~Nobody's POV

"Are you nervous?" Natsu asked. He was sitting on a couch with his legs crossed. He looked at his son who was trying to fix his hair. Natsu chuckled to himself when asking the question. Of course he was.

"Shut up, old man, and help me," Nash said and glared at Natsu's reflection.

Natsu raised one eyebrow and stared at Nash bluntly. "Who are you calling 'old man'?" He was feighing hurt.

"You, duh, as if it isn't obvious." Nash rolled his eyes and tried to do two things at the same time, which wasn't succeeding by the way.

Natsu glared at him and stood up, standing straight while walking to his son. Nash stood his ground and straightened his back. He was at the same height as his father, but Natsu obviously got the more intimidating look.

Nash has grown a lot over the years, and he is a gentleman now... Most of the days anyways. He matured and his features were gorgeous. He is already 22 now, ready to do whatever he wants. The kidnapping was long way buried in his mind. He remembers, but he has healed over time.

Of course lots of other incidents happened in his teenager's years.

He went back to school where he made new friends, and he found his way back to himself.

"You and Thea are made for each other," Natsu began while rolling his eyes. "Both an asshole and a bitch." His tone indicating he wasn't serious though. Nash immediately took the defensive side. "Stop offending her, old man. I love her and I'm going to marry her." Nash's tone didn't leave any room for other insults from his father.

Natsu grabbed the bottle of gel and did it for him while Nash began brushing his teeth. Natsu gave a small smile. "I know."

His smile disappeared and he glared at Nash's reflection. "And stop calling me old man. I'm only 46 years."

"Still old."

Natsu's nostrils flared and he grabbed the whole container of gel. He put it all in Nash's hair as payback. He made Nash's hair stick out in all the directions.

Nash immediately put out the toothbrush and rinsed off the toothpaste in his mouth. He immediately touched his hair and groaned. "You fucking prick! Now I have to shower again!"

Natsu patted his back and walked away. "Karma is an asshole, isn't it?"

"Bitch," Nash remarked at his father. He laughed it off and headed back to the couch.

Natsu held up his hands defensively. "Hey, in my opinion it will do you good. You stinked from the sweat."

"I swear, get lost, dad."

"Just go shower again. I promise I will help you, for real. It's a special day for you, I can't ruin it."

"You already ruined my mood," Nash responded and took of his shirt. The scars from every incident were still visible. The white lines on his body were a daily reminder of what happened. He just gave them a glance before walking in the bathroom. He was used to seeing it. He slammed the door shut, pissed at his father.

"Seeing Thea will lighten it!" Natsu shouted. He chuckled at himself before going on his phone.

Nash's eyes always lightens up when he sees Thea. They met in high school, starting as acquaintances and eventually getting together. The love they got for each other is admirable. Even though they always got snarky remarks thrown at each other, they love each other. Thea is a beautiful woman with black eyes and brown hair. Sarcastic as hell but awesome.

Reiki walked in, he has also grown-up. Nash and Reiki's friendship is still as strong as ever. He was Nash's best man.

"Where is Nash?" he asked while looking around. He heard the sound of the shower and he sighed. "He still hasn't showered?"

"Oh, he has, I only ruined his hair for him," Natsu replied.

"Jerk." Reiki shot an accusing look, but it still held amusement.

"Hey, it's only fair I did that because he continuesly says old man."

"Old man," Reiki purposely says to piss him off. A smirk formed on his lips.

Natsu rolled his eyes. "You guys became much more annoying these days."

Reiki smirked and looked him dead in the eye. "We learn from the best."

Natsu gave him a small laugh. "I always knew Erza was a good teacher." Oh, he dares.

Reiki's eyebrow shot up and he threw Natsu a glare. "She will kick your ass when she hears."

"No surprise there. I'm getting my ass beaten no matter what I do."

Five minutes later Nash returned and dried his hair with the towel. "Yo." He acknowledges Reiki's presence. He threw his wet towel at Natsu who succesfully caught it.

Reiki was already in his black suit and threw Nash his tuxedo. "Alright, let's get you ready. This only happens one a lifetime—"

"hopefully," Natsu added with a threatening look. Nash got annoyed and flipped him his other towel.

"Reiki, get him out, I can't bear another look of him," Nash commanded his best friend.

Natsu's laugh boomed through the room, but he didn't move at all. Reiki walked to Natsu, trying to look intimidating. As if Natsu would be intimidated though.

"You heard him, get lost."

Natsu rose his eyebrow menacingly, causing for Reiki to immediately chicken out. "Nash, I can't do this. Your father still hasn't lost his stare."

"Scaredy-cat," Nash said and grabbed another pack of gel before glaring at Natsu.

