While walking down the stairs inside of the courthouse, he could hear gasps, whisperings, grunts and chatter among the Mobians who saw Infinite or 'Mask One' they called him, casually walking like a regular Mobian citizen through the crowds that were backing away giving the Jackal some room.

Another smile form behind his Mask, there definitely was fear coming from the people who were looking at him.

"Wasn't that Jackal suppose to be on trial?"

"You gotta be kidding me, they let that monster off the hook"

"Told ya they were going to let that monster off the hook, you can't trust the legal proceedings they take too long"

"The Resistance should've finish him off when the captured him"

"G.U.N should've kept that Jackal locked up in prison"

"What does that person look like underneath the mask?"

"So in other words not only did Dr. Eggman get immunity but that Jackal got off Scott free too, this is why we can't trust heroes or Governments to finish the Job"

"So now what's going to happen to all of us"

As Infinite was reaching the exit he could hear footsteps behind him lots of footsteps.

"An angry mob how pathetic"

He tap into the phantom ruby power as a handful of small dark red energy cubes appeared in his right gloved hand and casually threw them over his shoulder before pushing the door open leading outside and was greeted by different types of Mobian species which were news reporters.

"The more the merrier" he thought to himself smirking while hearing the footsteps get closer and News reporters asking him questions as he walked up to him.

"Were you found Not Guilty?"

"What do you plan on doing with your life now?"

"Are you going to take over the World again?"

"Where did you get that Mask?"

"Where did you get that Phantom Ruby?"

"Who are you behind that Mask of yours?"

So many questions too many reporters, they certainly were a nosey bunch after all plus he could hear the footsteps getting closer.

"Yes I was found Not Guilty and what I plan on doing next is,"he closed his right gloved into a fist which glowed briefly abit before fading "by Running"

Some loud popping sounds were heard coming from behind Infinite inside the courthouse followed by screaming, shouting and running footsteps as the Jackal got out of the way from the angry mob that was following him run outside in shock and fear from the popping sounds.

"Help"

"Run for your lives"

"We're under attack"

The mob collided into the news reporters followed more Mobians running out of the courthouse screaming and tripping over whoever had fallen to the ground.

Infinite clutches his head while laughing to himself at the little prank he made while walking down the stairs and away from the courthouse as the popping sounds continue creating panic and fear.

"What idiots, that was just a little prank to get them running, exploding cubes to sound like firecrackers, turned out to be better than I though"

Sirens could be heard passing by him with cars with flashing lights driving to the courthouse along with armored vehicles too.

His smirked widen abit.

"They are that serious heh idiots" he thought to himself before hovering up in the air and flying away to wherever he was going.

"Not Guilty"

Those two words could still be echoing in his ears when the verdict was read on TV.

"I can't believe it...after all that's happen, he gets off Scott free"

A red Mobian wolf wearing glasses was sitting on the couch staring at the seventy-five inch four K HD tv on the wall as a news report had just reported at what just happen at the courthouse a couples hours ago after getting home from work.

"If you are just tuning in we come to give you a major update on the trial that just ended two hours ago; the Jackal known only as Infinite has be found 'Not Guilty' after the verdict was read the defendant got up from his chair and started clapping and laughing before turning around to speak to the gallery for a minute before leaving even as the judge tried to tell the defendant to stay"

His ears flatten on his head while clutching his chest feeling his heart beat. There was a little bit of fear in him and here he though he got a control of his fear.

The villain known only as Infinite was now Scott free and loose wherever in the world now. He shudder at that thought hugging himself.

"After Infinite was found Not Guilty he manage to get a few words to reporters just outside the courthouse before a small commotion happen, we will now show you the video of the commotion outside of the courthouse"

The screen on the tv was replace with the mask Jackal speaking to reporters in another screen from two hours ago.

"Yes I was found Not Guilty, and what I plan on doing next...is by running"

He heard the popping sounds in the background of the screen before seeing the Jackal move out of the way followed by other Mobians crashing into the news reporters and trampling over each other.

The camera though did Manage to catch Infinite walking down the stairs laughing before walking away not helping the news reporters and anyone else that was yelling at others to get off of each other while groaning in pain.

The screen switches back to the newsroom.

"After the news reporters were trampled over with other Mobian citizens, other citizens came over and help one other while City officials were called to the courthouse over 'shots fired' as there has been no detail yet on what was fired, police were heavily armed and had three blocks including the courthouse shutdown and blocked off preventing anyone from getting in or out"

He tilted his head scratching the back of his head while listening to the news reporter on the tv.

"In the meantime, ambulances were called to the scene and thirty people were taken to the hospital along with a few of our reporters, good news is none were life-threatening"

Why did he get the sudden feeling that Infinite himself was behind the sudden commotion. Letting out a sigh, he went over to his kitchen and open up the fridge seeing inside that their wasn't much to eat as the fridge was nearly.

"Guess I'll have to go grocery shopping on my day off tomorrow" He sighs to himself reaching inside grabbing a box of leftover.

There were a few pieces in the box and he grabbed a several of them putting them on a paper plate before putting the box back in the fridge and sets the plate in the microwave for about two minutes starting it up. The red wolf leans against the wall watching the microwave while closing his eyes.

"Wonder how the others are doing, it's been like two years since the war ended and Eggman hasn't been seen or heard from ever since he testified against Infinite last week"

He lets out a sigh looking up at the cieling.

"Well here I am, back to my daily routine life, back to working at my old retail job helping customers, stocking shelves and trying to make a living"

He heard the microwave go off and takes the plate of pizza out before shutting the door and getting a can of soda out of the fridge then heading over to a square table which could have six people sitting at it.

The red wolf sits down in the chair against the wall while facing the TV that was showing another News report about the Global market which didn't really bother him as he grabbed his IPhone and unlocked it and starts surfing the internet of the news section as he listen to the TV.

"In other News, the Stock Market has just went down another thirty thousand points leaving consumers  and cooperations worried about their future, ever since the war against the Eggman Empire was finish, the stock market has been taking heavy beatings while also slowly recovering too"

The red wolf kept his eyes on the phone while still listening to the tv.

"Experts believe if the stock market doesn't recover in the next three years, inflation could set in leaving many workers unemployed; also in the market, SolarisCorps stocks rose greatly today by twenty-five percent meeting their quarterly quota"

A smile forms on the red wolf lips as he lifts his head to look at the tv.

"SolarisCorps, a successful international and yet controversial business cooperation, release this statement when ask on how they are able to stay in business for so long despite so many accusations and lawsuits filed against them"

''We trust our business partners by making the right decisions, we have faith in our associates, contractors and supplier to help our customers get what they need and want, we will always be there to help those in disastrous times"

The red wolf gave a nod in approval at that statement being red on the tv.

"And we always will, the job I have is nice, good pay, good PTO, and it's nice to have the weekends off...just wish they would give us longer breaks instead of just two half hour ones"

He sigh before finish the last piece of pizza on his plate.
