A big thanks to anyone who had participated but not made it to the shortlist. Most of your books were really interesting and the judges had a tough time finding the best of the lot. Sometimes, it was only a difference of a couple of points here and there. Looking forward to reading your works again!

1. Shortlisted contestants please follow the judges.

2. Multiple judges (maybe, even all of them) will be reading your books. You will not know which judge(s) will read your book. This is done in order to prevent bias towards or against a contestant.

3. Please check out the book, 'The Chosen Ones: Know Your Judges.' It contains information about each judge, what they look for in a book and any words of advise they might give you. (external link)

4. Based on the overall average rating, the books with the highest score will be awarded the First, Second and Third Prize. For details, please look at the 'JUDGING GUIDELINES' and 'PRIZES' section.

5. The final results will be announced on 30th September 2017.

6. Specialty awards doesn't have a shortlist and the first two prizes will be announced on 30th September along with the genre awards.
