~Nobody's POV

"Natsu, what did you do to Jason?" Lucy asked Natsu, who just arrived in his office.

Natsu stared blankly at her before answering. "He is still alive."

Lucy was a little taken back from the distant tone in his voice. Natsu was walking over to the desk, sitting down loudly.

Lucy walked to the opposite side of the desk and placed her hand down. "What's wrong? I thought you wanted to kill Jason."

Natsu huffed and wrote something down. "I still do, but I won't," was his answer. Lucy was beginning to get irritated with his vague answers.

She slowly walked to his side and pushed his chair back. Natsu let her. "And why won't you? As far as I can remember you have the upperhand here."

Lucy sat down on his lap and looked him in the eye. "Family."

Lucy was still confused about everything. "What?" Natsu put his head on her shoulder, sighing heavily. He put his arm around her waist to keep her still.

"Something with his family, that's why," he answered. Natsu put slow kisses on Lucy's neck.

"And that stops you from killing him?" Lucy was completely confused. She wasn't against him for not killing Jason, it's just that knowing Natsu he would want to.

"You know how I think about family. Jason didn't do it willingly."

"It didn't stop you from killing your enemies who have families," Lucy pointed out. "Why is he the exception?"

"I'm all for killing my enemies no matter the reason, but when an innocent relative is involved, I cannot do that so easily."

"And yet so many innocent people still get hurt," she countered.

Natsu's eyebrow twitched as he grabbed her by the neck, pulling her closer. "Stop interrogating me or may I remind you that you shouldn't be too curious about shit not involving you."

Lucy swallowed, groaning at herself. She was getting too used to bossing him around.

He let go of her neck again, smirking when she pulled away annoyedly.

She wanted to open her mouth again. "If it is another question about Jason or anything related to, I won't answer."

Lucy smirked. "And why exactly?"

"Jason this, Jason that, it looks like you're obsessed with him even though he is your ex."

"How cute," she said as he was kidding her neck, a bite her and there. They sat there in silence for a couple of minutes.

Lucy stood up and walked to the opposite chair. Natsu wanted to pull her back on his lap, but he resisted the urge. "Do I smell jealousy?"

She was teasing him, and he knew it.

Natsu looked away. He wasn't frustated anymore. "Yeah Lucy, I am jealous— Stop looking at me like that."

Lucy was grinning at him, amusement dancing in her eyes.

Suddenly Gray entered the office and slowed down when he saw Lucy. "Am I interrupting something?"

He was smirking when he saw a hickey on Lucy's neck. But he didn't see any of them out of breath, still he decided to tease them. Natsu glared at him.

Lucy saw him eyeing the spot Natsu just kissed her fiercely on. She immediately picked her phone and put camera on. Yup, a clearly visible red spot.

"Curse you, Natsu," Lucy groaned while looking at a snickering Gray.

Natsu winked at her, stood up and went to Gray. "What now?"

Gray walked to him and whispered something for only him to hear; "Jason has a wish."

Natsu gritted his teeth at the mention of his name. He turned to Lucy and gave her a look.

"Stay here," he ordered. Natsu walked through the dark halls and soon rushed the room in. To his surprise he saw Wendy cleaning Jason's wounds.

Wendy has grown to a beautiful, kind-hearted young woman. Natsu was proud of his little sister, but that didn't take away the confusion as to why she was helping him.

The sound of the door opening shocked both of them. Wendy's eyes grew pale and Jason's ones were filling with fear. "Wendy? What the fuck are you doing here?" he snarled, furrowing his brows.

Wendy immediately stood up turned around. She rubbed her hands on her clothes, staring at Natsu with a dead stare.

"It is low for you to let Jason stay in the position you left him in," Wendy said and glared at her own brother.

Natsu crossed his arms. Wendy was never the one for violence. She wanted peace and helped people in need. Nothing what you would expect from the sister of a mafia leader. And nothing she would ever receive. Their oath bound their lives full of blood and murder until they die.

Natsu admitted that 'maybe' he could have at least set Jason up right, but no.

"Leave, Wendy," Natsu said. Wendy stood in front of Jason with her arms wide, as if she was protecting him. "No, I won't let you kill him."

Natsu gritted his teeth and glared back. He gave her his full leader stare. "I. Said. Leave."

His tone was clear. He doesn't take no for an answer.

Wendy slowly let her arms sunk down. A guilty expression taking over her features. "Promise you won't kill him."

Natsu leaned against the door and glared at Jason, who was looking at the ground.

