Rin's POV

Len....

He has become a total stranger to me. It's as if some demon had started living in his body. I can't stand that. I can't understand why...

He was always so cheerful and happy. He could get angry so easily, but he would forget about that easily too. He was trying his best to become better than Kaito, but at the end, I think they were actually very good friends. Rivals, but friends.

At first, he was just a bit evil. He was making bad jokes and pranks on everybody, especially those from the Vocaloid crew. He liked to make fun of Kaito the most. And Miku. It's not like him to do anything against her.
But then he stopped going to school. He didn't go to studio either. He locked himself in his room. He would come out only to take some food and go to the restroom. All communications we had have disappeared... I can't recognize my twin.

Where did you go, Len?

I was going home from my last song recording that day. I was wondering how I could make Len get out of his bedroom. I had a lot of plans... And I've tried a lot of them before too. Even the one where I said he won't get any banana if he keeps acting like that. And his reaction was... No reaction. As always. Whatever I did he would never react as my old Lenny...

I really didn't know what to do.

I almost got home when something unexpectedly happened.

I saw Len on the doors of our house.

"L-Len!" I shouted, but he ignored me.

He ran into the forest.

"Wait!"I ran after him. But he was too fast for me. I've lost him in the trees in a few seconds. I couldn't go after him like this. So I came back home...

The doors wide opened. I entered the house... And a shock wave hit me.

Everything was destroyed... The couch was broken, the TV was crashed, everything made of glass was in pieces, paintings on the walls were on the ground. I went through the room and I couldn't believe my eyes.

Len did this? No... I can't believe this...

On the overturned bookcase there was a black cat sitting. It had big eyes and it stared at me. Then I saw a book on the ground under the cat. It was opened and the first word I saw was:

PARADICHLOROBENZENE

I knew this book, it was for the chemical class. Then i suddenly stepped on something red. It was a huge line written across the room. And there was more of them. I thought of blood at first. I mean, knowing Len in this state... Fortunately I found out it was just paint.

But my body froze when I saw the meaning. Those red lines formed the letters... Not just letters, numbers as well.

It said:

C6H4Cl2

I took the book. I wasn't sure if I was right. The book said it was the chemical formula for that 'paradichlorobenzene'. So, it really was connected.

Oh Len... What does this mean?