"As if you aren't scared of my mother," Reiki countered with a smirk as he saw Nash shivering.

"Touché," Nash mumbled.

Natsu laughed at their little exchange. "Some things never change. Now let's help Nash get ready. He will piss his pants when he sees Thea, I already know that," Natsu teased.

"I second that."

"Fuck both of you," Nash snarled.

Yeah... the no curse rule Natsu and Lucy had, didn't exist anymore. Natsu ruined it. He didn't tried to hold himself back anymore when Nash turned 13. Nash got used to his father cursing his rivals... and Gray.

"We rather not," Reiki replied with an eye roll.

-with Lucy-

"You look so beautiful," Lucy said as she stared at Thea in her wedding dress. She was nervous as hell.

"You do," Evelyn said. She was 14 now, almost 15. Evelyn had inherited her mother's personality and traits. Though she could be just as moody as the two males in the family. She and her brother shared an unbreakable bond, and Natsu was right about the two things. First Natsu being Evelyn's favourite parent, and second Nash being the one she looks up to.

"Thanks," Thea said with a small smile, trying to hide her nervousness.

Evelyn grinned in the mirror. "Believe me, Nash is so much more nervous right now, I can practically feel his sweat."

"That doesn't calm me," Thea said with an eye roll, appreciating her effort though. Lucy laughed loudly. "We handled eveything. Nothing can go wrong," Lucy tried to assure her.

"Except if he says 'I don't'," Thea mumbled. She looked in the mirror and put some baby hairs out of the way.

Evelyn, who sat on her phone, glanced up at her. She raised her eyebrow subtly. "Yeah, sure Nash will. If he does that I'm hitting him."

Then make-up artist came and put Thea in a chair. "Please make it natural," she mumbled. The artist nodded as they began to work on her face.

Lucy in the meanwhile called Natsu.

"Yo, Natsu, how are you and Nash doing?"

"Well... you see—"

"What did you do?" Lucy asked irritated. She took a quick glance to Thea. She held a hand on her speaker. "She said natural! Don't go overboard," she said loudly at the artists, who wanted to put red eyeshadow on her eyelids.

"Yes, ma'am, we're sorry."

She returned to the phonecall. "Sorry, Natsu, what did you say?"

"He's just done with changing his clothes."

Lucy rolled her eyes, grunting. "Why do the males in the family like to do everything last-minute?"

"I don't know, ask him."

"Shut up," Nash said annoyed. "You made me take another shower by ruining my hair." Natsu was too late with trying to block the speaker.

Lucy scowled, loudly enough for Natsu to hear. "If you ruin this day, Natsu, I swear to God—"

"I promise I won't."

"You better. The ride is 20 minutes and the wedding is in one hour. I'll hopefully see you then," Lucy said. Her voice had an underlying threat in them, and Natsu knew it.

"Who was that?" Thea asked, opening her eyes to look at the mirror. The artist worked fast, and she liked the outcome.

"Nash will fall head over the heals if he sees you," Lucy said, nodding in approval. "Oh, and it was just your father-in-law." She winked at Thea, causing her to be more nervous than she already was.

"Oh, and Thea," Evelyn said. Thea took a sip of her water, trying to calm herself down. She nodded, gesturing for her to talk. "Please make my brother a less annoying idiot than he already is."

Despite everything, Evelyn managed to make Thea laugh. "No worries, I'll try."

They chuckled.

They messed around a little bit until it was time to go. Thea and Nash both wanted it in the open air, so they decided it to be near the sea on a hill. It was a beautiful day now.

And now, it was time.

-Wedding ceremony- (this is really cheesy stuff so if you don't want to read that, the door is left above... well the wedding is cheesy stuff).

Thea walked to the middle of the arranged ceremony, her mother supporting her. Heck, she was nervous.

Nash was waiting there, at the end of the walk. Reiki being Nash's best man and Yvonne Thea's maid of honour. Their friends and family surrounding them, and his eyes on the one person he's marrying. His eyes lightened up indeed, seeing her in the dress, nervous as hell.

Great to not be the only one, he thought.

Nash stuck out his hand, which Thea accepted. Her mother gave him a threatening look to not break her heart. But he ignored her. His attention was to her. "You're beautiful."

Thea made herself comfortable opposite her and raised an eyebrow. Seeing him made her worries disappear somehow. "Only today?"

Nash gulped and immediately shook his head. "Of course not! I mean... you know what I mean," Nash slightly pouted. They chuckled, before being interrupted by the man who is in the middle some steps further.

He began talking, about them, the wedding, everything. Nash glanced at his family, Natsu, Lucy, Evelyn, Grandeeney, Zeref, Wendy... basically the closest people in the mafia. And Thea's side of friends and family. They aren't afraid of someome trying to ruin it. Fairy Tail got much more powerful. Anyone who now wants to attack them is either brave or very stupid.

