It was finally the day. It didn't feel real until YeongMi was sitting in the bus station, next to Namjoon as he talked to his mother. Noticing his affectionate tone, she smiled, happy that he could have such a nice relationship with his family.

"Yes mom, she's excited to meet you too."

Leaning her head on Namjoon's shoulder, supposedly so that she could hear him better, YeongMi found herself distracted by his features. It was a common occurrence, but she could never get enough of it, always staring as if it was the first time.

It was safe to say that she was smitten, even if she still wasn't quite ready to admit it. Namjoon noticed her dreamy stare, but he continued talking as if his insides weren't beating each other up at the sight of his girlfriend looking so, well, in love.

He would keep to his word and wait for her to be ready. He had convinced himself that it was worth the wait, as he was sure he would melt the moment the desired words left her lips. It would be worth dying, to be able to see the look on her face, to know that she was completely comfortable with him, and comfortable with her feelings as well.

For now, he was content to soak up every potential unsaid confession that she sent his way, like the way her fingers brushed over the back of his hand before she grabbed it, and the way that she always sat close enough for their thighs to touch. Every glance made his heart jump, and he figured that even if she didn't say it, he thought she loved him.

"Mom, she's resting, you can talk to her when we get there."

YeongMi smiled, slipping her hand under his arm to lay it on his knee. She knew they were talking about her, and she wanted to know about it.

"Fine, I'll ask her," Namjoon turned to YeongMi, an embarrassed smile on his face, "my mom wants to hear your voice."

YeongMi nodded, and Namjoon held to phone up to her face.

Namjoon's mother had a very soft, kind voice. It seemed like the perfect voice for a loving mother, and YeongMi immediately felt small again. "Hello, my name is Yi YeongMi," a pang of guilt shot through her chest, but she ignored it, "and I'm very happy to be meeting you, thank you for letting me stay."

Satisfied with her polite greeting, she looked to Namjoon to see if he approved. He gave her a wide smile.

"She sounds very cute, I'm glad you managed to get such a nice girl."

YeongMi held back a snort, but she gave Namjoon a haughty look, before leaving him to finish talking to his mom.

Wishing to pass the time, YeongMi pulled out her own phone. She noticed Seungkwan's text, and an amused smile rising to her lips.

Pocketing her phone, she took Namjoon's offered hand, standing as the bus arrived.