He was on his knees and his hands tied behind his back. Legs tied to the ground. "If he doesn't provoke me," Natsu said lowly.

"He doesn't deserve this!" Wendy yelled. Natsu glanced at Wendy. She was so sure with her opinion. Their mafia made sure that their women were strong-willed, no exception.

She walked slowly to the door, where he stood. She walked till they were feet away from each other. Natsu and Wendy were glaring at each other.

You wouldn't expect if from Wendy, would you?

Nastu pushed his little sister softly away, towards the door. Wendy was greeted with the light from the hall.

She turned around to face him again but he was already walking towards Jason.

"We'll see, we'll see."

Wendy opened her mouth to speak, but couldn't utter a single word. Finally she just left.

Natsu stared in front of Jason, taking notice how well Wendy cleaned his wounds. "What are you doing here?"

Natsu sat down to be on the same height as him, looking surprisingly calm. "Your wish."

Jason spat on the ground and stared at Natsu like he's grown two heads. "What about it? You said you wouldn't grant my wishes anyway."

Jason tilted his head up for a moment. When he returned to Natsu again he sat on his phone.

He wasn't even listening!

"You don't even listen," Jason spoke in disbelief.

No response. Jason mentally rolled his eyes. "So?"

Again no response.

"Just respond asshole."

Natsu still ignored him, even when Jason insulted him.

Natsu was scrolling and tapping his phone repeately.

After one minute silence he finally looked up. "Okay, so your sister's name is Jessica."

Jason's eyes widened and he stared at him with a very doubtful look. "What do you want?" he demanded.

"Your wish?" Natsu repeated again.

Jason groaned. If he dies here, at least he told someone. "I just want my sister safe."

Natsu smirked when Jason told him. "And?" he persisted.

Jason clenched his hand. "And what?"

Natsu stood up and dust himself. "How much do you want her back? How much are you prepared to give, or take?"

"My whole fucking life, okay. That is how much I want my sister back."

Natsu gestured for him to go further. "I am prepared to die for her and only her. She didn't deserve the kidnapping."

Natsu looked to the black wall beside him. "You know, Jason, we are somehow a little bit the same."

Jason snorted, even in his position. It didn't bother Natsu much though. "How come?" he asked, not genuinely interested.

"You would do anything for your friend," Natsu spoke silently.

"Are you deaf? I said sister, not friend."

Natsu grinned. "Isn't your sister your friend, because if not, then it's pitiful."

Jason looked away, knowing he spoke the truth. Your family could be your greatest enemy or your best ally. And Jason and Jessica's relationship is precious.

Natsu put one hand in his pocket and was in serious-mode again. "Tell me what their plan is and I would look out your sister."

"Blackmail. Nice," Jason said with sarcasm.

Natsu stared at Jason as if he wasn't serious. "I wouldn't call it blackmail. I gave you a chance to accept that I'm willing to get your sister back."

Jasen bit his lip, probably weighing the pros and cons.

"Why are you even hesitating? You're nothing to them. Nothing. They aren't worth your loyalty anyways."

"Their plan? You want their plan?" Jason asked carefully. Natsu nodded.

"If I do tell, you'll keep your promise, right?"

It was silence before Natsu spoke. "So what's their plan?"

"Right?" Jason asked again, impatiently.

Natsu was having fun in this, seeing Jason's tough wall slowly break. "Tell me their plan and I will answer."

Jason was continuedly moving on the ground against his rope.

"Promise me!"

"I won't say it again. What's their plan, Jason?"

"I SAID PROMISE ME!"

Tears were going down from Jason's eyes.

Natsu slowly breathed out and stared sincerely at him. "I promise."

That was all it took for Jason to cry again. Thanking him silently for giving him hope.

Natsu let him cry till he was done, not saying a word. The only thing heard in the room was the sobbing of Jason.

After he has calmed down he finally spoke.

"They... they want your son. Or someone very close to you. Once they have they will break you emotionally with the person they are holding. They will have a list or whatever."

Natsu glared straight at the wall and if looks could punch, the wall would be broken.

Jason stared at Natsu, looking how he processed the new information. It wasn't that of a shocker, but still. Natsu kind of expected it, but seriously?

Even he wouldn't want to kidnap a child.

Theu both were shocked when they heard a loud scream. It came from upstairs.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

Natsu knew that voice from everywhere and his eyes widened. He would recognize it even if there were thousands of people, no matter how many there were.

That's how good he knows the voice.

He immediately left Jason and ran towards the sound. Only one thought in his head.

Lucy.
