Chapter Five

I stood in the bedroom looking down at the bed with wide eyes. Clayton was lying on a bed shirtless with only his boxers on. He was looking at me with a smirk. He looked perfect. He looked like a god just laying there lazily sprawled across the bed. He was perfect but he was a horrible cruel person. How could such a perfect looking person be so cruel.

"Stop staring Evelyn its rude."

"I'm not staring." I mumbled. "I just um was wondering where I was allowed to sleep..."

He raised an eyebrow and scooted over and patted the spot on the bed next to him.

I shook my head and quietly said "Please Clayton I don't want to sleep by you."

His jaw automatically clenched. "Evelyn just seep by me."

"Clayton please." I begged.

"Just sleep." He said angerly.

"I really don't want to sleep by you."

"Damnit Evelyn!" He yelled "Its not that big of a deal just fucking sleep by me! I swear to god if you don't lay down by me I will grab you and force you to lay by me and go to sleep!"

Suddenly without any warning tears started to come out of my eyes.

Clayton looked up at me looking shocked. "Evelyn stop crying." He said softly.

I continued to cry harder.

"Evelyn please stop crying.." He said getting off of the bed and walking over to me. "Why are you crying?" He said as calmly as he could.

"I-I I don't know. Its everything. No I'm crying because of you. Because you ruined everything. Yesterday I was sleeping in my bed, happy, unmated. And now I'm standing here in front of you wearing your clothes trying to go to sleep in a bed by myself my family are either injured badly or dying because of you and all I want is to go and see them to make sure they're okay so I'll be able to not be stressed out about them but you won't let me and now I'm mated to you and I cant stand you, you're a horrible person. All I want is to sleep by myself because I need some space to myself but you won't let me and I don't think that I am asking for to much considering you attacked the people I love basically kidnapped and all you've done is yell at me!" I snapped at him while whipping away the tears running down my face.

He stared at me for a few seconds before saying "You can just sleep on my bed here and I will go sleep on the couch."

"Okay." I mumbled as I watched him walk out if the room slamming the door shut behind him.

I sighed as I walked over to his bed and sat down. I pulled up the covers and got in them. I laid there staring at the ceiling for a couple minutes before I shut my eyes and tried to fall asleep.
