(I've been switching the point of view so many times. I hope you don't mind that. I want you guys to know what is in their minds or all together).

(Also, I know I update this book more often than 'her protector.' Yeah.... simply because I have inspiration for this and the other less).

~Nobody's POV

Natsu wrapped his hands around each other while staring at the people in front of him. They have been gathered.

"Natsu, what is it? Did you find anything?" Mavis asked, looking dead serious.

Natsu turned his conputer screen to them, a hard look plastered on his face. They stepped closer to get a clear look of the video presented. Gray, Jellal and Natsu both looked away, not wanting to watch it again.

The other watched it with eyes wide open. Mavis put a hand for her mouth, watching in shock. Natsu couldn't bear his screams anymore so he closed the video. "So that. I want you, Levy, to find out information about where the video is taken. Mavis, I want you to help her. The rest must stop me before I destroy something."

Natsu said the last thing while grinning. Zeref's eyes immediately became warned. "Not again. Natsu, not again."

Natsu chuckled hurmouslessly. "I won't. But once I find those bastards you can't stop me from murdering them."

Laxus, who had crossed his arms all the time finally spoke up. "As if we are going to stop you from murdering them."

Natsu smirked, that was what he wanted to hear. The underlying message saying that they will have his back.

"Natsu, why are we here?" Erza asked with a cold expression.

"I want some of you guys to get information from the police about us."

Levy came from behind and looked at him. "I can hack their system for information."

Natsu shook his head. "I want you to fully concentrate on hacking the video."

"I will go in a disguise," Mira said suddenly. Yes, Mira came along with Erza.

Natsu then told them a plan.

They all nodded before a knock was heard.

"Natsu?" a soft voice spoke from behind the door. There was a stinging ache in Natsu's heart. He must tell her. He shouldn't keep it a secret.

He know he will break her heart with the information, but she needed to hear something about Nash.

Natsu placed his finger on his lip, silencing everyone before they could open their mouth.

"Are you okay, Natsu? I heard you scream, did something happen to Nash? Please answer me," her voice cracked at the end.

Natsu sighed. "Come in, Lucy, you don't need to knock. You know that."

She soon opened the door and walked inside. Her footsteps were soft on the carpet and she eyed all the people in there. She felt the tense atmosphere.

"I don't want to be walking in if you were doing something I don't want to see," she tried to joke. Wanting the mood to go upwards. It didn't work.

If only, it got worse. "Leave, guys. I assigned you a mission," Natsu spoke harshly at them.

Everyone slowly took their leave, Zeref staying behind a little longer. He looked at Natsu with a concerned glance. "Don't let your anger blind you. Remember the last time?"

Natsu's expression turned cold as he watched his brother leave.

Lucy knew this all too well.

The wall in his heart build itself again. Blocking out all of his emotion to prevent him from breaking. It only happened once in the time they got Nash.

This is his way of protecting himself, showing nobody a kind of weakness, even if they're his friends... family.

Everyone left except Lucy. She stayed in front of the standing Natsu at the desk.

Without talking Natsu showed her the video, not even warning her.

The moment Lucy saw Nash tied up and looked at Natsu. "Don't tell me they're going to beat our son in this video."

No response.

Lucy sighed and began watching it. Like him she had built a wall. A wall, stopping her from crying. But once she saw the video it was immediately knocked over.

Her hand went for her mouth. "No."

She clutched her chest. "No!" she screamed, tears streaming down her face.

Lucy was crying so hard it was painful to watch. Her voice was fully cracked now.

And Natsu was just standing there again. Lucy in front of him, crying. And yet he didn't lift a single finger.

Natsu clenched his hands around the end if the desk, smacking himself mentally.

Why the fuck am I just standing here? Went through his mind. His wife needed comfort. Women were emotionally weaker than men, normally. Some exceptions.

And Lucy could definitely not handle this kind of pain.

Natsu was afraid. Afraid for his wall to crumble. There was a door in his wall, a door for Lucy and Nash. His crew could climb over the wall, with struggles. His real family didn't even need to try.

The moment Natsu let her in again he would also break down.

Repeating that over and over again in his head came to one conclusion. What he said was bullshit. Natsu loves Lucy more than anything.

What he was thinking was selfish, he didn't think about Lucy.

I am so stupid, Natsu's voice rang through his head.

