"YeongMi? Are you in here? Did you go for a walk? Where are you?"
GeongMin was about to leave the empty room, until she noticed the half open closet. Surely YeongMi wouldn't be in there?
GeongMin peeked in, staring at YeongMi for a moment. She felt strange, seeing YeongMi in this position. She almost looked pathetic, and GeongMin didn't like that thought.
She knew of YeongMi's pride, so she quickly backed up, exiting the room. She hovered by the door and taking a deep breath. "YEONGMI!"
When she opened the door again, YeongMi was standing by the bed, rubbing her eyes with a dull expression.
"Hey! Dinner's gonna be in a few minutes."
"Already?!"
"Yeah, I was gonna to wake you up when I got home, but my brother said you weren't feeling well."
YeongMi grimaced; that was an understatement.
Noticing GeongMin hesitating in the doorway, YeongMi patted the bed, "come for a second, I'll braid your hair quickly."
GeongMin smiled, stepping inside.

"Mom, you don't understand, I found her in the closet. Has Namjoon told anything to you about her? I think she's not as normal as we thought."
"Sweetheart, we shouldn't be rude. All I know is that she didn't have the best childhood. But she's a sweet girl, and your brother loves her."
"I don't mean it like that, I like her a lot! I just mean, maybe we could help her?"
"Sometimes it's best to just pretend you don't know anything, and be a silent support group. She might get embarrassed if you question her. Or maybe she sleepwalks, you don't know the full story."
Namjoon frowned, hiding around the corner, listening to his mother and sister talking as they washed the dishes.
He had felt bad all day about lashing out, but he was still a little upset. He knew it wasn't fair, but that didn't do anything to change how he felt. Still, maybe it wasn't the best idea to give YeongMi space after all.
He tiptoed down the hall, pausing by the door for a moment, listening for any sign that YeongMi was awake.
It was silent, so after taking a few moments to compose himself, he let himself in. It took a few moments for his eyes to adjust to the darkness, but once he had, he wasted no time, pulling the covers back and letting himself into the bed.
He reached out to find her, quickly shuffling so that her back was against his chest.
"I'm sorry, Yeo, you know I love you."
"I know," YeongMi had considered faking sleep, but she didn't think she could.
While she didn't lean into Namjoon, she didn't push him away either.
