rested."
Natsu rolled his eyes, making me slap his arm. "Okay, okay. Once we paid him a visit I will sleep for 4 hours."
I wanted to complain, wanting him to sleep way more hours. But before I could Zeref places a hand on my shoulder.
"Even if you're his wife, believe me when I say that is the longest you can get him to sleep right now."
Natsu shot his brother an annoyed look. I sighed, "Fine."
"Mr. Han's address is a couple hours away," Natsu said, making sure everyone heard it. "We can't allow ourselves to drive back and forth. It would cost us too much time. We're so close yet so far."
"We're gonna rent a hotel?" Jellal asked, already pulling up his phone.
Natsu nodded. "And we can't allow ourselves to lose anyone. I need someone to stay behind, in case something happens to us. In the worst case scenario, they need to take over Fairy Tail. Y'all are my most trusted people."
Everybody narrowed their eyes, hearing him talk so seriously. Right, it isn't a fairy tale story. "Really, I'm ready to sacrifice myself for the sake of my son. I won't ask you to do the same."
"We're family, aren't we? We're ready," Gray said, throwing him a smirk. "You're not getting rid of me so soon."
Natsu sighed and closed his eyes briefly. "Thank you," he said. Mavis stuck up her hand. "I'll stay behind."
They all looked at her, surprised. "Are you sure?" Natsu asked.
She nodded. "Out of everyone here, if something happens I'm the most suitable to take over the leadership."
Gray snorted, not event trying to hide how laughable he thought it was. "I'm his right-hand man for a reason but sure go off."
Natsu frowned at Mavis, who looked at him with certainty.
"I've been here for most of my life. I make the strategies that gave us victories. I'm the mastermind behind the dealing with illegal stuff and I got everyone's trust. I may not be as good as you, but I promise if you die, Fairy Tail would be in good hands."
"Wait, hold on," I began, getting their attention. "We're got immensely support from Sabertooth too, right?"
Natsu grabbed me by my hair and kissed me, all his emotions apparent. "Lucy, that's the smartest thing you've said in a while."
Everybody snorted, watching how I smacked his head.
After Natsu dialed Sting, he made sure to explain everything to him. Sting, being the excited leader he was, immediately agreed to send him some of his strongest men. "Can I come too?"
"There is no promise you'd be getting out alive."
"I know."
They agreed to meet up at the hotel they rented.
Fifteen minutes later we were driving towards his address. They all grabbed the necessities. Natsu would be the first one to go inside.
It was a long ass drive but eventually we reached destination. We all walked behind Natsu who walked to the door. He knocked three times. We heard some noises inside and Natsu gestured for us to hide by the sidelines. The door opened and a man jumped forward, a knife in his hand.
Natsu dodged the knife and knocked it out of his hand. He held the man in some kind of uncomfortable grip. "Who are you?" the man spoke, no hint of fear in his voice.
He looked around and saw us. Then he looked at the person who was holding him. "So you have finally come, Natsu Dragneel."
Natsu's grip tightened, "Where is my son?" he whispered harshly in his ear.
"Why do you care?"
You kidding me, bro? You really asking that question? Stupid.
"I asked you a question."
Natsu dragged him inside and we all followed him. I saw some holes in the frame door and the floor. "Natsu! Stop!"
He immediately stopped and looked my way. Then after a second small arrows came from the tiny holes in the ground and door. If Natsu stepped one step further the arrow would have hit him.
"Nice one, Lucy. Natsu forgets to check around once in a while," Zeref said.
We went to the living room and Natsu pushed Han down. "Where is he?" Natsu asked again.
The man's hands were chained with hand cuffs and Natsu was one meter away from him. Him escaping would be stupid, the guys are making sure nobody comes or leaves.
He leaned against the sofa. "I don't know," he shrugged.
Natsu gave him a kick in the chest, hard. He choked and coughed a lot after that kick. "I mean it, Dragneel. I really don't know."
Natsu grabbed his colar and looked him deadly in the eyes. He then tied Han's hands to the table leg.
Natsu smirked when he heard a buzzing sound. I think it was his phone ringing. "Let's go guys," he said to us.
My mouth went open, "Why? We need information!"
My female friends agreed, all except Erza who seemed lost in her thoughts. "He confirmed it."
"What?" Mira asked confused. Natsu smirked before kicking Han in the head, making him lose consciousness. "My men found the needed information. Nash should be in that restaurant."
"How?" I asked. I noticed Erza was silent the whole time. "Jellal found his laptop in his room. There was the video of Nash recording live. It was that place. We were just distracting him."
Without another word we left the place. Then suddenly Natsu turned around and walked back in. Swiftly dodging the arrows again. Soon I heard a gun shot.
"You idiot! It's 4:00 pm. What if people heard it?"
Natsu went into the car and we drove away with the boys following us. "They should hear it. The neighbours will check it and find a dead man. Levy deleted all the cameras and flattened the network from home."
Levy didn't go with us, saying it was smarter for her to stay behind.
I was surprised, when did they discuss this at all?
I noticed his hands were gripping the wheel very tightly. I know he is scared. Well scared isn't the right word. Rather... tense.
"They will be expecting us, be prepared."
I thought he was saying it to me, however he said it to the whole group. I saw his phone on and calling each other. "We know," I heard Gray voice.
"First let meet up with Sting's men and get a plan."
After fifteen minutes we reached the hotel, seeing black cars of Sting's men already.
We met them in the biggest room. Sting was sitting on the couch, his eyes scanning us once we opened the door.
"Natsu," he said as greeting.
Natsu saw three other men with him. "This is Mark, Rufus and Orga," Sting introduced.
He scanned the men, grinning. "I know. Thank you."
I turned to Sting, also nodding in acknowledgment. After discussing all the plans and what we would do in case shit goes down, we were prepared to leave.
We were racing on the road, breaking all speed limits.
"Are you ready?" Natsu asked me softly.
I nodded, I know he wants me to stay in the car, but because of my stubborness I won't allow him.
"Just stay behind me, don't make stupid moves, always be on guard, hold your gun near you," he lectured me. I already know this. He always says it when I go on a mission with him.
"I forgot my gun," one thing I overlooked. Oops. He gestured to the drawer in front of the passenger seat. I opened it to find some weapons.
He gave me a side eye, fighting the urge to roll his eyes. "And lastly, don't run towards Nash when you see him tied up."
"What? Why?"
Natsu shot me an irritated look. "Because there is obviously a trap."
Without saying anything further he picked his phone from his lap. "Guys, get a grenade ready. I want Raven Tail down."
This is really it then?
We are going to save Nash right now?
Natsu seemed to read my thought, "Yeah we are."
