"Yeah, the Boyfriend concert was probably the best part of my summer. The third one, that is. The first two were decent, but the third one was really quality. I swear they all looked at me. And who can blame them? I looked my best, everyone else was so sweaty from jumping and screaming. Pathetic."

YeongMi scowled, sinking farther into her seat. She actually tried focusing on the teacher, and that was something she never wanted. However, anything was better than listening to Bora going on and on about her fabulous summer vacation.

The fact that Bora liked such a good group only furthered YeongMi's irritation; she liked Boyfriend, but now everytime she thought of them she'd get a sour taste in her mouth.

"But then, running into Bo Gum on the airplane was pretty cool too. He was so nervous looking at me though, so it wasn't as good as you'd expect it to be. I swear anyone who saw would think that I was the celebrity."

YeongMi's face was tight with irritation; if Bora said one more thing, she wasn't sure she could keep her head. If she had to see Bora flip her hair one more time, YeongMi swore she would explode.

She closed her eyes, breathing deeply and counting again and again, hoping that eventually it would actually calm her down.

A hand rested on her shoulder, "how was your summer, YeongMean?"

YeongMi opened her eyes, shifting her eyes to glare at Bora. Bora had leaned over, squeezing her chest together as she stared innocently at YeongMi.

"Wow, I've never heard that one before. I'll give you props for that," YeongMi smiled sweetly, "but you're still an insufferable bitch."

Bora's face fell, and she drew back, her lips curling up in annoyance before she turned to focus on someone else.

"Ladies, focus." They both gave the teacher a fake smile before turning and muttering under their breath.

Things were growing rotten fast. YeongMi was already disgusted, and the day wasn't even over yet. The thought that the rest of the school year would go like this made YeongMi sick to her stomach.

Why did Bora have to be in the same grade as them? YeongMi was just waiting for her to try and make a move on Namjoon. She was just waiting for things to fall apart.

The thought terrified her; after all this time, she was finally settling in, not just in the place, but in the people around her.

She was just getting close to people, just starting to think that things were truly working out, and this knock off princess had to waltz back into the picture.

YeongMi rested her head on her desk, taking out her frustration by pinching her palm.

Somebody touched her back, and she jerked her head up, ready to spit venomous words at Bora, before seeing that she was currently talking to the boy next to her.

YeongMi glanced to her right, relaxing when she saw that it was only Namjoon.

"Relax babe, she's not gonna do anything to you."

"Psh, I'm gonna be doing stuff to her if she keeps getting on my nerves."

"Her breathing gets on your nerve, Yeo. She can't really help that."

YeongMi bit her lip, letting out a huff of a laugh.

Namjoon's hand covered hers, pulling her hands apart and gently rubbing the skin on her palm until the crescents disappeared.

"Nothing is gonna happen, I promise you."

YeongMi could only shrug.