Nash focused back to see her. Without knowing it, they already began.

"Do you, Nash Jacob Dragneel, take Thea Shanelle Okayama, as your lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"

"I do," Nash said immediately, causing everyone to chuckle at his impatience.

Natsu leaned in to Lucy's ear. "I bet he wanted to interrupt after one second and just say it."

Lucy giggled and turned to him. "Oh I bet you, he wanted to. Like father like son, right?"

Nash shot them a warning glance, apparently he heard what they said. Natsu also narrowed his eyes at his wife. Ouch.

"Do you, Thea Shanelle Okayama, take Nash Jacob Dragneel, as your lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"

Thea nodded, a smile on her face. "I do."

"Please exchange your vows now," the man said and gave the groom and bride the papers.

Well... Nash was sick hearing his full name already, it takes too long so he basically skipped that, even if it's uncalled for.

"I, Nash Dragneel—"

"You kidding me?" Lucy whispered, only Evelyn and Natsu heard it. She had raised her eyebrow, looking unimpressed at her son. "That lazy ass brother of mine," Evelyn said with an eye roll.

"—take you, Thea Okayama, to be my wife, my best friend; the one I want to share my life forever with. I promise to always be there for you, to share my deepest dreams, secrets and fears with you and to accept you and your flaws. I hope you will take care of my heart and my soul, they're yours. I'm yours, forever. I promise to love you for who you are.

"I want to grow old with you, through all the hardships we will face, the dark times that will come, I want to conquer it all with you. I promise to take care of you, through the brightest and darkest days... for as long as we both shall live." Nash took a deep breath, hoping his vow was good enough.

He struggled days with writing it, his mind blank at the time. Only because of Evelyn he could make it. She reads enough cliche books to have an imagitive mind.

Evelyn smiled widely at her brother, a look of pride on her face. She gave him thumbs up when he glanced at her.

"I, Thea Shanelle Okayama, take you, Nash Jacob Dragneel"—putting emphasize on their middle names Nash purposely didn't mention—"to be my husband, my best friend; the one I want to share my life forever with.

"They say pain in inevitable, and it really is, but you just have to find the ones worth suffering for. And I decided that you are one of those special people. I promise to love you as much as I can, and I hope you give me your love in return. I will take care of you, make you feel home, make us fall over with laughter, and share the joyful memories with you." Thea took a deep breath. "I promise to cherish you and our time together, through the bad and the good, the dark and the light, for as long as we both shall live."

"I love how they are so sweet now, and once we get home they will annoy the crap out of each other," Natsu whispered, earning a chuckle from those who heard it.

After the exchanging of the ring they were pronounced husband and wife.

-one week later-

"Come here!" Thea thundered from her new house, who she's sharing with Nash. Evelyn, Natsu and Lucy stayed over for a day.

"Stop yelling, geez," Natsu said. He and Lucy were already seated at the table. Evelyn just came out from her room, rubbing lazily on her eyes.

"Did you sleep?" Lucy asked. She nodded, not caring to elaborate it. They have been great parents so far. They were open-minded and not that annoying, so Evelyn was fine with it.

"Come downstairs immediately or I will chop your head off and cook it for me to eat!"

Nash rolled his eyes and walked down, his phone still in his hands. Thea placed everything already on the table. Nash sat next to her, absently listening to them. Suddenly his phone is snatched out of his hands.

He looked up annoyed, only to find Thea with an amused smile. "No phone."

"Fine," Nash said. He leaned forward and gave Thea a kiss on the cheek.

Then his mad face morphed into a breathtaking smile. "Did you guys heard of the soccer team Reiki is on? I can't wait to see my guy play." He was like a kid, excited over a new toy. Their friendship is so adorable.

"We're supporting them, right?" Nash asked to Thea. She nodded. "Can Yvonne and I go shopping tomorrow?" Both the males groaned at the word shopping.

"Sure, but don't expect me to go with you," Nash muttered.

"Why do you want to go shopping?"

"Well, Yvonne just found a new job and we have to get some decent clothes for her."

"Just let her borrow some of my mom."

"No," she deadpanned.

"Why put so much effort in it?" Nash wondered. Thea rolled her eyes and looked at the quiet Evelyn.

"So, how are you doing, Evelyn? Nice boys in your school?" Thea wiggled her eyebrows. Evelyn cheeks flushed and she looked down at her plate. "Well—"

"Who do I need to beat up?" Natsu interrupted, a serious expression on his face.

"Shut it, dad."

Natsu held up his hands defensively. "I don't want you to get hurt."

"I'm fourteen, almost fifteen... anyways... yes, there are, they are my friends," Evelyn said and smiled.