He hugged Lucy tightly. Lucy held onto Natsu. "They are torturing him. Those heartless monsters are torturing a kid for revenge."

Natsu shushed her, gesturing for her not to speak anymore. He went with his hand through his hair and kissed her forehead.

"I will get them back."

Lucy looked at him. "You said that for the past few days. You didn't get anywhere so far. Natsu, I want my baby boy back. I want a peaceful life without us having to worry about the danger out here," her voice came out as a hopeless whisper.

Natsu stepped back, disbelief on his face. "Are you saying this is my fault?"

Lucy shook her head in anger, angry at the world for turning against them. "I didn't. But you have to say the moment Nash was born we had to be more alert."

Natsu exaggeratedly threw his hands in the air. "Well I'm sorry I am not the perfect sort of husband or father you would want. That I have a dangerous life and you guys too thanks to me."

This has taken the wrong side. Guilt flashed through Lucy's eyes. "Natsu.. you're perfect to me. The only thing I hate about this life is the constant danger."

A hurt expression took over his face. He turned his head the other way. "I'm sorry, but you have to get used to it."

Lucy laughed, no humour in her tone, "Are you saying you are used to this," she gestured with her hands fiercely around her, meaning the situation, "that this doesn't affect you in any way because you are 'used' to this?"

"I am not used to this, Lucy. I've never got anyone to love as much as I love you and Nash."

Lucy stepped a little bit back and shook her head. "As for me. I will never get used to this, the constant fearing of that someone can be out there to get us."

Their tone was replaced with a sad and low one.

"I can't just give up my lifestyle. I hold too much responsibility and I can't just not do it. This is my life, and you guys are apart of mine. I don't regret it at all."

Lucy's eyes glanced to the screen again. The video stopped when Nash was on the ground. "Not even a tiny bit because Nash is in this?" It held no judgement nor was Lucy expecting anything from Natsu.

"You wouldn't even have Nash without me."

Lucy closed her eyes and closed one hand into a fist. "I know that. I know. I also wouldn't have it any other way. But like I said, I hate this situation. I hate it. As a mother I am responsible for his safety, and I am not doing a great job so far."

Natsu stepped forward. "And what makes that me?"

Lucy was taken aback from his question.

"Am I just his biologically father? You're wrong."

"I know I am!" Lucy shouted, her tone raising.

"I am his father and I also hold the same responsibility about him. Don't you think I don't blame myself already? That I don't blame myself for his situation there? Because I do. I am the fucking reason why this is happening. I pulled you into this life—"

Lucy stepped also closer to him again. "And this is where you're wrong. I knew the risks, and I took them. We are both to blame for Nash's situation."

"You really hurt me then. Do you really want a peaceful life? Because I can't give you that and you know it. Did you think about leaving me to have a peaceful life?" his question was ridiculous, and he knew it. But he wanted to hear it. His world was crumbling down at the moment and he needed some assurance.

Lucy sighed. "Yes."

Natsu stared at her in disbelief, wanting nothing more that this was a dream. A big fucking dream where everything was fake . But he knew it wasn't. It was a nightmare cone true.

"Yes, I want a peaceful life. But without you? No, never. I seek my peace in your arms, the way you hold me. I seek my peace in Nash's smile. You guys bring me peace. If we didn't have enemies it would be perfect."

Natsu smiled a little, a tiny little one but noticable. "Perfect lives don't exist."

Lucy shook her head again. "It does. My life is perfect when I am with you and Nash."

"And now?" Natsu doubtfully asked.

"Now? Now my peace is disturbed and Raven Tail will burn down to the ground," her voice was threatening, scary even.

Natsu embraced her in a hug. He rested his head on her shoulder. "I don't want to fight against you. I want to fight for you while you and Nash are sleeping peacefully. I want to carry our burden alone, only for you two to not have it."

"As if I'll let you. You know that I will fight besides you."

Natsu sighed in relief, he didn't need a fight with her right now.

Lucy looked up and stared.

Mother, please help me. I beg you.

And then Lucy cried again and Natsu was close to trembling.

Damn, this chapter gave me feels. And I wrote it.

Got this chapter bam in a half of an hour. I really need a plot for her protector so I can also write those chapters faster...

Sort of important note:
Next week begins my test week, meaning I have everyday two tests 6 days long. And of course I'll be learning a lot... I think you get the message. Slower updates... even slower...
