Chapter 2: The Creepy Child
Your POV
I woke up to be on a strange bed with a strange design. I sat up slowly and noticed that I was no longer in the clothes that had gotten ripped from my escape from what I had began to call utter hell. My wounds that I had gained were closed and cleaned. I rose a brow as I looked around. It was a very dark place that I was at. I jumped and pulled the blanket with the stitched pattern closer to me.
I watched a blinding light was clicked on and a shadow of something taller than I was with something protruding from his head. I watched as the shadow had moved from the doorway of where the light began and moved over the small table next to me and over to where I sat. I moved my feet closer to my body as if the shadow would have caused me some sort of injury if it were to come in contact with me.
I slowly moved the blanket from my body as I stood. I walked to where the light was and I knelt down behind a counter as I saw two rather large feet in front of me. I tilted my head as I wondered what could be so tall that it would have such size feet.
"You must be (y/n)."
I jumped and hid behind the counter. The shoes walked around and the being knelt down to my level. It had round glasses and silver hair. Behind the round glasses it had a pair of emerald eyes that I had found security in. Along with the emerald eyes it had a stitched line that went from the bridge of his nose to under his left eye.
I noticed that he had a rounded face and a screw looking object that was in his head. I stopped noting his features as I watched a large hand come into my view. I gazed at it before I let my small shaky hand leave from the closeness of my body and to his. He slowly stood as he pulled me with him. He never took his eyes off of mine. I was standing up straight in front of him.
"Now tell me. How did you manage to get out of the asylum?"
I gulped.
"How do you know my name?" I asked.
He moved his other hand to my shoulder as he knelt down in front of me again.
"Will you wait right here. I can explain how I know your name and where you are from." he said.
I nodded and I watched him as he quickly left and came back with a yellow folder. He handed it to me and I opened it. It was marked with my name and had all of my information. I looked at him.
"Where did you get this?" i asked
"That is very simple actually. I have been researching your file since you had been admitted at the asylum." he said
I nodded as I looked at the file.
"Now, will you tell me how you managed to escape the asylum?" he asked.
I put the file down and sighed. I climbed onto the bar stool. I looked at my hands and gave a light sigh.
"I'll tell you. But as long as you promise me something." I said.
I looked at him and he nodded for me to continue.
"Promise me you won't send me back." I said.
He nodded and I sighed again.
-Flashback-
It was a regular tuesday morning. The nurses would be in my room soon for my regular bathing. I remember when I looked to my hands. They were dirty and bruised from the constant way of being handled. The asylum was corrupted beyond repair and no one on the outside took notice. They often ruled it off that we did this to ourselves.
Anyway. The Tuesday morning was the day I planned my escape. It was fairly easy to do. But it just depended on if I had really wanted to or not. I did. I remember the two nurses that came in. The both had fake smiled on their faces. I looked at them with more hate in the world than a normal person should have in their soul.
They walked over to me to begin my bath. I grabbed the first one by the wrist and pulled her to the bed with me. I had kept a fairly sharp pencil next to me. Since I was allowed to draw and what not. Their mistake really. I had stabbed her with it and blood began to coat her white dress and my old mattress. The other one looked at me and gasped in horror.
She tried to call for help but I had already moved from the bed and had her to the floor before she had blinked. I covered her mouth and placed a finger over my lips. Her blue eyes widened in fear as i began to smile. She began to squirm and scream. I sighed and grabbed the soap from the bin they were to wash me in and shoved it past her teeth and down her throat.
She soon grew still as she suffocated on the bar of soap. I chuckled lightly as I stood and looked at the door.
"That is what happens to people with foul mouths." I said and chuckled once more.
I left my room and began to make my way to the front lobby. I saw a few guards in front of me and I turned. There were two behind me. They began to move quickly to me. I sighed and ducked as they got close enough to grab me.
They head butted each other and I ran from between them. More came through the main doors and the lady at the desk called for more. I sighed as I stopped. The raggedy old dress i was wearing swished at my knees and my matted unkempt hair covered my face. I ran around a few more and using my agility jumped from couch to couch in the main room as they tripped and swiped to grab me. I laughed again as they ran into each other and fell.
I watched as two I was running towards brought out their tasers. I gulped at the sight of the blue electricity dance across the blu pongs on the end of it. They ran at me and I ran the other way and since the door was blocked I ran down the hall back towards my room and to the main showers. If you were younger you had to be bathed. If you were older you could bathe yourself.
I ran into the shower room and jumped up the shelves. I found a vent and climbed through. I heard the guards break the doors to the shower down and I hurriedly crawled through the vents. I found the vent that went outside and pushed it out. I sighed as I grabbed the end of it and soon was hanging off the very wall that kept me locked up.
I let go and ran towards the woods. I climbed a tree and looked at the front of the building. They had cops and the SWAT team outside. They were looking for me but by time they figured it out i would have been long gone.
I jumped from the tree and began to run from the asylum. I ran through bushes and got scratched. I rolled down hills and was chased by animals. Before I knew it I saw a weird building. It had stitched markings and for some reason I was compelled to go there. But before I could get to the door I had collapsed.
-End flashback-
I looked to the man that sat next to me. He nodded and before he could speak on the matter my stomach had growled loudly. I blushed in embarrassment and he chuckled. His laugh was soothing. I smiled at him lightly.
"Since you do sound very hungry I will make something. Later today I will show you to your room and we can decide what to do from there but for now. My name is Franken Stein but you can just call me Stein." he said.
I nodded and he outstretched his hand. I took it in mine and shook it lightly. He turned without another word and I watched as he began to cook.
"Now (y/n). Do you remember why you were in the asylum?" he asked.
I sighed and thought for a moment.
"I was thrown into that building at the age of ten. It didn't take me very long to find out what was wrong with the place. Or what was supposedly wrong with me. They told me I had a case of Schizophrenia. Or at least that was what I heard." I said.
He looked at me and nodded.
"Not only are you a Schizo you are also suffering from depression." he said.
I nodded and looked at my file. I moved it over to me and it told me who had admitted me what I wore when I was admitted. What they had taken from me when I was thrown to my room. Who my doctor was and what my prescription was.
I sighed and closed it again. He turned to me as he put a plate of food in front of me. He handed me a fork and allowed me to eat.
