It was months after Lucky was found and repaired that she learned that her T-cog was damaged and was lead to SmokeScreens room. "Why is Lucky in here?" He asked while Ratchet led her in with a raw energon crystal. She snapped her jaws at it but it was moved before she could eat it. She nudged Ratchet which said more than enough. "Fine, but gently," Ratchet said holding the energon crystal with his hand flat. Lucky grabbed the crystal lowering her upright ears lifting it out of his hand and swallowed it whole.
   "While she was incapacitated I taught her a few... commands to ensure she didn't try and destroy everyone," Ratchet explained to a very confused SmokeScreen. "And since she seems to like you the most I thought the two of you would get along just fine."
   "I would be honored to watch Lucky," SmokeScreen said while Lucky looked around her new accommodations. "I like it," she roared happily. They both looked at her confused. "Anyways I need to get back to work. Don't burn the place down. SmokeScreen the rest of the team may you as backup," Ratchet said walking back towards he main room. "Ok. Lucky stay here," SmokeScreen said. Lucky nodded meaning she understood.
   'They can't understand me so what do I do so they can. Hm. I can't transform, thank you cons, but maybe I could... SPEAK!' Lucky thought. It actually wasn't a bad idea. She smiled and started off with a few basic short and simple words, like ice, which is what she decided to start with. "I-i-ice... ice!" She said happily, although she didn't like how she sounded. 'Yeesh. I sound like that little blue alien from that human movie,' she thought.
   While she was incapacitated, and when Ratchet was helping Optimus on missions, Lucky would enjoy watching the human movies. One of them was Lilo & Stitch, she actually enjoyed it. Especially when her friends were with her.
   Her thoughts were interuppted when Rust knocked at the door. He was named after his rusted color. "Lucky you in there?" He asked. "Y-yes," Lucky said sounding a little less like Stitch. The door opened and she saw him standing there in bot-mode, he was as tall Optimus, and he basically looked like his beast mode on it's back legs except his helm was just his beasts head opened reaveling his bots faceplates. Rust was the one who told Lucky about her damaged T-Cog. Lucky walked over towards a saddened Rust in her beast mode at full height on all fours she could look him in the optics. He stroked her neck plating and Lucky purred. Rust smiled slightly and Lucky smiled. 

   "Yeah, I know Luck, and I'm sorry about what happened to you with the Decepticons," He said sympathetically walking away moving his hand under her chin. Lucky followed Rust back out into the main room where Ratchet was busy helping Arcee and Chesnut, the final Predacon, find a strange signal, and the humans playing a 'video game' Lucky and Rust didn't exactly understand but liked to watch anyway. The rest of the team were out searching for energon, and SmokeScreen was helping BulkHead, WheelJack and Ultra Magnus take down Cons.

   Lucky rested her head on the railing while Rust spread his usable wing over her back. The game lasted for a while but the shortest of the three, Raf, eventually won the video game tournament. After the tournament Ultra Magnus commed in for a groundbridge and for Ratchet to get med bay ready. As Ratchet whirred the groundbride to life Lucky quickly trotted over next to the groundbridge vortex, worry in her optics. The two wreckers came through WheelJack with an injured arm, BulkHead with a scorch mark on his shoulder, and Ultra Magnus was helping SmokeScreen who had deep gashes on his front and back. "Take him to the med bay! Now!" Ratchet ordered. Ultra Magnus helped SmokeScreen to the med bay, but about halfway there his legs gave out from underneath him sending SmokeScreen down. Lucky raced to help her friend get back up on his feet, getting his arm under her neck and his wheight shifted into Lucky, but she didn't mind. They moved as fast as they could but there progress was slow because of his injuries.
   In the med bay Ratchet was working on SmokeScreens wounds while Rust was keeping Lucky calm. "What happened out there?" He asked. "We were ambushed. The Decepticons were there, waiting for us. They attacked us ruthlessly, but they seemed to have it out for SmokeScreenmore than the rest of it," Ultra Magnus explained. Lucky was worried, it was all over her face plating, Rust was stroking her helm and neck trying to keep her calm, only it wasn't doing much good as she was panicking and roaring slightly. Ratchet came out of the med bay, and Lucky stood up worried. "SmokeScreen will be fine Lucky," Ratchet said. She sighed in relief silently thanking Primus. "When will be be back on his feet?" Rust asked stroking Lucky's neck and back. "In about two months," Ratchet answered. Lucky whined sadly, and walked back towards SmokeScreens room and Rust followed. 

   'Some good luck charm I am. First my T-cog, and now SmokeScreen gets hurt?  I'm not lucky, I'm... what was that word... Taboo,'  Lucky thought. She fell into power down, while Rust lied down placing his head on her side, falling into power down as well. 

A/N: Yes I know this one is short but it's sweet. Sorta. Anyways, if you people sense that Rust and Lucky are going to (eventually) be sparkmates then you are correct. And no her name will not change from Lucky to Taboo her name stays put. Also I randomly found a picture of Smokey, the pic don't got anything to do with this part. Last thing there will be more of Lucky talking in beast mode! She's just uncomfortable with moving her jaws that way.
