Prolouge

One day in heaven, God's right hand man, an archangel named Lucifer learned the truth about himself. He learned that he was created by both God and Satanael (Satan), given the powers of both Heaven & Hell, both light & darkness. He then embraces his dark side, causing a transformation.

He then grasps his head, feeling excruciating pain. His head feels as though it has been split open with an axe. His eyes begin to glow as he begins to transformation. He grows two more sets of wings, the three wings on his right side shedding their white feathers, revealing pitch black, bat-like wings, the wings of a demon. His right eye changes from a golden yellow, to a crimson red. The right side of his halo shatters, leaving only half a golden ring hovering over the left side of his head, a sharp horn sprouting from his hair on the other side, which now has crimson red mixed into the golden blonde. Finally, he grows a long, pointed tail.

He gets up off the floor, his head still throbbing. He looks into a mirror and sees his transformation, and stares at his reflection, dumbstruck. He stares at his reflection for a few minutes before finally turning away. He has no idea what he'll say if he's caught. Then God calls him for information.

"Thank you for coming on such short notice Lucifer, but I have a question," God says, looking at what part of Lucifer isn't hidden by shadow. "Why are you half-hidden by shadow?" he asks. "Well..." Lucifer says, clearly worried. God then grabs him and pulls him into the light and sees what he now looks like.

"Lucifer... What happened to you!?" he says, horrified. "I now know, that this is who I really am," Lucifer says, looking Him dead in the eyes. "And now I know I must leave," he says turning away. He then dives to the side as God aims a beam of light at him.

"I am sorry Lucifer, but this kind of power cannot be left alive," he says with a sad look on his face.

Lucifer and God then had a great fight that lasted for hours. When finally, with all of his power, he was able to defeat Lucifer. He asked Lucifer if he had any last words, and Lucifer only said one word,

"Twins," he says, then his eyes go blank and his head tilts to the side. Lucifer, God's most powerful archangel, has died.

God, still having great respect for Lucifer and Lucifer having helped those around him on many occasions, throws him a great funeral and invites all the angels, azraels, and other archangels to it. He lays Lucifer to rest in a white marble tomb with a black base to represent his change.

But God just can't forget Lucifer's last words to him. "Twins, what could that have meant?" he asks himself, completely bewildered.

Thousands of years later, August 13th, 2032

Monsters now live all over, some are vicious and attack other living things on sight, while others live in harmony with humans. They still live with normal animals as well, resulting in a large amount of creatures living on Earth with humans. Adventurers are trained in certain schools to hunt these creatures food food and resources.

Amy Dire and Anthony Dire are having twins. Amy has just gone through labor, her sister Fiona, who's a nurse, has just personally delivered them for her sister, and now her and her husband are waiting to meet their twin boys. Finally, Fiona walks in, holding their children. "I have something you should know about your children," she says. "Why, is there something wrong with them?!" they both say, horrified at what they might hear. "No, they are healthy and happy, but... Well, you should see for yourself," she says as she begins to unwrap them from their blankets. The twins look nothing like their parents, who have tan skin, soft, blue eyes, and brown hair and they twins look almost nothing alike, with their sharp but kind eyes and pale skin being their only similarities. One twin has golden yellow eyes and straight golden hair. He also has a golden ring, a halo, floating just above his head and feathery white wings, only about as long as his arms and slightly wider. The other twin had deep crimson red eyes and shaggy crimson hair. He also had short pitch black horns, about as long as the top half of a person's thumb, leathery, pitch black, bat-like wings about as long as his arms, and a short pointed black tail about as long as someone's hand. "Oh my!" Amy exclaims, seeing her sons looking like an angel and a devil respectively. "We can't let anyone know about this, they might think they are monsters and will kill them," Anthony says, knowing what will happen if others see their children. "Sis, can we trust you with this secret?" Amy asks, looking at Fiona. "Of course, there's no way in hell that I'd let anyone hurt my nephews," she says adamantly. Fiona then gasps. "What's wrong?" they ask, worried. "Give me a second, I just thought of something," Fiona says before running out of the room. She then walls back in carrying what looks like a pair of heavy silver bracelets. "what are those?" Anthony asks, looking at the bracelets. "They're power-restriction bands, as you know, we must check the mana of all children when they're born. If they're mana is too powerful, the parents are given the option to have their children bands wear these bands to restrict they're mana, because without them, they could be injured. Youre children are so powerful that i had to grab the most powerful bands there were and this should also hide their... abnormalities. Thankfully, they're given to families for free, meaning you can keep them for as long as you need them." she says. "Good, let's tell them when they turn 13, they should be old enough to know by then, they'll also be heading for their 3rd year of adventurer school," Amy says, glad that her children will be okay. "I have even more good news," Fiona says, "Your children will still be very powerful, even with the Mana Manacles (they're official name)," she says smiling as she fastens the manacles to the twin's wrists.

"By the way, what are you going to name the twins?" Fiona asks, looking at her sister and her sister's husband. "We'll name this one Lucien," she says holding up the blonde boy in her arms, "and he'll one will be named Ferrous," she says, pointing to the redhead in her husband's arms. "I agree," Andrew says, loving the names his wife gave their twins. "Well, I gotta get back to work, I can't wait to see you you two and my nephews again on my day off next week," Fiona says as she walks the new family out the door, waving goodbye.

The new family then walks ou the door to the hospital, unaware of the fate that awaits the twin boys that are sleeping comfortably in they're arms.