"You have guys as your 'friends'?" Nash asked with a skeptical look. He was like the over-protective type of someone dear to him... like every Dragneel. Evelyn picked up the protective tone and shook her head.

"I just don't like hanging out with the girls in my class, they're great, but I prefer hanging out with the boys. And even if I dated someone, I wouldn't tell you." Evelyn stuck out her tongue playfully.

"Why not?" Nash's voice boomed through the room. He and his father were savering the plate like a race. Natsu, the unbeaten champion, won, of course.

Thea smacked her husband on the chest. "Because you all think of her like she's glass. She can look out for herself. It's not fair, guys can do everything and girls are limited."

"Finally," Evelyn said, sounding irritated, but glad someone said it.

"Luce," Natsu whined, "What was the age we let Evelyn date?"

"Sixteen, just like Nash," Lucy said with an evil grin. Natsu cried anime style. "Too soon! Why not let her date when she has children?"

"Dad!" Evelyn shouted irritated. Nash and Thea chuckled, sharing a knowing look.

"Sixteen," Lucy emphasized it slowly, letting him know that's her final decision. Natsu grunted, knowing he lost once again.

"Fine," Natsu spat, obviously not happy with the decision. "But if any motherfucker hurts her I will kill him."

"Wow, I'm so happy to be in this family," Thea breathed out.

Nash kissed her on the cheek and smiled. "Me too... me too."

One hour later Nash crashed Evelyn's room. He came barging in, just randomly like he has been doing all the time. Evelyn was on her phone, scrolling through an online book and looked up.

"What do you want?" She raised her eyebrow. Nash ploffed himself next to her on bed, grabbing his own phone and doing something.

"Why? Can't I just enjoy my sister's presence?"

Evelyn rolled her eyes, waving it off. "Yeah, yeah." She stared Nash in the eye as he looked at his phone.

"Stop looking at me," Nash grumbled.

Evelyn bursted out in laughter, grinning widely. It wasn't the first time she randomly bursted out laughing.

Nash gave her the stink eye, glaring at her. "You are so crazy. Why are you always laughing at my face?"

She waved her hand, trying to calm herself down. "I'm not."

She looked at him again and laughed.

Nash pouted. "Enlighten me. What's so funny?"

She covered her mouth and took some deep breaths. After a couple seconds she was normal again. "Remember when we ate Dutch mini pancakes? With a lot of powdered sugar? You... almost choked... when I tried to feed you." She tried her best explaining without picturing it.

Failed.

She still remember the tiny, plastic fork stabbed into a mini pancake with powdered sugar. It was like two months ago when he took her out. Nash bent down so his sister could feed it to him. Only he sniffed the powder and basically ended up choking on it. He spitted out the pancake, what a waste. It was so random Evelyn loved that moment. They were getting weird stares but Evelyn was too busy laughing and patting Nash's back to care.

"Please don't remind me," Nash said while shuddering. "I almost choked and you just laughed at my face. Great sister you are..."

She grinned. "I'm the best." She said it so confidently that Nash couldn't help but inspect Evelyn. She wasn't the shy, unsociable kid she used to be. Nash watched her grow up throughout the years. She grew more comfortable and overcame her fears. She is as annoying as a sister can be, but Nash loves her more than anything.

Nash snorted. "Please, I beg to differ. You're so annoying and stupid."

"And you're a fatass pig," Evelyn countered.

Nash narrowed his eyes and sat up, ready to strangle his sister. "Alright that's it. I can only accept so little of your insults!" he playfully exclaimed and began tickling Evelyn.

"Please... stop!" she begged through her laughs.

"Never."

Evelyn squirmed and eventually glared. She swung up her legs and kicked Nash in the leg. It took him by surprise and Evelyn soon grabbed his arm. Shoving him off of her and using the arm to turn him around.

Evelyn had Nash's front pressed against the bed and his hand pushed unto his back like a cop would do to a criminal. Nash grunted at the action, once again underestimating his sister.

Evelyn smirked before letting him go. "Yeah, remember when you won? Nope, me neither. Don't forget I got trained by dad and Erza." Being the daughter of a mafia leader has its perks. Well, the leader of Fairy Tail, that is. She can't go on missions yet, saying she's too young. But she will. With her family. She wants her first mission with her family.

Nash turned around and rolled his eyes. "I go easy on you. You won't stand a chance against me."

Evelyn grinned. "So? I still won. Now shut up. You're annoying."

They both chuckled.

Moments like these mean a lot.

Family moments mean a lot.

"Oh, shut up. I'm the older brother, I have the right to be annoying to you.."

She returned to her book and snorted. "When pigs fly."

This was it, guys. The last chapter of this book. Thank you guys for sticking with me till the end.
